Depending on where you buy ONE from, this stack works out to be about a $30-$40 savings. :cool:

how would you use it, given they both can be pre/w formulations, and what would you do on off days?
 
These are really meant to be used on workout days only.

I'd do 1/2 dose ULTIMA pre and the other 1/2 dose during workout and then the ONE post-workout.
 
if one consumes bcaas/eaas intra-workout, is there still some value to dosing One post-workout?
 
Wraath would also be no good for the same reason.

I've looked at most of the popular BCAA/EAA products and the one from each category that will work without mechanistic interactions with Ultima are Xtreme Formulations ICE and Primaforce Primal EAA.
 
the contention with b6 in ultima, is that also true if we fully dose ultima pre-workout and the bcaa/eaas with b6 intra-workout?

also, Invalid Link Removed has not b6, so that would be good to, right?

how detrimental to the overal product's effectiveness do you think the b6 competition might be? i really would like to try ultima, but having two full size tubs of xtend and PW I cant justify getting a b6-free bcaa/eaa blend.

Andro will have to answer that. He's the man. I will say that P5P is a big part of the formula and thats what its competing with. I'll link him but he's on vacation so it may take some time.

Q: What other products should or could I take with this?
A: The nootropics were discussed above. Protein is a no-brainer. Beyond that, it's your world, but I would not dose products 2 hours before or after Ultima that have B-vitamins (bars, protein powders, other products that list them) or ones that have magnesium (especially) or sodium / potassium added. There is a specifc ratio of the electrolyte-bound chelated creatines, called Trinitine. The B-vitamins are dosed maximally and are in their most active, co-ezymated forms, of which more coenzymated B's would be too much and the standard supplemental forms actually compete with these and make them far less effective. B6 in the pyridoxine (standard) form is toxic at higher doses because it competes with P5P (active form) for binding. Cyanobalamin (standard) is a cyanide bound inferior form that takes conversion and can be problematic in very high doses. Methylcobalamin is not. R5P is the active riboflavin form...we have those in here, dosed very highly, but research supported and safely. They're essential to the performance of Ultima.
 
thanks dtrain, my desire to try ultima is so far exceeding my need for intra amino acid supplementation. Seems best to try it alone pre and intra, and just follow up with a couple of servings of One.
 
is One pwo serving weight-dependent? Also you suggest adding some whey, is there something particular you have seen work effectively with One? I was thinking adding some WPI or something hydrolized (maybe peptopro).

Not really. You can play around with and find what you think works best for you but I'm a big dude and for me it was two scoops mixed with some Hydrolized whey. At the time I used PA's Giant brand but I don't thing he sells it anymore. Peptopro would be good (hydrolyzed casein) but its very bitter. I would get something vanilla flavored (although chocolate wasn't to bad) to mix with the Cherry flavoring of ONE.
 
thanks dtrain, I got my confirmation email that my stack order was shipped. Last time I was this excited about a pre-wo supp like this was with NosEther and it delivered big time, so my expectations are really high on this one.

I might add Cre02, EtherTabs or GreenBulge on my off days to maintain at the very least some MCC uptake.

No problem man. Let me know if you have any questions on dosing and such. Getting it down can be the hard part as it can vary some person to person. That being said a small dose of powder under the tongue followed buy a half scoop sipped peri seems to be getting the best response. FYI the creatine portion of ULTIMA (Trinitine) is going to be released in capsule form very soon.

just got back from the arnold and found my combo here as well as some nice additional items thanks matt

im sure this has been asked but im fried

Can I take 1 with ultima or should I just take 1 pre workout then after finishing do the small scoop under the tongue then mix 1/2 serving and during during my lift

What are you taking Post workout?
 
ONE along with protein

Tell you what I would do:

1)30 minutes pre 1/2 - 1 teaspoon under tongue

2)Immediately pre and peri sip on 1/2 scoop

3)post 2 scoops ONE with ~20 grams of a fast acting protein


If you want to experiment with dosing ONE pre workout between the two doses of ULIMA I would be interested in your feedback on this.
 
I actually did that before I read your post

30 min before my lift i put 1/2 scoop in my mouth. held it for about a minute and swishing water around the next 2 min. mixed over half of scoop in water and drank the whole lift I made it last right down to the last rep each mouthfull I hed for 30 seconds. the after taste is a bit bitter but not bad

rightnow Im drinking 1 with UP 2.0 what a great combo of cherry chocolate 2 scoops ONE 1 scoop protein

there isnt anything I see that would cause it to interfere. I run drive and igf-2 here starting this week


I will note I had golden yellow piss all day yesterday :D
 
Omega one carb source is hydrolyzed rice syrup how dose it compare to products like vitargo or pure karbolyn that claim to be absorbed 80%faster than other carbohydrates on the market
 
Well, unfortunatley there have been no head-to-head studies or even anecdotal reports so really it would be impossible to say which one is X% better. Honestly, it may just come down to a personal preference after trying them and seeing what works best for you.

i have tried karbolyn but not vitargo, and I liked it, no bloat, pretty sweet though... Currently I am doing 3scoops of The One plus a scoop of GreenMag, 10g of WPI and EndoAmp, and I like it a lot- not too fancy, hits all the essentials, no bloat, not too many carbs. It has displaced NOSynthesize as my preferred pwo concoction.
