Narrative:
To preface this: i just want to thank ironlungz and everyone at IBE for allowing me to log their product. I truly enjoyed it!
Now as some of you may know, i've used transdermal formestane in the past as well. I thought it would try out this oral product by IBE due to the convenience of the lipophilic oral delivery. I initially started out at 2 caps/day, and worked my way up to 4 caps/day. Here are some things of note while taking formex:
Libido: My libido was sligtly elevated for the majority of my experience with formex.
Comparison with transdermal formestane: Libido was a bit more pronounced here for sure. However, it also began to drop back to baseline after 3-4 weeks of use.
Side Effects: Not much to note other than some acne on my upper torso. No problems with hair or prostate. Overall, pretty impressive here.
Comparison with transdermal formestane: I definitely had more noted sides with the transdermal form. Acne was on par with formex (which wasn't bad), but i developed enlarged prostate symptoms after a few weeks of use. This quickly subsided with the cessation of this as well. I also noted joint pain (i would hypothesize secondary to decreased estrogen levels) after a few weeks of use as well.
Aggression: I had periods on formex as well, but nothing extreme.
Comparison with transdermal formestane: Aggression was a bit more pronounced; in a negative way overall.
Strength: I noted a gradual increase in strength gains for certain. It took a few weeks to really kick in, but was evident none-the-less.
Comparison with transdermal formestane: Strength gains kicked in quicker overall.
Body composition: Formex leaned me out nicely! The most noted effects were my mid-section. I'm very impressed at its effects in this regard. It really is a great addition to a recomp stack imo!
Comparison with transdermal formestane: Pretty much on par with the Formex.
I think that Formex is a fantastic product, and most definitely was impressive imo. I feel that it helps mitigate estrogen levels in a very good fashion. Not too much where you develop some of the related side effects, but just enough to prevent potential issues while on-cycle, or to help upregulate test production during pct. Both Formex and transdermal Formestane have their place, imo.
Based on what i've evinced with these products, i'm impressed in the diversity that these two product offer with different delivery mechanisms. Transdermal formestane without a doubt kicks in faster, and i'd recommend that for urgent estrogen control issues. Formex has a more gradual onset, but seems to mitigate estrogen just right in that you get all the benefits, and not as many of the side effects.
Once again, this is my own personal views on the matter. Without a doubt i'll be using Formex again with future cycle. I was a bit skeptical at first, but now i'm certainly a believer. Thanks for the opportunity, and the kick azz product IBE! :wave2:
