Week 4 Helladrol - Major Crash - WTF?

BadSeed

So I'm on my second day of week 4 on 100mg ed Helladrol. I'm running this on top of a 200 mg/wk test base for trt. Diet is super clean, 3000 cal/day.

A few days ago I really finally started to feel the Hella kicking in, saw *crazy* strength increases, really leaning out, no increase to body weight but looking muscle are looking a little fuller/bigger, very vascular.

Today coming off an off-day yesterday I took a major crash. Strength gains while lifting are gone, energy level is non-existent. Feeling very lethargic. I usually dose 2 caps 6am, cyvle support at noon, 2 more caps at 5pm daily.

I don't know what the hell is going on. Test levels were at 1078 the day I started cycle according to bloods.

Looking for some advice or if anyone has had similar experiences. Should be stated that this is my first cycle of anything.

Thanks for reading.

Sounds like the lethargy from the Helladrol is getting to you and affecting your lifts. That's the only thing I could think is causing it. You could try adding in a preworkout to see if it helps but if your BP is high you are going to want avoid it

I'd say drop the dose down to 75mg/day and see what happens.

could it be the start of a cold or flu ? or if not that could be that you need to eat more. 3000 cals/day on 100mg hella seems too low. what is your height/weight? did you up your cals at all for this cycle? I eat 3500 cals a day when NOT on a cycle.

Thats the crazy thing. Already taking 2 scoops Jack3d pre workout. BP hasn't run high the entire cycle. Could be the sides at 100mg are outweighing the positives? This late in the cycle, is it even worthwhile to try to lower the dose?

I don't think its cold/flu. I'm lucky to get sick once a year if that. I run 2400 cal normally, I gain body fat very easily. Up'd to 3000 for cycle. I'm 6'5", 225 lbs, 14% bf. Was using the hdrol to get nice and cut up for summer. I gotta say most everyone recommended staying at 75mg with the test base but my "more is better" mentality was hearing it - lesson learned.

yeah i agree with dropping it down to 75mg/day. i bet the lethargy will pass in a day or two. good luck bro

Lowering to 75mg wouldn't be a bad idea to see how you do there

I was gonna say its because your not on test, but i see you are.
if the test is for sure not bunk that your using, im not sure what to say. but maybe lower your dose on orals 2/3rds maybe? and see how you feel?

I havent used it myself yet so I cant comment if its normal. but i have used ALOT of other compounds and only found tren (trenAce or trenE is what i usually use) to cause some lazyness around wk10 I usually stop around then anyway

Cool, thanks to all for the advice. I'll lower to 75 for the last 2 weeks. The test is legit - dr prescribed. I'll post how I'm feeling in a couple days.

How often are you using Jack3d? If you have been taking Jack3d consistently for a long period of time you will go into zombie mode... not fun at all.

Yeah if you've been on stims for a while then you get use to them, just like me, and then they barely have any effects on you. Try cycling off of stims if you've been on them for a while.

Other than that I would say just try lowering your dosage to 75...that's all I could think of right now.

Yeah, come to think of it, I have been on the preworkouts pretty much for the past 5 months. I remember when 2 scoops used to make me feel like a lunatic. Now it feels like a morning cup of coffee.

Haha yea bro, that is going to make you feel like a zombie. Come off the stims.

Add some fast acting carbs before and after your workout to help with the lethargy. Do it through food or you can also supplement NTBM's N2-Carb 30 servings for about $15. It's only 130 calories per serving so should fit your diet well if you want to use it.

thanks for the pointer to the carbs Ima actually buy 2 bags of this for my self haha.

Wouldn't you know it. It WAS the beginning of illness. Woke up last night dripping sweat and puking my guts out, bad stomach flu going around the area. Can't keep food down at all, doc said it could be days before I could keep solids down - worst possible timing!!

That sucks man. Not much you can do except try to minimize the damage and get better ASAP. you should be ableb to bounce back alright if you kill it when you get back and get food in when you can.

Well its been about 6 days and I'm just now able to eat again. I've lost 13 lbs total, most of it water weight. I actually tried to tough it and keep taking the compund for the first days but noticed I wasn't getting any better - decided to bail out with 1.5 weeks left in the cycle. Bad news is I feel like a look a lot smaller, good news is it was a pretty successful recomp as I'm pretty shredded up - abs are coming through and I'm at an all-time lean. I never come off the test so I have a solid protocol to fall back on. Time to start stacking the calories and killing it in the gym again, lock the diet in and get start planning a winter bulk.
