Transformation & Physique Goal Challenge 2018! Let's get it done!!!

Oh by the way I weighed myself and was 207.5 down 5.2 lbs from last week but I was holding some water then. However this is down 5.2 lbs altogether now. So progress is right about where I was hoping for and not lose muscle.

I hope to see you shredded by the end of this run. Get it!!
 
Weight pretty much stagnant the last 3 weeks. Up and down within 1lb. Not what I want to see as body comp doesn’t seem to be changing much either.

Coach wants me to get some blood work to see what’s going on

No progress pics from me this week as I have not been to the gym (where I usually take them) for thast 3 days. Weighed in at 101kg on wednesday, before getting really sick. On antibiotics now and hoping to shake this by tomorrow.

I don't think shredded is even a consideration. Lean yeah, nice abs yeah but shredded is a lot further than I am trying to get too.

THis is about as far as I might go and even then may be a little leaner than I am going for at the moment. This was in the 9-10% bodyfat range, NOT HOW I LOOK NOW, DON'T GET CONFUSED THAT THIS IS MY PROGRESS IT IS NOT

I am only planning on dropping down to around 10-12% for this as of right now and that should be plenty but who knows.

MrKleen73 Daang!! that’s pretty lean. Okay. May be not shredded. But, if you get here, you have my vote as the winner.

Yeah, if I get there I have my vote as winner too. Not that I can't but it would take some serious buckling down and treating this like a full on prep to make that kind of progress in the next 7 weeks. I don't know that I want to go all in like that. I want some balance in life, coupled with nice progress, not really looking for depriving myself too much, or going all in on cardio. I try to do all of my stuff like that now unless planning on a serious competition. If I can make some nice progress with a more balanced and relaxed approach then that is what I am going to opt for.

yes, I will see what i can swing in terms of my yearly checkup (going to a new doc who focuses on internal med anyways so I will be testing his knowledge/thoughts) but even if that doesn't go for full hormone panel, coach is going to have one done for me as part of his supp beta test anyways

I will change my approach. Instead of cutting, I'm now going for a recomp -and try to cut at the end. Why fighting the urge to eat good?

None due until this weekend, but remember the point of this thing and posting pics bi-weekly is to show your progress or lack thereof. That way it holds you more accountable. No progress means new photos of no progress, or even regression. The process is part of what helps make you accountable. Just because you are not following the diet very well doesn't mean don't follow the rules of this. Doing that part is what makes you uncomfortable doing it and inspires and motivates change.

You were going to end up with a recomp anyway by cutting and then lean bulking, so really it is still the same focus as before. Try and end this thing as lean and muscular as you can with more focus on being leaner. It is an accountability thread just start doing your thing now and make as much progress as you can from here on out.

Not just saying this to this you, you sexy fugger! We all need to hear it!


Everyone make sure to put up pics every other week, this coming weekend is an official picture weekend so progress shots should be up by next Monday or on Monday at the latest. The 3rd in the this bad boy already! Hard to believe how fast things are going, and that I am not a bit ahead of where I am.

Hoping that I see some noticeable changes this week. The scale dropped for sure but hard to tell exactly what is going on with the physique. I keep thinking I am seeing it tighten up.

I am going off of every other weekend so it falls on these dates. Weird how Feb and March are the same dates and days of the week due to the 28 day month...

Every other week from the 2/3/18 is the dates as listed above, although some people got their pics in a bit later the timeline was based off of the 3rd so as not to confuse the issue when others decided to join in.

I went back and counted up on the calendar and everything checks out,
From the 3rd to 17 = 14 days
18th-31st =14 days,
1st-14th =14 days
15th-28th =14 days
29th - 5th = 7 days

I train abs ever other day, I am about as lean as I have ever been (Still not lean) but try to lose a few more pounds of body fat. I was 184 in the pic my goal is 175lbs.

Looking awesome, when I saw your original condition you were the one I expected to make the most visible changes the fastest. You are exceeding expectations though! Well done Sir! By the way not sure if you saw me mention but that last pic is not current condition, more like the leanest I think I could get if I did everything right for the rest of this. If I get there I will love it but the real goal is just a bit higher between 10-12

Man you get down to 175 and you need to set yourself up a photo shoot because you will look unreal!!!
 
Went for another hour of walking at lunch. Weather is so nice right now for Houston, 65 and sunny, just right for a brisk walk and not smelling like "outside" when I come back in. When it is warmer I have to change clothes and bring in wipes to clean off before I clock back in.

Oh yeah, you are already lean, 10 lbs is gonna make a huge difference!

Still been hitting up my walks at lunch, feeling good about getting them done. I feel like I am leaning up more but am in that weird space where my waist is getting smaller from visceral fat loss and that is thickening up the layer of fat on the outside since it isn't stretched as far around my waist. It goes in little phases like this until suddenly the abs pop out... I haven't weighed myself this week but have been pretty on point with my nutrition so I am expecting a little drop in weight as well.

You aren't but 3-4 weeks away from it, If you stick to your diet and cardio you will be right there with him, and me because I am about 3-4 weeks out from this as well.

I have put a lot more into things this week and am really hoping to see some progress but am in a spot that it is hard to tell what is happening from the mirror and I only weigh myself once a week so not sure if I have actually dropped any weight. Add this training being completely new to me and I don't know what to think should be happening at what pace.

I think it is because I know I am close to my abs popping through, I would say 3-5 lbs, but the fact they haven't really started to be more noticeable to me yet has me wondering... I spent all year last year without abs which is something I haven't done in MANY years. So now I don't remember how they come in or what over a year of aging since my last cut has done to metabolism. So I have no idea what to expect.

i've come to hate every weigh-in/photo day becuase I already know th result. following someone else's direction can be insanely frustrating

Yeah, I bet, it really is odd he can't figure your stuff out. Not saying I could, but has he not asked you what you do that works for you? I mean you maintained a pretty good levle of conditioning on your own. You would think he would be asking you how you managed to do that.

He knows the answer ha... low calories. He doesn’t want to lose muscle which at some point becomes a waste because fat and muscular is not what I care for

Well you didn't lose the muscle eating that low of calories before... Why would you all the sudden. You have an obviously efficient metabolism that using protein very effectively and does not seem to catabolize much at lower caloric levels. Some people are just like that. I am a lot like that. I can go pretty low and not see the muscle wasting that others do. After 6 months why so rigid against accepting you are an outlier...

I was a little concerned about cutting back my volume to fit in cardio.(Currently only have 2 hrs a day x 3 times a week to hit the gym) Only 2 weeks in and not any visual change that I can tell. I will take this as a plus. Strength has continued to rise on most lifts.

To be honest I haven't logged them in 2 weeks. If it has protein in it I eat it or drink it. And too many girl scout cookies. I have 2 granddaughters that sell them. I have like 50 boxes.Couldn't let them down. They know PaPa will come through! Just ate a box of thin mints after lunch today! Lunch was 2 grilled chicken breast. lol

Now that I typed this out.........
I need to step up my game to keep up with all you bro's!
