On page 1 you talk about something new that your company is working on, and then on page 7 you claim that you are not trying to hype the coming product. Why post anything in the first place, then, if the product will "sell itself"?
I just think the best policy would be to go "all or nothing" with regards to product announcements. Say nothing or just say everything. This DOES just serve to hype things.
Of course, you can do what you're being paid to do and that's fine. But trying to say that it isn't marketing hype is just transparent. I used to be a rep for a very well-known fruit company that happens to make computers.

Believe me, I know a thing or two about real marketing machines...
