You are NOT throwing your money away - if you don’t move on this, you have stated you won’t get the place. But you have determined that this is what’s best for your family’s wellbeing, all things considered. Also on another note. I have been a lot more stressed this week. We are out of room in the place we rent. Are lease is up in December. We have found the place we want to rent for the remaining year we plan on staying here. Trouble is I have to lease it next month. That is going to be a double whammy paying the deposit and rent on 2 places for 2 months. Not the end of the world financial wise it just sucks because it’s like throwing money away but the drawbacks of renting and leases.
The good news is rent prices have dropped substantially so its a lot more budget friendly.
Very good points, and after some negotiation back and forth today we ended up signing. Move in day negotiation for November 18th.You are NOT throwing your money away - if you don’t move on this, you have stated you won’t get the place. But you have determined that this is what’s best for your family’s wellbeing, all things considered.
So reframe it: this is an INVESTMENT in securing ideal living conditions for the next year for your family.
You’re doing what needs to be done, Dad - and sometimes that’s going to be the tough thing

This is a big deal for me. I’m really excited and proud that I have broke past 210. It has been a journey but I’m very excited to have hit and past that milestone.
He’s going under 200!Congrats man! Always a great feeling when you achieve a long term goal you've set for yourself. Be proud, your discipline is paying off!

Moving can be so exciting, new digs, etc, but man............ i never want to move again, lol. Also on another note. I have been a lot more stressed this week. We are out of room in the place we rent. Seems like your work with Chris has really kicked things up a notch? You have done really well in here for a long time, but man it seems like you've been on fire lately.
remind me how tall you are?
Gee 250 calories, what a furnacedang 6'1" and 190lbs should be pretty dang lean!
I have a buddy in his 50s, ex baseball player, who is 6'2" and he eats an egg with a glass of chocolate milk every single night to try to keep from dropping under 170lbs lol I've only been under 170 twice in my life, high school wrestling, and like 15 years ago when I cut waaay too far to 168.
I watched that, pretty wild I like Big Mike's training stuff but him picking on such a little guy compared to himself. Like he threatened that one taller guy last year at am expo, told him he would take him out in back and beat him. The guy jumped at the chance. Told him c'mon man, lets go outside. Let's do this, take a lunch break and let;s go. Mike didn't move... This time a 5'6 guy who is completely unsuspecting you attack... Weak sauce. I know Jeff pressed charges and Mike turned himself in and immediately bonded himself out. I am curious how all that will go down but the reality is some people will hate Mike now, others will love that he took no crap and follow him more. He will probably get a fine for the infraction, maybe do some silly community service or something, and it will all be over. I am curious if they will keep him on Bro Chat since so many people turned on him and that is the number 1 bodybuilding podcast on youtube. So just curious anyone hear about this Jeff Nippard and Van Wyck thing? Seen a video but hard to tell what took place because all it showed was Van w. Catching nippard right in the throat.
Yeah, it’s pretty cut and dried. It really even sounds like Jeff didn’t do anything to provoke any of it, nothing inflammatory or disrespectful either - but beyond that, assault is assault. It wasn’t self-defense or anything: Mike was just pissed off and shoved Jeff by the throat.I watched that, pretty wild I like Big Mike's training stuff but him picking on such a little guy compared to himself. It wasn't out of nowhere, in Jeff's eyes he called him out as being a mediocre science based guy. So Jeff called him back out in a video and basically had a mic drop moment that made Mike look a bit silly. That is where the animosity came from.I’m pretty sure little Nip isn’t an angel in all of this. We are only seeing CCTV and his camera guys clips. The part where he verifies that his camera guy is filming as Mike approaches is suspect. I’m sure Jeff chirped at Mike and has in the past in regards to “Bro-Science” vs. nerd science. I thought the vid that Big Mike made was more reference to RP Mike referring to not amounting to much in the BB world ie NO PRO CARD. Jeff Nip is a IFBB Pro and he did run a vid w Big Mike in the background rattling off all of Jeff’s accolades. I myself, identify as a Van Wyck trapped in a Nippard frame.
I am a self-proclaimed smart ass but I also know not to chirp out of my weight class. I have had my ass handed to me by bigger guys for being “more clever than the room” let’s say. I didn’t call the cops, I didn’t press charges, I took my lumps and ate a slice of humble pie.
Yes, assault is assault. But just because someone MAY be intellectually superior to someone it doesn’t mean that they can linguistically clap and not expect to ruffle any feathers. (Jared included). What Mike did was wrong but NO WAY IN HELL was Jeff just standing there minding his own business and this came out of no where.
Maybe my opinions on this differ from anyone right around 40 and younger. I work w a Cvnt like this. He instigates in a passive aggressive manner and then plays the victim when I retort.
But I’m a big fan of “Don’t start sh!t, won’t be sh!t” and…..
You r omitting the request by Big Mike and his crew to turn the camera and mic off after the “there’s a loading dock outside” moment. The Russian pranker w the scales crew said that it would be filmed for content. Then some dude gets in Mikes face and starts spitting this shiz about being an O.G. and brings up the word “murder”. Dude sounded like he had half a ball of coke stuck in this throat. If he was an I will fight all takers kind of guy that would be different but he cowered down and got behind people as soon as the other guy he threatened was excited to go outside and fight him, but attacks the much smaller guy without any warning of physical confrontation.
My point is, it doesn’t even matter what Jeff did. If I don’t like all the **** you’re talking to me, I still don’t have the legal right to swing on you. Now layer in that they’re both effectively at work, and it becomes doubly stupid on Mike’s part.I’m pretty sure little Nip isn’t an angel in all of this. Guess I’m just not a member of 1st world society then…My point is, it doesn’t even matter what Jeff did. I have never liked Jeff, ever. And there’s plenty of times I’ve wanted to smash someone’s face for getting wise in public or at work. But 1st world society doesn’t work that way.
Oh I am certain Jeff knew where it might go, the fact he put his hands behind his back as Mike approached was proof of that. I am also sure he thought he was going to get some great content and footage off of them having a confrontation. I think he got more than he expected and that he is sensationalizing the I needed to get myself checked out at the hospital stuff. Dude your head never hit anything. You navigated that throw and landing like an athlete. All that does is make him look like a little bitch. I am definitely not saying Jeff is 100% innocent, I am sure he was going for some good content, and he definitely got that.Guess I’m just not a member of 1st world society then…
I’m not disputing the legalities. That’s a “call it a career” moment if I do that at work w all the D.E.&I indoctrination meetings we have and the “Libby Loons” that run the company.
I just feel like Jeff may have had an idea on where this would end up. Might not have thought he was gonna get launched over gym equipment. But he made sure it was filmed and played the world’s smallest violin all the way to the E.R. for a C.T. scan. I know lawyers that coach people to place hands behind the back in a matter of public assault so it’s a slam dunk for a law suite.
LOL well that's just his nightly ritual. We were in Vegas at a work thing last May, the convention was like 9am to 4pm then we went to Top Golf for 2 hours, pounded one of their pitchers of beer which is like 3 pitchers in size, plus a jumbo plate of nachos, from there we headed over to a Rodizio place for all you can eat meat. I had to stop after I gained 10lbs and was rolled out of the restaurant. He had a piece of pineapple and said, "woah, that makes my stomach feel like I can eat more" lol, so he did. Then we get in the car and start heading back to the hotel when we pass a whataburger and he goes "you know, that looks awesome right now and I could eat again" The guy can eat like crazyGee 250 calories, what a furnace

Forget the chicken, just throw a hawaiian pizza in the blenderSo you’re telling me I need to put pineapple in the chicken shake yes?
Me and the wife both did no internet no work emails it was glorious. At night we’d put the kids to bed and go outside and have a fire in the fire pit and look at the stars and hear the coyotes singing. It’s crazy how deafening the silence is out there after being in the city for a while.Welcome back! Looks like you had a hoot. Man I’m jealous of all that airplane mode. I need that in my life sooner than later.

Oh by far my senses really come back after being out there for a while. I can’t wait to move back. It was a healthy old male didn’t have my scale along to get a weight. Was hard calling this time around, they are just not hungry weather to mild and game to plentiful.man that's a good sized yote.
And yeah, those days/nights out in the middle of nowhere, when you can't hear traffic etc, are incredibly therapeutic. I swear my hearing and vision both improve when I'm hunting in the field.
It has become a lifestyle change for sure and it really helps the wife is on board. We still did are morning and evening walks with the kids and grandparents along as well.Great job not overdoing the calories while relaxing - you can really tell you have been making better habits and improving your lifestyle for your health!
This week a little hard getting up, taking things a little slower and less weight to get back in the groove.
Yeah the lack of daylight seems more pronounced this year. Also a week of no alarms got me spoiledIDK about your region but we've hit that point in the season where all the sudden it's still dark for the first 2 hours I'm at work, and it's dark long before I get home so the body is adjusting a little bit. won't take long though, and winter solstic is right around the corner. one of my favorite days of the year because the days immediately start getting longer after that
