While the Boss is Away.....Part Deux!

In addendum, if Mitt Romney could have stuck in the race, and picked up Cunnilingus Rice as VP, and then swung past Idaho and got Senator Craig for Secretary, he'd get about 98% of the votes.

The 'right wing vote'
The 'black vote'
The 'woman vote'
The 'philandering homosexual vote'
The 'I'm not a homosexual, I've never been a homosexual vote'

I'm sure there's more, but it woulda been SWEEEEEET

If you take condi, and put her head on huckabee's body as a second head, and had them be mccain's vp candidate, they'll get 100% voter turnout, and 100% of the vote :)

Yes. I also mock the ignorance I encounter often. Most people don't know where they came from here. You'd think the Earth was in the shape of the state of Utah, and everything else beyond the boarders was folklore.

They really do live differently there, especially in the provo area where the population is 90% LDS. I dont think its your typical ignorance for most of the adults, its chosen, but as its passed onto their children it tends to be as though they dont have a clue whats going on in the world around them. I can find both good and bad things about this.... but for someone in your position I can definately see how it would be frustating.

BTW i am a fairly strong beliver but currently not practicing.

I've found that its demographic, and not the majority religious belief at all.

The education system sucks because a most of the couples here insist on pumping out 6+ kids. So, Captain Obvious states that Utah is dead last on state money for education PER CHILD and has the highest child/teacher ratios in the US. NO ****?

So, rather than tell people to chill out on having kids, the education just suffers.

Most never ask "why" or "how" about things they just accept it. Utah is the "Overseas You Won A Foreign Lottery Scam" capitol of the world from what I've heard.

And the Utah accent...OMG...I almost can't understand it and I've lived here my entire life. Its a sort of slack jawed lazy drawl.

For example.

E-Mail is pronounced "aye-mell"
But the word 'meal' is pronounced 'mell' also.
If someone were to win $1,000,000 they would tell you they won 'uh mellee-yun dullerz'

Hard T's as in mounTain don't exist. Its pronounced "muh-uhn"

I'm getting more and more pissed the more I type, so I'm going to lock up and go home now.

Packenwood is the one on the far left at the back...the one "who planted the seeds"...in his "wives"...

LMAO ya the accent is something else.

sad thing is they dont even pay the teachers all that well either for having to deal with the demand, I'm sure thats another reason why the teacher child ratio is so outta whack.

My sister just graduated BYU and this is her first year teaching just outside of Lehi..... She is already looking up jobs here in Southern California where I live and we grew up, lol. They dont pay crap there compared to California. Now you want to talk about a child teacher ratio problem its here too... just not from the inside population, mostly from all the children of illegal immigrants and no one wanting to put up with the crazy kids here round LA.

LOL I love the misinformed... or maybe just a joke, but either way the issue is far from paligamy as its illegal and is only practiced by a bunch of schmucks in the rural towns closer to the mid and south of utah that arent payed much attention to. The problem is with litterally 2 parent housholds (man and wife, not wives) that have 6-14 children. I seriously know a family with 14 kids, each popped out just over a year from the last.... sometimes less. but 8 children is very common and a family of 3 or 4 is considered small.

Hint: it was a joke :p

I live in TX....bible belt....bleh... dont even get me started on that. Most people here are cool, others, "not so much" (in the style of borat).

Seriously though, 14 kids, damn, someone needs to keep his pants on.

I had 2 different neighbors growing up that had 10 kids each.

20 ****ing kids all RIGHT HERE! I never liked any of them.

Teaching outside Lehi? Hell, there ain't much there except Moroni and Price is there? Maybe Fillmore or even Beaver. Last time I was out that way was to go to the dunes outside Delta about 5 years ago. I did drive to Dumont before that, and Central Utah is pretty much just fields (or 'felds' as the locals call them).

I live closer to Idaho than anything. Kinda between Wyoming and Idaho. Its all the same really.
Growing up non-Mormon wasn't easy. They don't take no for an answer on the whole "have you ever considered...." questions lol

I don't ever get pissed. I just tell them I'm not interested in religion but if they want to just talk I'm ok with that.
I use that line of all of them. We get a high influx of Jehovas Witnesses and a recent surge of Baptists. The Baptist churches from what I understand don't give a **** what you are. Just come in, and sit if you want. Its all chill. My girl was raised Catholic, but when she wants to go to a church she goes to a Baptist church and just sits for a while.

In addendum, I get to go to another funeral this saturday. Oh boy.

THEN its on! Gonna re-start my Epi+Phera cycle by ramping up my Epi. I think I beat this flu thing. I talked with my new real estate agent today, and both she and her boyfriend came down with the same ****, on the same day as I did. WTF
I don't remember even being near anyone sickly, and I felt great sunday night as I went to sleep. Woke up monday at 5am with a sore throat and a runny nose.

Slight cough, and my nose is more stuffy, but less congestion.
You'd figure by now these viruii and bacterium would have learned that they aren't going to kill me so they might as well just stop mutating and leave me the hell alone.

So we're starting to interview au pair candidates. if you don't know, its basically a live in nanny, they get a specialized visa to come to the us, and you pay them a pretty low wage, but provide them room + board.

The one I was talking to yesterday is canadian. Shes 20, a redhead, and looks a bit like avril levigne. Had emailed back and forth, found out she used msn messenger, started to chat with her there. Her avatar pic there was her in a tight dress mostly showing cleavage. It was all I could do not to type

"I want to **** **** you in the ***. with a spatula"

thankfully, she is 20, and that has been verified by an outside agency

Sounds like I need to interview Canadian Au Pairs to help take care of the ol' Packenwood kid.

I'm going to have to ask you a few questions here. Now, you say you have 3 years experience being a live in nanny correct?

I'd really like to blank your blank and stick my blank all the way down your blank until I fill your blank with blank. I wanna blank you so hard that you choke on my blank.

I did Packenwood BB curls today...I've now come to realize what I've been missing. I am now jealous. :stick:

After I warm up with my db curls, I go straight to the packenwood curls.

Just to be an ass, I put the bar at the bottom of the cage and do packenwood pushups. Then alternate packenwood presses to work the triceps again. Not full reps, just kind of pump them until they feel like falling off.

I like how its not only highlighted in yellow, but circled as well so I don't miss the funny.

I think the people that find those, don't realize that if they are truly funny, we'll see it.

That one, however is REALLY funny.

what you mean you guys dont spend an hour or 3 getting ready to go to wally world?

SHIIII I sport my new hair cut, pop my collar and when the front door person greets me I tell him "Not now cheif I'm in the fawkin ZONE!"

it's because I generally hear it at:
6am when I would still want to sleep a little longer
or at 11pm when I'm trying to get to bed

maybe I caught a break today

I never went to college. If I would have I'd have been an engineer. But, since my parents already had a business I was familiar with I jumped into it. I have a little more control over my work than my buddies that have 'real' jobs but then again I have 100x the responsibility, such as, I'm the one that sweeps the floors to depositing the checks. If something goes wrong.....its my fault. That part sucks.

Somedays I wish I could have went to college and got a normal job, but if I would have, my parents would be on some hard times right now.

How Cool Were You In High School, Skanks?

This is a pretty cool test, check it out. This test is based on how cool you were in High School--what crowd you ran with, etc., it's pretty accurate.
