Wife Has COVID-19

No question the 10 weeks will do that dude. give it a couple weeks of consistency again and you'll be rocking and rolling.
 
I took a big hit on my strength as well. I was forced to take the vax to keep my job and I've had lots of joint related type issues since taking it. My strength has been crap since.
 
Another thing that is going on for 99% of us is that our schedules are completely fucked up for the last 2 years. depending on your region you've either had gym closures, or fucked up work schedules, or weird mask requirements at gyms etc.

Forging through is commendable and alpha, but these challenges are widespread and should be acknowledged before beating yourself up too horrible. muscle memory truly is a thing, you'll rebuild fast.

maybe not...it is my opinion that there will be long lasting effects from the vaxx...bill gates is involved, i look for contraception issues to be a thing for those who are vaxxed...again, this is my opinion and i have earned the right to have one, rather anyone else agrees with it or not!!!

It was tough getting back after COVID; work & capacity was crap and generally harder to get enough oxygen in everything in life. But the big thing is your 10 weeks off - you should have been doing push-ups, burpees, lunges, chin-ups at a minimum if you weren’t comfortable coming back (if strength was a high priority).

BUT you are where you are, so ever onward & don’t look back! You built it once; you know how to do it again. You are healthy now and the world is your oyster - enjoy the process of the comeback!!!

I didn't think working out was a good idea when sleeping 0-5 hours broken per night. Now it's 4-6 broken, but I can at least function.
 
cnn,msnbc,nyt,wapo,abc, nbc, cbs completely avoid johns hopkins study finding covid lockdowns ineffective.

do you have life stressors causing anxiety etc that are effecting your sleep?
I've seen some severe insomnia in my life with a few people close to me. I'd say out of 4 cases of very severe insomnia, 3 of them were mental stressors, like work, divorce, etc that led to sleep deprivation. the 4th one was an alcohol intolerance sorta (my wife has a really fucked up sleep cycle when we drink too much wine at night)

When I owned another side business I went about a year without sleep and my heart really breaks for you man because I remember how my brain hurt. it wasn't a headache, it was like I felt like I was actually being slowly killed by the lack of sleep. it was so miserable, if I had a solution for you I do anything for someone else to not have to experience that. not sleeping due to insomnia/anxiety is probably the single worst experience of my life.

That said, just like in the gym it made me stronger. not much stresses me out anymore lololololololol

Thanks man, but no, not a single thing in my life to stress about. Honestly, life couldn't be better. I thought it was improving too, but no, been up since 1am today...

what is disgusting is the same people on social media who were so outspoken about trump's actions now give current politicians praise for similar actions they were so opposed to when it was trump.

When I was a teenager in the 90’s it was the religious right that wanted censorship and boycotts and all this stuff and the left hated it…I hated it…difference is I hate it when anyone does this crap and they just really want power at all costs.

It’s all so frustrating.

i remember not that many years ago when young people would laugh about the stories i would tell of beatles and elvis records being burned--they said that kind of censorship will never happen again....the irony is that those same young people are now the ones endorsing censorship.

I’ve also noticed the most ardent anti-religious types(the ones that make sure everyone knows it is beneath them) put a religious like belief in the state.

He said as much. Funny thing is you could make the same tape about say Biden, Howard Stern, Kimmel, Trudeau, etc but these super coordinated acts happen to people that don’t follow narratives like Rogan and David Portnay(barstool). It’s obvious battle for the minds. Like if they really cared why be selective with person and timing.

That said I totally get if someone didn’t want to listen based on this. I listened to that one back when it aired about Philly and although I thought it was a terrible take I didn’t take his intention after the whole thing as I believe race is destiny and I am supreme or any whacky ****. It was just a bad take and he ended it with being a fantastic experience being there.

Hate him, love him, indifferent…I just hope people see the big picture of what is happening here in the world. Keep it about race so we don’t see…and I hate to use the Marx term but he wasn’t wrong about everything…the class divide of elites and middle/lower classes.

Except Trump didn't actually do any of these things. They kept SAYING Trump is a tyrant, he's going to do this he's going to do that. he's going to start a war etc etc etc but he didn't. Even with the virus, he left things at a state level.

Now that the Brandon team is actually doing everything that Trump was accused of, all of the anti-Trumpers are on board with the very acts they supposedly were angry at Trump for committing even though he never did. it's like living in the twilight zone.

Me neither. I ordered them the second day it went “live.” They just can’t do anything right..

Nonetheless, can you believe I still haven’t gotten COVID? Neither has my GF and we have both worked in the public from day 1.

LOL yeah but my unvaccinated wife tested negative with a cold that kept her home for 3 days
Mean while her vaccinated daughter just caught covid for the second time, tested positive. she got it from her vaccinated roommate who also tested positive. and is now staying with her elderly vaccinated aunt and uncle. she has a runny nose.

my wife and i have been exposed to numerous people who have tested positive...and neither of us have tested positive since we had covid back in march of last year--and neither of us are vaxxed!!!

while her cold was far worse than Omicron, she's fine lol
January was to be a huge month for us at the gym, major cut before we go on vacation (we fly out tonight) but about 2 weeks in between bad colds and just massive life business we had to make gym cutbacks. but health is good otherwise :)

what do you think about that audio clip of trump recently? the one where he says it's clever and smart to declare those parts of Ukraine as indipendant so Russia can invade. at the very end he says "it's very sad" but the whole time he sure sounds envious of Putin until that point

oh I agree with him that Putin may be a level of evil genius. if you can target regions of your enemies land that are filled with rebels then it may create an easy takeover zone
