Was this not really hdrol?

I did a cycle of hdrol for about 18 days. I stopped at this time due to gyno symptoms. I am now a week into pct(novedex xt) and have tender pebbles of hard tissue developing under my nipples. Also, I gained 12 pounds and haven't lost any of it so far.
What's the deal?
Any reports of hdrol being spiked with something more potent?
Nolva is on the wat

well seeing your stats,
I can see how you would gain 12 pounds because you seem to just of started lifting so in turn new muscle gains are quite simple to gain.

your pct might have not been enough for your body to return to regular hormonal levels and that is where you would see elevated estrogen, resulting in minor gyno. Chances are it is not gyno so there is not need to worry unless it does not go away on its own in a couple weeks.
 
I have heard of gyno from hdrol but it's extremely rare. Gaining 12 pounds is not normal for halodrol at all, especially running what, 50mg for less than 3 weeks? Is it CEL brand Hdrol? it should be good.
 
During my very first CEL hdrol cycle, I also gained 12lbs in only 14 days. I also experienced bloat/ water retention during my cycle. However after 14 days I bridged into Epi and I gained more than 20lbs overall in this 6wks cycle. This was my best cycle in terms of gaines and I kept about 12lbs after PCT with Nolva.

I was also suprised about the crazy weight gains in a short amount of time and even opened a thread somewhere here on AM.
 
12 lbs is possible for someone who never worked out before but suddenly started really training for hypertrophy during his hdrol cycle.

Then Lets say his diet went from 2500 cals to 4000. its possible. But not likely 12lbs of muscle. More than likely half is glycogen, fat and water.

I totally agree with you about the glycogen, fat and water to some extend. Please keep in mind that my cycle was a 6 weeker and I bridged hdrol into epi.

I also read that the general assumption is that hdrol does not kick in until wk 3. However I have seen a couple of logs though were first time users of hdrol had excellent gains at only 50mg after only a 10-14 days.

During my 2nd hdrol run (hdrol only) I expected simular gains at 50mg but after 4 wks I was up only 3lbs. Had some recomp but nothing compared to my first run, I also had no bloat during my 2nd run.

Yeah the rule of thumb is usually quicker and more explosive your gains are, the harder they are to keep. (example: anadrol)

The gains that come slowly and steadilly, as with hdrol or lets say primo, those are generally easier to maintain.

Its more of a hardening, strength steroid. Although i read that Halodrol/Hdrol is pretty diff from oral turinabol. From what i understand, it is both a steroid and a ph. meaning that there is some conversion with hdrol as well.

Now some people dont have the enzymes neccesary to help with the conversion, those people see less gains than the ones that do. This may not be gospel though.

perhaps a CEL rep could chime in on that.
 
ON Hdrol at 50mg I actually lost weight!!! I ran 5 weeks with the last 3 at 75 and last 3 days of the last week at 100mg and havent experienced any signs of gyno or shutdown signs. Where di you get this? Sounds like you bought it off a person and they might have sold you something else and just said it was hdrol or threw it into a hdrol bottle. I really cant imagine anyone gaining 12lbs in 14days off 50mg
 
Some people respond differently to compounds than other, there are things called anomalies... Like M-Drol, some people can gain 20 pounds in 3 weeks and some people cant gain but a natural 3 pounds in 4 weeks....
 
im not 150 anymore, that was after an extensive cut b4 i knew about nutrition or all of that so i lost some muscle. but i was 155 at 5%, now im 180 at 8%.
It was cel h drol
who knows maybe i was an unlucky one. its going down now tho

I was 167 when i started
