Ok, finally back home. Worked several hours Friday and then drove 12hrs home. Yesterday was just a relax day. Started to work out then realized I was still too fatigued from that drive. Hit the gym for legs this morning:

Legs are pumped tight. Been almost 2 weeks since hitting legs. Weight felt great though! Now to see if I can get back on point. Kept diet pretty good while I was on work travel and that's always hard to do. Especially keeping carbs manageable and my protein intake up.

Can't let the time slip too much. Worked to hard to be able to push those #'s to let it slide. I use to hate legs but I've got to a point I really love doing them. Releases a ton of endorphins. And finally got to a point where both fast twitch and slow twitch muscle fibers are firing. Mind muscle connection. Sounds cheesy but it is what I believe has happened.

35 x 10 x 3 surprising these were really tough. Bicep fatigue an huge pump

135 x 4 toast! Almost hit my nose trying to do a 5th...lol. Oh, I'm guessing that's a weight PR on skulls too!

My PRs are very seldom any more. Occasionally I'll surprise myself and hit one every now and then though...
 
Better late than never lol. Couldn't even come close to remembering my last pr. At any lift. But pr busting is in my near future fo sho. Just gotta keep my back and shoulders healthy

Thanks Mark. You keep increasing weight and do an insane amount of volume with that weight. Your lifts are really amazing. An inspiration that drives me and others!

Got in a workout this morning. Work has had me hopping as usual.
Strained my wrist the other night moving drums of soil. Get some pain on the top of the wrist opposite the thumb.
Put my Versa-Gripps on extra tight this morning...

Strong as usual. I have those Versa Gripps as well and love them for DLs, pull-ups and rows. Maybe wrap the wrists until healed? Also, add in glucosamine and a cissus joint support.

I usually use 2 supercissus and 2 joint help when my knees bug me... there is something in joint help that works wonders.

And that was it. Pretty much out of steam. The Leg press/shrugs superset took a lot out of me. Friggin weight is back down again. Gonna have to play with my diet some as my work schedule and what I actually do fluctuates so much. Just have to plan my meals better with real food when I'm traveling. I'm actually not wanting to cut until after January.
Weight this morning was 193 last Saturday I was at 197/198. 2 weeks prior to that I was 194. And 3 months ago I maintained around 205.
 
Holy leg workout! Geez! I know what you mean with struggling to keep weight, especially while on the road.

Those 75x25's must have blown your arms right up!

Yeah, the first 2 sets in each were easy. The 3rd set was like uh oh, and the 4th set was down right painful. The short rest times was what made them painful. No pain no gain!

My Brother in law son OD'ed last Friday.37 yrs old.
My son got married last Saturday...
And Sunday I was contacted by the boy I raised in my first marriage. I raised him from the age of 5-16. He was really the perfect son and then disaster struck(his mom) and I hadn't heard from him since. He's 37 now and found me to tell me how much he appreciated everything I did and that I'm the only thing from his past that he gives credit to. He has a great job, wife, and 2 kids. Still calls me dad. Hasn't spoken to his mom in several years. It's a little awkward but we are reconnecting. Some emotions there that I had locked away...
Just needed to get that out there and share it....

He's called me everyday, plus text, and emails. Hasn't asked for anything and seems to have his life in order. So I can only hope...
Yes, gained a daughter and they seem to be in love, but I wish they would've waited. He's only 21... But I pray that they will be together another 50!
 
I find it pretty amazing that we get to be such good friends on these forums that we can share this like this. Thanks for this, it shows us that you are human after all. And here we all had you pegged for the hulk.
 
Sorry for the loss, but congrats to your son! And reconnecting... I am going to be in Myrtle Beach Oct 11-16... I don't know your work schedule or how time will be (my daughter and I are visiting my parents). But even a quick hello could be in order.. i will shoot you an email if able.. and you are around.

This was really a brutal workout. I was drenched and gasping for air. No rest between anything or sets was just insane. Not sure how some of you guys do it!
