PES Select French Toast

Recipe

1/4 Cup Milk (Around 50g)
½ Scoop PES Select Whey (around 15-16g)
10g Complete Pancake Mix
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
4 Slices Whole Wheat Bread
1 Egg Whites
1 Whole Egg

Directions

Take All Dry and Combine in a large mixing Bowl, Top with your egg, dash of vanilla, and milk and stir until everything is blended up (or you can use a blender) but I use a stand up mixer, and dissolved.

Once your mixture is done, you can simply dunk the bread into the mixture and then toss on a griddle/skillet and cook as many as you want at a time (I did 4 slices)

Very simple and easy to create the French toast, you can also add a ton of things like fresh fruit, pancake syrup, protein pudding and various other things to enhance the flavor or the final product.

Your version is nice and simple, I will stick to my PB2 for now though.

The almond milk ones were actually my favorites and lower cals to boot.

I think another good combo would be Snicker doodle + caramel centre :)

Day dreaming about Select protein, too far? Lol

My Snikerdoodle Pancakes:

6oz of French Vanilla Almond Milk
1/3 cup Snickerdoodle Select
1 large egg white
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda

Just Blend their pancakes not the powderpuff girls recipe lol, but these have come out awesome for me lately. Looking to add a frosting idea to them though.

In that case I will just keep on baking until I exhaust my ideas lol. A book sounds like a great idea if it happens.

Found a crazy recipe earlier today I am going to send your way to consider, Solution. I saw it and thought if anyone could get it right it would be you and it looks great. Out of my low-carb zone though lol

PES Select Waffles:

Recipe

60g Flour/Pancake Mix (Complete)

25g PES Select Protein
3g Splenda

Baking Powder (5g)

8g SF/FF Pudding Mix (Vanilla)

1 Egg

1 White (Stiffen this in a separate bowl by itself and fold into the mixture)

25g Greek Yogurt
1/4 Cup Milk (I used almond)

Directions

Pre-Heat Waffle Iron

Combine all Dry
Then add in the whole egg and milk, and MIX.
In a separate bowl mix the egg white by itself to a stiff peak (around 2-3 minutes) and SLOWLY fold into the mixture.

This will help with moisture and overall texture and cook on a MEDIUM HEAT (low to medium is best) to prevent burning.

Allow 2-3 minutes to cook and Enjoy

Select Snickerdoodle Gingerbread Cake

Gluten free, lots of healthy, natural ingredients.
Snickerdoodle mixed flawlessly into Gingerbread, tastes great.

74 calories per serving, makes 16 servings.
5.7g fat, 7.6 g carbs, 2.8g protein.

image-2734518150.jpg

Ingredients:
1 scoop Select Snickerdoodle protein
1 cup pumpkin puree
3/4 cup splenda
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup virgin coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cornstarch
few pinches of salt
1 1/2 tbsp ground flax
3 tbsp water

The flax is softened in the water and functions as a vegan egg substitute, if more convenient for you, use an egg.

Directions are simple, all ingredients either into a food processor or I used a large bowl and immersion blender. Mix well and transfer to an 8x8 baking dish.

Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or when cooked through.

image-844439146.jpg

Top it how you want it, protein icing for extra protein or a whipped fat free philly/splenda icing like I did.

image-184573866.jpg

Enjoy!

Did the SnickerDoodle mask the pumpkin taste?
A few people who initially didnt know what it was thought it may be pumpkin spice cake, so not fully.

Myself and many other family members think they are crazy and must just not like pumpkin. I thought it turned out quite well, we all enjoyed it. Your pumpkin pie was a hit by the way, it disappeared fast.

Baked one for all 3 family Christmas dinners lol I've got my share of vitamin A recently

The pie is AWESOME when dieting, now eating 400+G of carbs daily if i were to eat a whole fan of pumpkin in a sitting it would back me up big time haha

Gonna knock out the SnickerDoodle Roll here soon, and the Cinnamon bread/Loaf Starting sunday. food all prepped up for the next 2 days, if i bulk cook chicken or beef and use more whey it goes bad so i cant let food go to waste.

Select jumbo Oreos

Cookie macros: 104 calories (recipe makes 16)
5.5g fat, 6.5g carbs, 5.5g protein

Pastry filling: adds 3g fat to each, about 30 cals

Or show extra Select love with a greek yogurt and CnC creamy filling, adding almost pure protein.

Cookie ingredients:

100g flour
2 scoops Select milk chocolate Protein
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup light butter (room temp)
1 cup splenda
1 omega egg (room temp)
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
Dash salt

Cream Filling: (pastry version)

60g light butter (room temp)
45g fat free cream cheese
Desired amount of splenda (I used 1 1/4 cups)
Vanilla extract to taste

Again to fit macros you can use CnC or any Select protein icing/whip.

Directions:
In a large mixing bowl beat the butter until softened, add in all wet ingredients and mix.
Add in all dry ingredients and mix together.
Set this all in the fridge to chill 20 minutes, make your filling in this time.

Preheat oven to 350 and spray two large cooking sheets with cooking spray. Press balls of dough into desired size for cookies, slightly flatten. I made 16 oreos and these came out quite large (32 cookies)

Bake for 7 minutes and set aside to cool 10 minutes before adding filling.

The filling is simple, all at room temperature, use a mixer on low and beat until a whipped consistency.

Stack up some oreos and get hungry.

Cookies pressed on the baking sheet

image-383933129.jpg

Like I said mine were quite large, making them actual Oreo size would yield 40+

image-3371566682.jpg

Good in the fridge for later or in the freezer to turn into an ice-cream sandwich.

Enjoy!

Snickerdoodle Apple-Cinnamon cake:

Entire cake is 860 calories
8g fat, 115g carbs, 88g protein

This recipe also works for muffins/cupcakes and is the perfect size for 12, at about 72 calories each.

Ingredients:
2 scoops Snickerdoodle Select Protein
1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/2 cup egg whites
1/3 cup greek yogurt
1 cup whole wheat flour (almond will work for a gluten free version)
7g stevia
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
Dash of salt
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp + 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl mix all dry ingredients.
Mix all wet ingredients separately then add to dry . Mix all together well with a mixer on medium.

Pour into cooking-spray coated baking dish. Use a 9" round or as mine was being used I used an 8x8 without issue.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. The inside/top may be slightly soft/jiggly still, leave it to set in a warm oven or at room temp.

Quite a good size cake for the calories!

image-2826902119.jpg

Honestly delicious as it is but if you want to top it go for it. I used a maple cream frosting.

PB lean = Powdered Peanut Butter (this was german chocolate cake flavored to compliment the chocolate in the whey and the cocoa powder) from My Oatmeal, you could use Pb2 instead. its not a nut butter.
