VPX Meltdown new formula: Feels promising

Much thanks for the detailed and personal review. This is the kind of review that I would like to see more often, especially with this sort of supplement. I too have a checkered past when it comes to methamphetamine, and nearly ODing a couple times did something that altered how I respond to stims. I went from an average responder to being somewhat hypersensitive to stims, where they would cause extreme anxiety which would lead to depression. Over time I have slowly reintroduced fat burning supplements back into my diet, with good results. I carefully gauge my doses and response to avoid any feelings of anxiety or depression. Based on your review, Meltdown sounds like it is worth a shot.

Mattikus, what's goin' on? I can definitely see where you're coming from. Although I took supps to help rebuild and replenish neurotransmitters, after my 40 something day run with methamphetamine, my dopamine was at an all time 'unimaginable' low. Aside from the normal response, I had somewhat of a paradoxical response to the substance, whereas I was VERY calm and my thoughts were linear as opposed to being scatter-brained. My doctor and I sat down and came up with a protocol to get off of the stuff consisting of modafinil, propranolol (beta blocker), clonipin (small dose), and neurontin (for Cymbatla withdrawal syndrome).

Anyhow, a couple months later... supplement free... I get back into the gym and not to my surprise I find that I'm pretty weak, my joints are tight, my energy levels are sensetive and dull, and my concentration is stifled.

I tried Cytolean, which was so-so. Eh. I see VPX has a new Meltdown. I remembered my previous success with it, so I got it and tried it.

It's awesome. If you get some initial jitters, they will subside and they're not a bad 'tweaked' feeling. It's most likely the yohimbine complex.
At a twice daily dosing regimen it gives perfect energy levels without a noticable peak and no crash! Appetite is controlled, but not erradicated. I'm currently eating very low carbs and my energy and focus and still great. I depleted my glycogen yesterday and fasted thereafter and have been eating lean protein sources, good fats, and vegetables. My carb cravings are pretty much at bay. I mean... if I were to eat a candy bar right now, I'd go nuts and go on some kinda feeding frenzy, but my focus on my goal outweighs my desire to eat crap.
I added DLPA (750 mgs) and taurine (500mgs) with a thyroid support formula (w/ tyrosine @ 250mgs) at a twice per day dosing and I hope to give my body the necessary tools to keep my CNS from becoming exhausted. So far, there is no CNS over-exertion and I believe that coming off of this will be no problem, especially considering that I am going to continue the thyroid support, taurine, and DLPA. I also put an order in for my Millenium Sports Technologies stack.

I will be getting by the weekend:
1. Carnage
2. Cordygen 5
3. MVP-365
4. Ragnarok
5. Somnidren GH
6. ZMK

I put in a resume for Millenium Sports Technologies sponsorship, so I'll hear back about that pretty soon hopefully. ;)

I think MST has some really solid, effective products. I think that the MST stack I just ordered will give me a huge edge in my training for 5k kayak races and ocean swimming races.

The only other product I'm considering adding to the stack is 'Stoked' by Anabolic Innovations. PCS worked amazingly well for test increases and estrogen control.

Good to hear that this isn't to hard on the CNS. Funny you should mention MST.. Two days ago I returned from a two-week ski trip in Tahoe. I brought Cordygen 5, Citruvol XS, and Carnage along. I have never had such excellent endurance at such high elevations. I ski with some hardcore individuals that go from 8am till 6pm, sometimes nonstop. Past few times I was in pain from constant overexertion. Not this time. You should thoroughly enjoy that stack. Good luck with sponsorship and I agree that MST is a quality company.

That's awesome Mattikus. I'm very confident in MST. I used Carnage before with success and MVP-365/ZMK were staples of mine until the 'incident'.

I'm on a keto based diet and I feel good and focused. I think yesterday I broke through the keto barrier... I was a bit foggy for a while. The Meltdown is still doin' it's thing. Maybe it's the additional 1500mg DLPA and 500mg tyrosine per day, but my CNS still seems fine. I sleep excellent and I wake up fine, unlike after using harsh stims that drain you out and you can't wake up without them, ya know?

WTF. This crap really pi$se$ me off. Maybe I'm getting my muscles out of atrophy, but I am on a keto diet doing some sickningly crazy cardio and circuit type training and I'm not losing a lb.

I don't know, I'm not far off from where I want to be for kayaking and rowing, but I'm stuck at 205.

I'd like to drop some fat, but maybe this keto crap ain't what I need. I dunno. Maybe I'll start training harder, get back on the carbs and dump the fatburner, but keep the dlpa and tyrosine.

Hows your water intake ? Getting enough water is the cheapest way to get your metabolism going. Try throwing in low glycemic carbs, but keeping them low....like 100-110g/ED of carbs.

Good to see you over here ReaperX. My water intake is good... but come to think of it, I started upping my water intake just a few days ago to a better level, again. It's at atleast a gallon now.

I found that Wegmans near me carries Ezekiel bread. Mmmm. Yeah. I'll stick to that, beans, and vegetables for carbs....

Maybe I'm just gaining muscle. I've gotten comments of people saying I am looking leaner, etc. I dunno.

My mom was making home-made cookies today and as I was getting my food ready for work (salads, chicken, etc) the cookies were cooling right in front of me and there was a bowl of dough... peanut butter chip cookies. Christ, I was drooling enough to have to put up a 'caution: wet floor' sign. I had to take a Wellbutrin. I feel like just going hog-wild right now... aye. More phenylalanine maybe? What the hell is going on.

Hey Force, you have got me HOOKED on ezekiel bread ever since seeing it one day on one of your old posts. Put a little smart balance butter on that ISH, WOOWEEE!!! Very great, while low on the G-level. I have come to believe once one passes the 200lbs barrier, its harder from there to get where you want..lol! You aren't losing even a pound? Did you lose any water weight from being in ketosis? you got the bad dry breath taste with the bad peeing smell? Once you pass that keto foggy barrier, I personally feel like i have energy all day and do not need as much sleep, and wake up full with energy. Keep training hard bro, you will get there. I wouldn't drop the fat burner, but then again... Ephedrine is what makes me feel normal. I would think the Yohimbine would be working good with the keto diet. Are you overtraining?
Just reading your post made me drool over the cookies. Good luck with it, and have a cheat meal this Easter.

lol, I find the harder I cut carbs, the stronger my cravings are for them. If you don't mind me asking, what BF are you approx. at and where are you trying to get ?

I'm not very familiar with phenylalanine, I think you probably know more than I do about it.

Try keeping your water intake relatively high which will make the most out of your metabolism naturally. Try adding in some carbs (100g/ED) either through rolled oats or veggies. Keep your protein intake high and fats moderate.

Something to address cortisol would be a bonus to toss in.

I wonder if your body is shocked because I assume you are hitting the ground running pretty hard in dieting. Maybe a more gradual approach into it is a better idea.

I try to aim for .5-1lb max of fat loss each week to minimize muscle loss.

Hey Pat! The Ezekiel bread is off the hook! I'm just going to 'try' eating balanced and training my b@lls off. I'll be doing the circuit type training and once the ocean warms up a little bit, my dopamine levels skyrocket once I'm hitting the waves!

I don't care for ephedrine much anymore... I had too many bad experiences with it lol. And it closely resembles something else...

Yeah, I have some 'number' issues to work on... Although I do need to be lighter to be able to place better in the kayak events.

Yeah, Ephedrine was "taken" off for a good reason I guess. The more is better idea doesn't work in that situation. How is the Meltdown going for you thus far? I just picked up some AP/P-slin from vitamin shoppe, which they finally have in stock along with meltdown now, and absolutely LOVE the usplabs stack, can definitely feel a difference. I remember you were able to try it out and liked it but what was your final thoughts about the usp products?

And yes, there is nothing like hittin the East Coast waves:thumbsup:

If any water is held, might be the yohimbine or METHYL-TTA (haha) I would think. But NO fear! Caffeine is here!
