Yeah, be weary of a woman who won't stop texting another guy. Obviously you don't want to ask this of her for every guy in her life. Some may be legit friends and you DON'T want to become that guy...

But I had an ex who would constantly text this dude, an ex of hers. Even after I made her aware of it making me uncomfortable. She still texted. Well eventually I cut her loose because it was becoming clear she just didn't respect my feelings and always had some BS excuse or say she would stop but never would. Turns out my gut feelings were right, as soon as I cut her loose. This dude moved in with her!! 3 months later she kicked him out fro another ex of hers. Some women just can't be pleased with one man. This one always needed to feel wanted. Probably had a daddy complex from her dad running out on her at a young age.

Don't ignore the flags.
 
lmao you asked what he is trying to do....you know full well what he is trying to do haha. Now text him back and tell him to meet you in his underwear at your house then club him to death with something blunt and blame it on him being a crazy stalker who broke in to molest your GF while she slept. You will feel so much better in the morning. :firedevil:
 
I will never go to jail over a woman^^^^ talk to people who are in or have been in, over half are there cause of a woman, whether directly or indirectly. no woman is worth my freedom. only family is worth going to jail over but thats only if someone really wrongs them. i'm a father, not a dad but a father and if someone hurt my little girl it would be on like donkey kong, but a GF, come on man, i have a daughter to raise, wouldn't want to do it behind bars, more like couldn't do it behind bars

lol the plan is foolproof! No prison...unless you lived in Canada..lol. how about just getting him to meet you at a hotel then and you can beat him with a bag of Valencia oranges?!! No marks, no death no proof! Or find out where he lives and sweeten up his gas tank and leave a collage stating that talking to other peoples GFS is not tolerated. If he does it to yours, he does it to others. So again no proof! Just feeding ya ideas bro..lol.

I would always wonder if she's leaving the door open just in case things don't work out with you. If things get more serious like living together, then I would want the comunications with the ex to stop. I'm a jealous guy but until its more serious, you can't blame her, you only live once-

i hear ya, but instead of going through all that i could just leave her and save myself all that.......but i like how you think, when i was younger i used to think the same way. wait outside someones house in the early morning with a baseball bat.......see the front door open and close, jump out from the bushes and bet him down in his own front yard.....just don't be stupid...burn the ski mask, shoes and clothes you we're wearing and never open your mouth while doing the deed......wouldn't want your voice to be heard

But back to the topic, there's a good chance your girl is just getting a little extra attention to reinforce the ego and nothing more. We all do it to some degree - it's why most of us are in the gym after all.

If it is preoccupying your mind that much then maybe just tell her that you do trust her but the fact that it is happening as often as it is and with an ex that it is making you uncomfortable and ASK her to cut back. Her response will be a good indicator of her mindset.

Sorry to sound cheesy but relationships have to be built on trust. Spying is a slippery slope. You'll eventually find something that you will find 'objectionable', however small and that will just fuel paranoia. Next thing you end up with an obsession instead of a relationship.
