Ever seen someone strap on a lifting belt for some bodyweight calf raises?
I have.
umm I don't put on a lifting belt for any calf raises, even at 380lbs. maybe i should. BP, check out today's leg day in my log

Excellent post.
And granted I don't know the situation first hand. All I know is what I went through, and I swore I'd never go through that again.
2 years after I got kicked out, I've put on 40 lbs. Looking back on it, she was making sure I was malnourished and broke. We never had money for food, but she always had 'her' money for supplements. I was 6'2" (as I am still) and 180lbs. No gains in the gym, no gains in life it was like I was in prison. My weight jumped 15 lbs, and I actually got leaner. It was so quick that people were asking me what I did. I would tell them I lost 135 lbs.
Now here I am with one income, I'm able to have a new truck, look for a new house, I'll be supporting my girlfriend and a new baby, along with a hungry chocolate lab and a cat.
Pretty obvious I was in the dark where my money was going.
I guess in the end what matters most is that everyone is happy-ish. Compromise is difficult but necessary.
so have you ever taken 10mg superdrol preworkout, then about 3.5 hours later gotten to taking a second 10mg postworkout only to accidentally take 2 and realize it oh say 20-30 seconds after you swallow? and then have to live with the "i'm ready for a nap" lethargy the next 5 hours?
I wouldn't say its like that for me. She is concerned with my health, as apparently she wants me to stick around long-term. And it would probably be better for me to achieve 185-190 without aid this time, as I'll most likely keep it that way. I'm just impatient, which is never a good reason to result to anabolic compounds. So for now, I'll continue as I have and see where I'm at in six months.
How did you dose yours? for me 12.5 mg in a 5 hour span doesn't give me noticeable lethargy, but getting over that does. of course, empty stomach or only shakes vs solid foods makes a difference too
I'm working skankages! No time for this stuff...OK, maybe a little time. Ahh, I miss the old days.
For the record, TF, you may not be a jerk but you seem to play one on the internets! Maybe you just have an odd sense of humor...is that YOU XJ incognito?
:afro:
...I'm a big pattern recognition person (hence programming as my career) so i'm pretty sure it isn't him
Easy,
smeton's and my dosing protocols as following:
Training Days - Split doses around workouts (pre and post)
Non-Training Days - spread out 2-3 hours (8 hour day)
Cheers

ah so smeton stays all natural about 20 hours workout days, and 16 non workout. Pretty good ratios.

just take your "creatine" and youll be fine. That magic word has saved me from multiple possibly complicated or annoying situations with people asking what Im taking either from close persons or schmucks in the gym that are way to far from ever needing something like what I actually take.

nice work, how did that feel compared to your previous "leg" day?
I don't think you need to go real heavy on the DB deadlift.
It's not as much a power move as the BB version.
After my squatting today, I was just doing 52.5lb DBs at a slow, rhythmic pace for 20 reps and then a 20 reps dropset to 30lbers.

I feel like i've wasted all my leg days to date. Well, I started to feel that last leg day, when I maxed out the v-squat machine. The highest i've gone on leg presses previous I believe was 250? maybe 280? for 2 sets of 10. I think I could probably get a 1RM over 600.
I need to read up on PRRS style training.
Yeah, the 60s felt decent at low rep range, I could easily do the 50s for 12-15 I think.
thewoman,
am I jerk because I do not fall in line and do not tell people what I think they want to hear? How does this help anyone?
I may speak brusquely; however, my intentions are to light the spark that turns on the proverbial light bulb, so that the person in subject may have a paradigm shift.
Cheers

P.S.
Aren't all our user names incognito of who we really are? (Turns on light bulb regarding my cantankerous online persona)
P.S.S.
For the slower members of this thread: Zombie, Nabisco, PuffyNips, etc... No, I am not this XJ you speak of, and rather insulted you compare me to a poser.
Wil, I'll change my signature quote if you change yours.
OK...you first...
Did it work?![]()
That first quote is good advice.
Sometimes I think I'm trying to be too many things at the same time, though.

SKanKS!
I just felt like we were missing out...now we're back on track.
Us is we of course
Us is we of course
TF,
Your communication style or lack thereof is rude and abrasive. I assume that you use a bit more tact in the "real world".
And XJ is no "poser" : D
And, btw, it's P.P.S
thewoman
:chick:
Given that in common use "we" spoken frequently applies to all who are in earshot, I suppose that on the internet it could mean anyone with a connection to the internet.
LOL that was fairly entertaining... im mormon though so Im glad they didnt rip on him bout it instead made a fairly funny joke.... does this mean im MORE-MAN too??? Id like to think so![]()
Hey I didn't know you were Mormon!
