Don't despair Easy, fat calipers are notoriously inaccurate. I'd take an average of about 3-4 measures at each point and then do it again if I really wanted an accurate measure. I'm sure that you're body isn't just dumping muscle and hanging on to fat, not with you working out this hard. Just give it another week or two at your current calorie reduction and take the measurements again. See what happens, I had a PT take my measurements once and he told me I had 18% bf...then he scratched his head and looked me up and down. There was no way I was that high, but according to his measurements I was, thats why I won't trust anything other than the mirror or the water immersion test. :thumbsup:

im applying as well and have already passed the writen and psych tests i go in for my physical aptitude test (PAT) later this month. but i dont know if they drug test then and im pretty sure they DO test for roids but i dont know if they do it at the same time as the PAT or after the background check that follows if you pass the PAT, reasoning on costs id think theyd not drug test till after the background check....

anyone know how long DBOL from M14ADD or bold from 14ad would saty in your body??? what about tren from M-trn or Finigenx? either way i havnt taken ANYTHING since like july or august so I HOPE im in the clear.....

they only poly for sherrifs or police not peace officers.

He's OK then. I thought they did a poly too. If you have the bottles and it's legal supp - though it may show as AAS - can't they OK it anyway?

Yeah, I really believe i'm around 19ish %. I remeasured and put it in a calculator myself and thats what I got, and now I am much more cautious about how I caliper :) who knows really, just makes it much harder to determine where my goal really is if I can't tell where I am today. I know I have a distance to go regardless, but i'm less sure whether to concentrate on fat loss or muscle gain if I can't be as sure of fat level.

If i'm nearing 15%, I'm content to work on muscle gain as a clean slightly over maintenance recomp. If I'm over 20, I need to continue to work on fat loss first
 
Understandable E. I'd recommend just sticking to your original game plan for this cycle and then remeasuring at the end. See where you need to go from there. I'd be hesitant to change things up without seeing if they're working yet (although I rarely follow my own advice as I have a short attention span when it comes to workout plans and especially bulk/cut phases).
 
me too :) but I think 3-4 weeks is reasonable to see where its headed. My original game plan for this cycle was expecting it to start at around 160lbs of LBM and 199 total, so right around 19-20% bf, and being able to use the 8 weeks to get down about 1% a week to see in the 12-14 range, by about a 50/50 fat loss muscle gain. If i'm starting at 23% tho, thats almost half the cycle "off". hard to say tho, i'm already down to 194 as of today.

plus I could be retaining water from all the TTA too, so that could throw it off. I was planning on it lasting the cycle, and stopping for PCT, so I can't tell about that part till maybe 2 weeks into PCT.

Let me ask you a question E...if the caliper says 20% but you "LOOK" ripped, would you care? No right? I wouldn't.

Use the calipers to check progress, but use your eye to decide when you want to stop cutting. Just my $0.02.
 
I think the combo of some water retention plus carrying more of my fat around the spare tire and chest is what is throwing the calipers off. I'm starting to see good definition on my arms and calves, and beginning to see some on my thighs. I'm pretty sure i'll ride the cut down to uper 180s, then go recomp. hopefully that happens sooner in the 8 weeks rather than later. If today's 194 is "real" I could see that by end of week 3 (we are only 10 days in now, down 5 lbs), and raise cals for the remainder. I think I'm going to remove some fat and carbs from current diet, and sub in more protein as well, move the macros to more like 60/20/20 and hit 300+g of protein a day too
 
some top round steaks in that same sauce coming soon to a mouth near me. not sure what to have with it tho. I have had almost nothing for carbs so far either. I guess I could make steak sandwiches.

This chick could have been Jamie Eason's cousin (but with long brown hair). She was almost as defined, just as hot, but with brown hair halfway down her back...with the biggest set of...

*sigh* I couldn't even concentrate for the first 10 minutes, she was just that hot...and she did enough volume to kill a steroid injecting body builder. Wow...thats all I can say right now, is wow. I hope she keeps working out during lunch. That would give me something to drool over while I workout and maybe even motivate me a little more.

I almost forgot, she was wearing PAINTED ON tight black pants and a sports bra...that is all

You guys want to help me hash out my new supplement regime starting at the beginning of the new year?

I picked up bulk Forslean, bulk Beta-Alanine, and bulk Cissus to go with my normal multi/fish oil.

I was thinking starting for the first week or two at 25mg Forslean (125mg bulk powder) then working up to 50-75mg/day for the remainder of the 3 month plan. I'm not sure how much BA to take, as I've read a bunch of different things. I was thinking 1.5-2g pre and 1.5-2g post workout? And then start the Cissus one month into the plan.

So the idea is to have a 3 month "cycle" although none of this is steroidal, I want to recomp hard. I'd like to drop a couple of % points of bodyfat while gaining a few lbs of lean bodymass. I'm currently at 180lbs ~14% bf...it'd be sweet for this combo to take me to 180-185 ~11-12% bf, which would put me in a perfect place to cut the last few % of bf for summer.
 
Thats the hope Easy, I figure if I can run it for 12 weeks, along with the benefits from Beta-Alanine and Cissus/Fish Oil to keep my joints in good health, then baring any unforseen circumstances I can replace 8-9lbs of fat, with 8-9lbs of muscle. Thats my ultimate goal. To retain the 180lb bodyweight while significantly leaning out and gaining size. We'll just have to see how it works out.
 
seems pretty reasonable. if $ doesn't interfere, running it as high as 100mg a day after tapering up seems reasonable, and should help even more
 
my freezer in the garage is like a cornucopia of seafood. Right now there is flounder, alaskan salmon (raw and precooked), halibut, tilapia, scallops and octopus, maybe one or two others. i've got an 18 cubic foot freezer (medium fridge size) in the garage :D

oh man if only everyone would cut back on soda if not eliminate it altogether. Makes a huge difference.

in my case when i stoped drinking POP it wasnt so much for the fatloss since i was a stick BUT i did notice an increase in endurance, I FELT WAAAY BETTER, and i was able to get rid of a bunch of empty cals and replace them with something my body could use to make muscle and started gaining much quicker. now if i have an occasional pop it hurts my stomach and makes me feel like crap within minutes, all that carbonation and sugar is horrible for you.

was there a particular reason why you still went green from gold, was it done without your input or is it the way AN wanted it???

cause if you look around a lil youll see plenty of reps with gold tags still, me and neo and LMD were all still gold..... i think trip is too and a few others.... maybe hit up a mod if it wasnt an AN requirement...
