WORST tasting protein EveR!

That sounds like the ABCD diet if I recall it right.

Nastiest stuff I've ever used was some strawberry chalk flavored GNC performance stuff back in the day.

I just picked up a 5lb-er of syntrax matrix chocolate. I actually really like it, nice malty flavor and mixes very easily for a protein blend. However, I have noticed a slight increase in fume emmission.
 
I guess none of you guys have ever used hydrolyzed whey. I don't mean the pussy stuff you find in most mixes, I mean pure 100% unflavored hydrolyzed whey that has been brought down to a low dalton level. Think of the strongest cheese you've ever smelled or tasted, increase the flavor by 100%, then let it go rancid. That's hydrolyzed whey for you.
 
I never tried it due to me only being 24 but I would have to say that the worst ever has to go to Bob Hoffmans(I think it was his) protein from the sea. I believe it was a fish based protein from way back in the day. If you have ever made a tuna shake I would imagine it would have to be close to that. The worst I have3 ever tried was a sample of IDS Cinn oatmeal whey, really strong chemical taste.
 
Deer - I tried that crap in 2003. You are right - tastes AWFUL.

I think it's because of the casein - which tastes bad (as mentioned).

Jay, i think you meant to post this in the best tasting protein thread, oh wait a product from ABB....must be the right place then. but seriously your just doing that to piss me off! i dont know what the deal is i go thru a 10lb bag of that ON stuff real easy. But then again you do like AI peanutbutter/banana so.....i guess well never agree.
 
That rockyroad flavor just tasted horrible :) The ABB stuff wasn't terrible while drinking but the 10 minute aftertaste made it a nasty drink.
 
The old Weider Dynamic Muscle Builder tasted so bad it still makes my stomach wrench thinking about it today.
 
BAD both in and out

while out of town for a conference I had to buy some protein since I didnt wanted to bring some. I went to the local Vitamin World and bought their weight gainer . . . it tasted horrible going in and the egg protein made it smell horrible coming out! My wife was lucky she was at home cuz my gas wor the worst ever, it could not stop laughing throughout the night as it leaked out of me:toofunny: . She threw it away cuz she did feared it since I couldnt handle it and I love my gas.
 
Syntrax Matrix Chocolate & ON Cookies and Cream.

I actually finished the Syntrax but it took me about 4 months. And I just gave the ON away.

There are only 2 proteins I just cannot stomach...ON cookies and cream, tried the first run of it when it had just hit the market, and I had the runs for the next couple of hours. :dump: The next would be Pineapple Orange Banana 0 Carb Isopure! One of my favorite proteins thinking wow this sounds AMAZING...Half way through the first shake I had to pour the remaining down the drain. Also I would like to add Pro Complex Strawberry, I've found hat in 8oz water 2 scoops I can down it pretty quick, but seriously taste is just so rancid!

Horrible...u would think that a drink with 5,000 calories would be able to taste alright....guess not. I would drink this b4 school in high school and be farting the entire day....that part was cool
 
What about a good low carb/no carb protein shake?

I tried this VPX Zero Carb Fat Incinerating Zerotein Chocolate and it takes like chemicals and vomit.

Do these guys know what chocolate tastes like?

Seriously, any assistance on no carb, or no sugar carb shakes (mix with water) would be great.
 
Mixed in milk that was some of the best tasting stuff besides the original Met-Rx in the base/plus tubs.......

I find ONs french vanilla is not bad.

VP2 citrus splash is probly the closest you can get to something resembling the taste of vomit, I havent tasted **** or garbage though.
 
Just tried some other isopure drinks. ..... Horrible.
