4 eggs
6 slices bacon
2 cups of granola in a cup of half and half
2 cups of coffee with 2 cups of half and half
calories : 2000 i'm guessing, though i tend to undercount my calories.

I usually have the first half of my 1200 cal homemade gainer shake. Then I hit the gym and have the second half post-workout.

Right now, a whey protein shake when I wake up.

Breakfast #2
--6-8oz chicken breast
--Veggies or Rice(white)
--Multivitamin
--Whole Wheat bread with honey on days with veggies

I'm military deployed, so my options are limited. I'm doing the best i can eating here. The military tries to promote a "fit force", but serve hamburgers, hot dogs, fried this and fried that, ice cream, cookies, you get the idea.

I hear you on that bro. I'm currently deployed too.

Shake:

1 cup oats
2 whole eggs (raw) :D
1 banana
2 scoops protein blend (vanilla)
1/2 cup cottage cheese
2 tablespoons psyllium fiber
3 teaspoons powdered greens
1 cup water

Trick is to add oats & eggs in blender first. The eggs suspend the oats enough to allow a thick paste to form. Then I add protein powder & water - blend again. The remainder then gets added, blended & forms a nice thick delicious shake.

My favorite meal of the day!

I'm asian, so I'm gonna say what I ate today for breakfast.

Pho haha. around 6oz serving of flank steak with the soup, and rice noodles. Dunno calories, but it was good.

I believe it's another source of a complete protein (the bread that is), similar to that found in dairy I think is what the label says lol

Bread made from whole sprouted grains vs. flour. Good stuff. Low GI.

Today's breakfast:
4 eggs (2 whole, 2 whites)
6 oz turkey sausage
10 oz red potatoes
1 Tbsp EVOO
1/4 C cheese
3 Tsp salsa
3 rings of pineapple

(cutting)
8 egg whites (kirkland/costco)
1 whole egg
some good salsa or pico
1 cup organic thick cut oats
few berries
maybe some tomato slices from the garden while they're in season!

When trying to gain weight:

3 whole eggs
1c cereal/oatmeal
2c skim milk
1pc whole wheat toast
2tbs natty PB
Fruit (usually strawberries and blueberries)
1 scoop protein

When trying to lose weight:

Same as above except only 2 egss and no toast w/ PB

For some reason, I never get tired of that combo.

Holy Crap I have to make better Breakfasts. No wonder I'm lagging.

Is everyone here a hard gainer? Or am I eating wrong?

Trying to lose 2-3 pounds per week, so I've been eating a variant of one of three:
1. 3 eggs, 2 pieces of toast without butter
2. Protein shake
3. Oatmeal or high-fiber cereal with 1 scoop of protein powder mixed in

Trying to recomp:

-2 Scoops of Whey Protein
-1 Serving of Oldstyle Oatmeal
-1 Animal PAK
-2 Servings of Fish Oil
-2 Glasses of Water

When did a beer company start to make breakfast food. :joke: :slaphappy:

WarcraftJJS:

LoL it's a locally made oatmeal, very cheap, like oatmeal's not cheap enough in general but I am a cheap ass haha....

Rodja:

I usually add in some type of simple carb to my morning meal (i.e. apples, oranges, etc.) and eat them in my oatmeal . I didn't actually do that today, bit of a rush to the office lol. The above list was just my meal today, usually I switch up my protein sources in the morning with either a shake, egg whites, whole eggs, or even occasionally some type of Kashi cereal.

Good Advice though bro. I've noticed that since I've been trying this recomp that fruits and vegetables have been helping me lean out a bit more and my vascularity has been improving (especially in my arms).

Best,
WB

Pasta in the morning??? Crikey mate I think my stomach would do a :wtf1: if that combo hit it at 6.00am!

For me it's always a bowl of oatey goodness :D

1 cup of porridge oats (dry)
2 Scoops of whey protein (strawberry/raspberry)
30g Dessicated Coconut/1 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 grapefruit

...and a handful of various pills...

I should eat more eggs really, I just always forget to cook them up.

Wow, I've been pretty low on my breakfast compared to you guys. I have

1 serving of oatmeal
sliced strawberries
protein powder 1 scoop in water
1 enjoy life coco loco bar which has 3.5 g fat, 1g sat fat, 22g carbs, 2g dietary fiber, 9g sugar, 2g protein

I like the coco bar because it's mostly make up of brown rice and thats my
morning carbs. I really should eat some eggs more in the morning. Everyday
I hard boil 3 eggs and eat one late AM, one with lunch, and one on the way home from work. Not enough, huh?
