Could be anything. You feeling sick at all? A low grade sinus infection or anything like that gives me the similar symptoms. What's going on in life - too much stress could do it. Could well be just about anything I suppose.

I hope it gets better for you. Good luck.

Its nothing,., thats whats bothering me.. Everything is ok, no sickness/stress
just that I suddenly have no desire for working out anymore and thats what making me depressed right now

Did you lose your motivation before or after you started eating junk? Diet plays a big role not only in energy but also emotions...believe it. Start eating clean again (and that doesn't mean low carb either!) and you'll feel better...

Are you taking any supplements right now?

Hope things pick up for you...they will ;)

Sounds like overtraining to me.

Take a step back and analyze your life anyways. Sometimes little things can get to you more than you think.

Right now, I kind of reached a similar, but not quite as serious point myself. I began to overtrain, hurt my rotator cuff, and was forced to take a break. I've been miserable ever since. I feel mildly depressed, want to sleep all the time, and have little motivation to stick to my diet. My life is going great too. I've been promoted at work, am seeing a new girl, am shopping for a new car, things couldn't be better.

Working out too much, or total lack there-of can be a powerful thing.

My advice: Don't fight it. Listen to your body and take a little time out of the gym. Your muscle won't disapear over the course of a week or two. Turn to the that thing you've been procrastinating and go do it instead. Whatever you do, take it easy and don't think twice about it because it happens to everybody from time to time.

Sounds like its time to take a little time off from training. If you think it's something more serious then go see a doc.

Now that's some great advice...
I'm feeling better already, and I didn't even feel bad to begin with :D

I feel like that sometimes. I take a week off, if I still dont' feel better, I'll force myself another month, take another week off, repeat until I'm feeling good again. Then I'll go two whole months w/out a week off :)

Honestly, I think that's normal. Just make sure that you don't go anymore than 2 weeks w/out starting back up b/c after that, you're probably not going to make it back into the gym before you lose an inch on your arms :frustrate

Just go watch Pumping Iron bro, that usually does it for me when I get in a rut.

I hear you though - havent even made it this week been so busy with work and other projects. It helps to have some weights at the house so you can bust out a few sets of something. Missed chest day? Try 5 sets of 60 pushups with 60 seconds inbetween each set. Do some bodyweight squats, etc.

When I cant make to the gym, I always try to do *something*, so I dont feel so guilty.

Boy this is a tough one, been there more times than i care to mention. The last time that happened to me I was ripped, training for a show then all of a sudden im like what am I doing all this for,so I just stopped for 8 years. I put on 80 lbs smoking, drinking as soon as I stopped lifting all the other aspects of healthy lifestyle went out the window..

It's been one year back and after making tremendous results im at a crossroads as well. The change from summer to fall really had an impact on me,I think I do suffer from seasonal affective disorder mild depression,my tan is gone I do not look as cut as before.I use 5-HTP and St.Johns wort and 100mg DHEA it seems to help.
My biggest issue right now is soreness and joint pain from the relentless pounding I put my body through this past year.I started a thread a few days ago about knowing when to take a break, and even after everyone suggested to take a week off I could not comprehend it and trained anyway. My shoulders and knees are hurting so bad I cant carry a shopping bag with a half gallon of milk without wencing in pain.I have not had more that 2 days off in a row in the past year training...All I can say is take a week off (I am) try to keep the diet clean and try to get refocused any way you can,for me its easy all I got to do is look at my picture of a year ago...Good luck and you will get through this.I wish I had a forum like this back in the day because here we understand, and the average Joe has no clue..

I think that is is very easy to be so focused for a short period of time but to stretch it into years is tough, you just cant be that intense all the time, this seems to work for me.I look at Bodybuilding more like a marathon than a sprint...

Im right there with you bro as much as Id love to live diet and training - its just impossible without neglecting other things that are important to me. I often find I can give a good 1-3 months a year into really solid focus to bust through a plateau or reach a big goal...the rest of the time is me trying to make it happen but usually ends up just being maintenence or very slow gains. Hoping that when I get a house and some equipment of my own it'll be a little easier.

Over training is my guess.

Or,.. your body is fighting to stay at it's most efficiant (if you JUST started lifting not to long ago)

I have had this happen once or twice. It's usually over with in a week,.. week and a half.
I never know what causes it.

Are you tring to loose weight, or gain it?
It has been said your diet plays a part in your mood, which can be VERY true.

I suspect your tring to loose weight, and your metabolism has slowed to stopped to preserve muscle mass becasue your diet is too restricted, and expendature too great..
(also like overtraining)
