AI hands down..amino profile blows them all away (though i haven't compared it to every choice up there). I'm an AI'er for life. gotta pimp lakeland. I used to double up with Met-rx but i gain too much fat.

I once lived off AI protein for 3 days straight...nothing else but a banana and a bagel or 2 from the continental breakfast

Is that what you are calling it now a day your 'truck' ?

CROWLER

I was going to call it my "18 wheeler" but then I'd have to adorn it with wheels or bobbles or other awkward things... nah.. truck will do fine.

I'm gonna go with Dymatize... But I will try AI sooner or later.

I'd like to see a nice sale on AI for about 23.99 and then they might hook me for the long run.....:icon_lol:

True Protein!!!!
High quality protein and other supplements for a great price.
Whey Protein Concentrate = $3.77 per lb
You can also mix and match with isolate, casein, etc. and they also have pre-made mixes too. they always have good deals too like spend $100 and get free waxy maize or other stuff.
Used my discount code bsb538 for an additional 5% off

orange juice? at first I thought that was a joke. here is some info on concentrate vs. isolate

hmmmm checked true protein's info...impressive...i just whipped up a protein cocktail 50%whey CONCENTRATE /25% egg/25% casein. I'll use as my nighttime snack...good call:thumbsup:

VPX zero impact chocolate is good stuff. Even when I mix it with the some horrid tasting ON vanilla ice cream flavor whey, it overpowers it :)
ON Rocky Road is good too, my coworkers rave over the smell.

I'd always been a big fan of Muscle Milk Strawberry Milkshake, but the new Strawberry Syntha-6 from BSN is really good. I'm probably going to stay with it for a while.

It has nothing to do with encouragement, Metabolic Drive is the best tasting protien powder hands down!!!!!!! Nothing comes close,
Umm have you tried AI's protein? Hands down the best I've ever tasted..I'm set for life...Chocolate peanut butter, chocolate mint...MMMMM

Looks like someone forgot ALRI lipolytic Whey Protein, The best ever!!!!!

Who do I talk to about this :bruce1:

Nothing comes close, I'm not a Biotest fan in anyway but I find it interesting that you'd say they have crappy products but you've never tried them?? I'm not pushing it, I'm just stating my opinion based on trying just about every protien out there.
Most of thier products are straight forward, creatine mono, zma, etc and the other "cutting edge" products seem to get very good reviews. I've tried a few and haven't been overly impressed except with Mag10 which was some good stuff. A lot of it is overpriced, but the protien is priced competitively and is incredible. Personally I wouldn't knock something unless you've tried it, ie I will never give Muscletech or EAS another penny, these are things I've tried that I find truely crappy, I tested them, they suck imo so now I have an opinion based on experience. You've expressed your opinion based on ??? hear say?

Bologna :D I challenge you to a taste test Mr. Basso. I dont have any samples, as we dont make samples. BUT if you feel comfortable with me sending you like 6 scoops to try out I will, Cause I know once you taste ALRI Lipolytic Whey, you will NEVER go back to.......you know who :)

Deal or no Deal :)

Send me those scoops and i'll give you an honest review FnF. So far i'm stuck on ON's and AI's for best taste and mixability.

Gf-pro has been my staple for about a year. It's pricier, but you get what you pay for, that's for sure.

Pro Rated at Costco - 6lbs/$27 tax included.

Amino profile is as good or better than most. Taste? This is not a gourmet meal its a pre/post workout shake.

I have yet to find anything that is so exceptionally better or cheaper that is worth an additional 25% for shipping.

My wife ships mine from the store to my pantry twice weekly for free.

Well I dont have it chaufferred to my house for me, but it is the powder I use and am quite pleased with the taste and price.
So, Biggity Bump to B5150.
ps.great avatar B5150, old VanHalen kicks A in the gym!!

Physique I quote from This is what craig balancheette said about physique
" I'm surprised that more athletes don't know about Physique because it could be changing a lot more careers for the better. There are only a certain number of years you can compete at a top level and you just don't have time to waste on second-rate products."
This product has Bio-Build which is a patented protein to carbohydrate ratio to help replenish muscle glycogen and trigger an anabolic response. It is the ONLY whey protein product ON THE MARKET I know of that is comprised of 44% BCAAs so no real need to supplement things like glutamine creatine or BCAA's. I get the whole thing in one jam packed shake and it has 3 published studies ON THE PRODUCT itself to support the claim that it does what the label on the tub says. I am on tub 6 now cuase never thought that even existed until I came across this product from a store in Florida. For those whom this may concern: the product is 100% natural, 99.7% lactose free and Kosher certified

I am interested in trying ALRI Lipolytic Whey. I have seen a lot of talk about it and I want to know what's so nutritionally superior about it over other proteins?

I found some micell edge double chocolate fudge for $14 (~3lbs) at VS. It's not bad but not as good at VPX chocolate.

I tried a run of isopure but it was decent and taste was horrible.
Will be testing nitrotech hard core soon. I am getting sponsered so I won't have to worry about cost.

Not on the list, but may fall under the wheys, but designer protein is by far my favorite.. The protein count could be a little better, but the taste and palatibility more than makes up for it..

Actually LipoLytic tastes really really good, one of the best on the market, I just didn't like the issues I had with mixability. I mix my protein with milk, btw.

Compare ATW's price and quality and there are not many who can hang. If you look at the difference between ATW's Whey Blend and Optimum's...... we were cheaper, with more protein in a smaller serving with a great AA profile. Don't take my word for it, just look at the numbers.......unless someone likes a flavor that ATW doesn't have....there is no justification to buy ON whey.

-All the Whey Protein Blend –
22 g protein, 28.4 g serving size; 77.5% protein
5Lbs = $21.39!!!!! With an "AM06" discount it's only $20.11!!!

-Optimum Nutrition 100% Natural Whey –
23 g protein; 31.4 g serving size; 73% protein
5 lbs = $49.99! (R U Kidding?)
(Pricing from ON.com)

I tried the muscle milk natural strawberry the other day and it didn taste that great

Optimum Nutrition Whey is Hard to beat. I'll pick up a 6 pound bag of eas whey at costco for 26 bucks sometimes. If Im trying to gain I'll use XM2 by Xyience its a lot cheaper then muscle milk and tastes good.

I think when you're a company rep/owner you need to be careful when comparing your product to the competition's because I did my own comparison of the two products. What you posted is highly unrealistic and misleading. Most people are not going to be buying directly from ON. But if you're going to take the MSRP from ON you might want to be fair and post the MSRP from your site which is listed as $39.52. On NutraPlanet's website a 5lb tub of ON can be had for $29 and yours can be had for $20 apparently even though your site says $28.23. Also, your product's first ingredient is Whey Concentrate while the majority of ON's is Isolates. Perhaps there is a reason for their higher price and there is justification for purchasing it over ATW afterall?

I'm not bagging on your product. I'm sure it's great considering all the reviews but I absolutely hate it when reps rip on other companies and skew the facts.

ON 100% Whey Gold Standard
I like the Strawberry and Double Chocolate flavors
come one lol....10lbs for $50!!!!! You just can't beat that
From reading this though I might looking into the Anabolic Innovations...I would also like to try Syntha-6 by BSN and GF Pro by Ergopharm

Definitely have to put my vote in for Beverly International proteins....Yes, they are on the more expensive side, however the taste is excellent and I've found that they are the best protein powders for making protein pankcakes, brownies, etc.

I have to vote again for Anabolic Innovation :)

:goodpost: I don't understand why a company would even bother putting concentrate in their protein product. There are many other proteins out there that can definitely be swapped in place of WPC that would lead to better muscular gains (i.e. milk protein, egg protein, etc.).

Heres my review on several proteins:

GF Pro: The highest quality you can get, but mixability isnt great and taste is average.

ONs Gold Standard: Taste/Mixability are both good, but chocolate is the only flavor I can tolerate for the taste.

EliteWhey: very similar to ONs, but with more flavor options. Taste and mixability are both good. (taste slightly better than ONs)

Nitrotech(Reg or Hardcore): Horrible taste. Horrible mixability. Horrible quality. Horrible value.

Isopure: Good quality, but bad taste and value.

Designer Whey: Bad all around

AnnabolicInnovations Isolate: Great taste and mixability. The quality and value are topnotch. I dont see think it could get any better than this one.

ALRI Lipolytic- Id love to try any of the ALRI products, but I havent got around to this one yet. FNF, Ill be buying a few tubs in about a week so, If want to send me just one sample to try, Id really appreciate. I can cover the shipping if you want me to. If its as good as you say, Im thinking I might get converted, but AIs will be hard to beat.
