I am the 'us'. I am a member of this community. I as a member of 'us' would hope that 'us' as a community would raise the level that we/us present as a representation of us/we...you AND me, to that supplement world, industry, cyber community.
The us that offend or cross the line are a tiny minority and will have no influence on the numbers. Surely you cannot believe that any 10 members of this board (really...it is the same few that offend over and over again) has any significance when there are 900-1100 members and/or visitors on this site on some given day posting and or reading and 1000's of hits daily. I'll say this politely as possible; the "we're doing AM, the sponsors and the industry a favor" mentality is really misquided. I promise you that this board, the sposnors and the industry will go on just fine without you or me.
I was and am a member first just like everyone else. I logged for DS's beta-superdrol, I pimped CNW, Nutra and all the rest of our fine sponsors and retailers by logging and journaling just like everyone else. None the less, I, like you was a registered member, a paying, donating Gold Member all before I became a Mod. Then after some time I became an Admin.
I guess it comes down to which US you want to be. Do you want to announce, pledge allegiance and behave like the 'rebelling against the staff, pushing the fringes, rebel bunch - us' or do you want to announce and display that you are a member of the US that upholds a higher standard in their contribution, influence and impact on their board community and the industry as a whole?

As far as your Avatar goes...do you really not see the difference between a sexy woman tastefully depicted in her underware and a shot of a woman's taint and bung hole covered by a piece of cloth?
