What’s something good for running?

Anyone who likes to lift and run have a favorite supplement they recommend? Pre, recovery, or energy wise? Maybe something that would help with knee and hip pain. I take fish oil daily but curious to know if there’s anything else that you can suggest for avid runners.

For cardio/ running you can get a long way with 5-10mg yohimbine hcl (raises blood pressure, energy, increases fat loss) stacked with 600mg coenzyme 10 (protects heart from overload- gives energy). Take it with a small cup of espresso along with 1ml of ground cayenne pepper like 30-40 min pre workout. Make sure not to drink a lot of water right before training. you'll have a lot of endurance/stamina. Yohimbine stacked with cardarine could also work.

For knee or hip pain I'm not sure. Taurin is good. Knee pain is usually best treated with a standard dose of NSAID otc which can be taken in the morning or in the evening. Don't need the opiods for knee pain :) (unless you wanna see rapid decline in testosterone ofc)

I lift/box/run. That's pretty much how I train.
I would not rely on any kind of pain pills for your knees and hips. I would instead work on strength and mobility for that. Finding a good low impact stride when running will help.

If you lift and run with high intensity I'd avoid stims, yohimbine mentioned above is good if you can tolerate it but it only works as a fat burner if you are fasted. Literally all the fat loss from yohimbine requires you take it fasted and do fasted cardio. I cant use yohimbine at more then 2mg or I feel horrible as do many but some ppl can tolerate it very well in much higher doses.

My favorite endurance supp is injectable carnatine.

Carderine is a good one as well, I'm a rep for maresearch and we sell carderine if your interested. My screen name is 15% off store wide

For lifting and strenght btw - if not for energy - I'm having good sucesss with prohormones diendione + topical 4-dhea.
strenght increased rapidly fast from nowhere. and no side effects like lethargy, dark urine, or feeling bloated or heavy. no strain on the liver or the kidneys either. no hair loss. all good. just wish It would help me eat more. i think im getting more lean.

Not sure how you feel about TD's, but: XPG Curcuprime Gel + L-Carnitine Gel would be solid options to look into. Curcruprime is great for pain relief, added bonus that you can apply it directly to a spot thats hurting. Endurance boost I've noticed from the carnitine gel is awesome, so thats something that would probably help out with the running.

Joint Support XT is great for joint pain and mobility. There's a lot of positive feedback on here for it and most people can tell a difference within the first week to 2 weeks.

L-Carnitine Gel is great for endurance. You can see some feedback on it in this thread:

For maximum performance and recovery, Muscle Addiction Recovery Fix is a really good product that helps with muscle recovery and muscle aches and pains. It doesn't get talked about a lot here on AM, but is very popular with endurance athletes and people who play very cardio and endurance intensive sports where there is a need to be able to train harder, longer, and more intensely and recover better.

I'm also tagging @Resolve10 because he does a lot of endurance training and always has great insights.

Here's the supplement facts for Recovery Fix.

I think a product with Senactiv could be good. Think SNS may have a solo product coming out soon

Agreed. Senactiv is great for endurance. We hope to have Senactiv XT out in the next couple of months and will be coming out with a couple of other products that are specifically endurance related.

I had posted a reply about Recovery Fix at the same time you posted yours and that's one thing I really like about that product is that it has Senactiv in it.

A nice fat bowl of some dank OG kush … I smoke it before hooping with guys half my age … it unlocks cheat mode if you can handle the potency

Never heard of this ingredient till today, a few google searches and this stuff sounds super interesting from so many angles.

It's a very interesting ingredient. It has a lot of athletic and longevity properties. You could think of it as a longevity product for athletes and people with an active lifestyle.

We were one of the first companies to use it in products years ago, and there has been so much more research on it since then. When we first started using it, it was known as ActiGin (not to be confused as AstraGin), and we were one of the first companies to use it when we used it in Anabolic Effect and VasoForce XT and VasoForce Rush.

It's still in those formulas and we use it now in Pepti-Plex, Phosphatidic Acid XT, and Recovery Fix and will be using it in all 3 of the endurance products that we are going to be coming out with and are going to be doing a Senactiv XT product that should be out in the next couple of months.

This too I’ve done before runs. It gives you that extra pep in your step if you know what I mean ;)

Creatine HCL by concrete or MCC by SNS , Evomuse BMP ( ran it once before liked it a lot) & Evomuse Slintensity ( post workout ),XPG gels FL7.

I just picked up 2x bottles PA by SNS, 2x BMP evomuse, 2x Dermacrine by Iconic Formulation ,3x XIKT by iron legion & 2x Mitoburn by SNS. This is what I’ll be running starting next week

You like BMP pretty good? I was about to buy me a bottle and try it out.

Yes I did it a while ago felt good. Good strength gains. Nothing crazy it is a natty supplement good energy I just felt tighter but I also kept a very good diet and I train consistent. I ain’t picky with how I spend my money and if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t have bought it again that’s for sure. I’d try two bottles though. Seems most stuff is most effective after 2 bottles atleast 2 bottles

My wife loves rhodiola rosea (especially Gaia brand) for her breathing while doing cardio. It makes a significant difference in her performance. Citrulline malate helps keep the energy in her muscles for longer distances. Wish I knew about this combo when I was in the military.

You may want to stock up on some bottles for her if she really likes it. There are things going on with Rhodiola and pricing is going to go through the roof on it. Raws that were less than 20 a kg. sold out at over 100.00 per kg.

Not gonna derail this thread talking about it. If you want to discuss more, you can ask in the Tell Us What You Want from us thread that serves as a Q&A thread.

I went from couch to Ultra Marathon(50k) in 8 weeks culminating on my 40th bday with ZERO lifetime running training beyond what I did for football and wrestling. I used the following:

Beta-alanine SNS
Peak O2 SNS
Resveratrol Hi-tech
Tyrosine NutraBio
CoQ10 Source Naturals
Helios Apex
PhytoCaine Apex
Topical MSM/Glucosamine/Arnica Now Foods
J-Flex The Lab
Occasional ephedrine hcl 12.5mg
Coffee
Electrolytes (Core Nutritionals Hydrate)
MCT oil in my coffee
High protein, high fat, low carb<50g/day, no refeeds.

I did eat some gummies D8/cbd about 30k mark on the 50K day and DID eat some Jacked factory Bars during the run, about 1 bar every 1.5 hours and used 2 sticks of the Core electrolytes per hour as well. I was SLOW but finished that sucker by myself in our neighborhood that is 1km X 1.5km, in January. It was a nice clear day with no snow.

For me I find avoiding anything that increases pumps is a good idea when running, I don't want ANY additional pumps in my legs.
