I know Malverne well. NYC is always a fun trip, I am there at least 2-3 times a year, taking my students on trips.

LI is an interesting place, there are some very pretty parts, however the overcrowding, price and attitude are a bit much
 
I figured since I was awake early I would go in and do my normal friday arms/cardio. Just got back. It went better than I thought.

I weighed in fully dressed at 212. That is a low for me that I have not hit in years. Woo hooo

Feeling good. Just eating right now, will hit the gym at my mothers place tomorrow. Most likely just cardio, but hey the senior citizen set there might have some weights, if so I will modify my shoulder routine to match what I have in fron tof me, since I will have the morning to myself.
 
I am here on Long Island. It is odd using a computer with dial up. I went and took a look at the gym here, and I will be able to modify my shoulder routine for tomorrow. Will be predominantly shrugs, upright rows and lighter weight laterals of all kinds and angles. WIll not be able to do a pressing movement, but that is ok as I worked on it on Wednesday.

Also, I recommended the GH to my mother who, shall we say has had her share of stomach issues through the years.

rear peck deck (5 sets) 70lbs
cable upright rows (5 sets) 110lbs
cable shrugs (5 sets) 210lbs
side laterals standing (5 sets) 25lbs (largest db they had)
standing machine press (5 sets) 130lbs
seated side laterals (4 sets) 25lbs

cardio:
30 minutes 15% 4.0-6.0mph

abs:
100 rope crunches middle and each side 40lbs

The weights seemd off to me and slightly different, but I got a good sweat going and felt good.

We just got back to Pa, and luckily had no traffic coming home. Only 2.5 hours which is good considering. Will be hitting the gym this afternoon, but I forgot how tired you get sitting in a car doing nothing
 
got back to my gym today and happy indeed. Breaking in a new pair of running shoes which is a big deal for me as I have terribly flat feet. I bought a pair of New Balance, based on podiatrist recommendations, and they felt great

Cardio:
32 minutes 15% 4.4-70mph. Yes I tried the 7.0 and you never realize how fast that is till your up there. Feet felt good though

Legs:
Squat (5 sets) 185lbs (went light and high rep)
Standing Calf Raises (5 sets) 140lbs 25+ reps per set
Front Squat (5 sets) 115lbs
Seated calf raises (5 sets) 130lbs 25+ reps

Felt good to be back, even though I only missed 1 day at my gym. Will be back to doubling up tomorrow. Also, I was reading UNC's log on these same supps and I noticed something similar. I never had an acne problem, but my skin is extra "clear" not even a tiny blemish (now watch, I wake up tomorrow like a prepubescent boy)
 
alittle side note, I realized that even after hitting legs pretty hard (for me) yesterday,i am not the least bit sore this am. The only thing I can attribute this to is NoX.
 
had a very nice chest workout today. kept the weight lighter with higher rep ranges again

chest:

feel very good. I was concerned about weighing in this am as I did not eat that well over the weekend, my mother wnet crazy cooking and baking for us. However, I was 213lbs fully dressed, so I was very pleased

just got back from tuesday morning cardio.

45 minutes 15% 4.4-6.5 sweating like an absolute pig. Really starting to physically see the results of the cut, not just on the scale. Mid section is becoming nice and lean

I've noticed the same thing. Previous to this stack, normally I'd go at random times throughout the day but now it's like clockwork - 1st thing after I awake. :toilet:

Also, for one of the RPN crew, my sister just started her GH last night and woke up queezy. Is that a "normal" feeling?

Queasy we have not heard before, and it shouldn't have anything to do with gut health.

How bad are her "issues", and what are they again? I will see what I can find as far as symptoms from the initial attack doses displacing her normal state.

she has a severe gluten allergy. She said that she woke up around 2amish and was a bit queesy as well as a slight burn in her stomach. She did tell me she took the GH with her other vitamins simultaneously, which she will not do tonight. Culd that have been the problem?

absolutely....b vitamins on an empty stomach are notorious for causing nausea and queasiness.
 
Will be heading back for more cardio later, however I am going to watch my 7 year old nephew have only his 3rd full contact/pads football practice. He is going crazy that I am going as I used to play and was a HS coach. Once practice is over, its off for more cardio
 
sadlyh didnt get back to the gym, I was at my nephews practice for a while. It was worth it though, he was like aheat seeking missle out there. Its funny at 7 years old and 50+ lbs, he just loves the contact, and he was always looking for my approval after he hit someone.

Funniest thing was, they were running drills so the kids would understand what hole to run through, and there is my nephew who is out of the play, deciding he needed contact and he lays into someone because he was too bored watching. Loved it

the sweating is a bit disturbing. I had to run and pick up some food for dinner tonight, and people were staring at me in the market as I looked like I just got out of a pool.

Other notes:
stomach feels amazing. no bloat, no anything to be concenred with. Also, regarding the NoX, no soreness anywhere which is fantastic, and vascualrity is becoming very apparent.

finally, and yes I am rambling, I spoke with my sister and based on dsade's suggestion, she took her vitamins with dinner, then the GH alone last night and was fine.

Yeah, any type of multivitamin on an empty stomach can cause gastric distress/nausea.

Is she fairly complient with her gluten free diet?

she sticks to the diet very strictly. the few times she does not, she is an absolute mess. I am waiting to here from her today to see how the night went.

Also, my mother ordered some GH last night. She also has major stomach issues, which for her are more stress related than anything else. Spreading it throughout the family

had a different style of arm workout today. I have to say the veins were everywhere, which I am thrilled about.

2arm reverse grip pulldowns (5 sets) 70lbs

Skull crushers (5 sets) 115-120lbs
Hammer curls (5 sets) 40lbs

Standing alternating curls (9 sets) superset with 3 weights 35lbs, 20lbs, 10lbs Burned like hell

1arm machine preacher (5 sets) 35-55lbs

reverse forearm curls (6 sets) 135-185lbs this got the veins out like crazy

Cardio:
35 minutes 15% 4.4-6.6mph

Feeling great, very lean for me!!!

As a side I spoke with both family members, my mother ordered last night, and my sister is continuing the loading phase and feels good, no bloat but gassy, which I explained is normal.

I am thrilled with how the cut is working. I am going to weigh in again tomorrow. I know there is a lot of water weight coming off, but my strength is still where it is normally even with the weight decrease

I'm wondering myself if probiotics themselves can really decrease the incidence of food allergies in some individuals. I've read some studies that seem to suggest the theory, however many more evidence based studies need to be done.


I'm really looking forward to her results. If she could log her diet (if at all) along with her supplementation, that would be AWESOME. :D

Just a thought......in the name of science! :lol:
 
What did you eat?
for dinner I had one of those preroated roaster chickens. Within 20-30 minutes I couldnt run fast enough. For lunch I had eggs, and as a mid afternoon snack and apple with natty pb. Nothing out of the ordinary
 
going to be headed out to the gym in a few minutes for fasted cardio. I decided to lift this afternoon.

Also, just finished my dreaded ab work. 500 crunches all sides on the ab roller. I will take tomorrow off from abs as it will be leg day, and I do not want to have any soreness in the core

Will head back this afternoon for lifting and another cardio session. Feeling better this am. Stomach feels fine, and was surprisingly energetic
