For some reason when I press the "Enter" key in my post it wont skip a line. Very annoying. Anyways I hit chest today and it was Pretty good. I have been trying to find my groove on bench again because I just CANT seem to get the pressure off of my front delts. Im sure this has a lot to do with my front delts being over developed compared to the rest of me. Its getting a bit better but as long as I arch my back with more of a powerlifting form it does help quite a bit. The slow negatives on flat bench really smoked my chest and I had a pretty serious drop off in strength after my third set but its all gravy. No spot today but I still put some decent weight on the bar and changed some things around to accomadate for that. Still tinkering with what exercises I feel work the best going heavy but getting closer.

Lol 305 on bench press trying to find your groove . very nice, also resend your pm my inbox was full unless it was rep for something monte

Being awake for 24 hours makes Monte a grumpy boy. But on the bright side I have all day to sleep with no kids at home. Going big with a full scoop of G8. See y'all in 16 hours :P

Haha get some rest big fella

Same everywhere....hate when that happens...

I'm afraid of my wife now....all those hormones she's got right now. Pregnant females are scary.
You think you are scared now, just pray that she does not go through post pardum. Now that is scary!
High volume does wonders for me. I don't fully believe in the Fascia Stretching aspect of the program but I like the high volume and heavy sets mixed together.

Also there are so many differant ways to build the program.
Pre exhaustion with FST7
FST7 at the end for flush sets
FST7 compound movements for crazy people

Its very versatile indeed.
Yeah not sure if it is the high volume with the almost drop set style of HST-7 sets at the end pushing you farther than you could go normally, or if there is something to the fascia stretching. I do know that when I do the stretches with DC training the pump and what not is increased by almost double so I think there is definitely something to the fascia stretching allowing more volume of blood into the muscle but not sure it makes for additional growth.

So jealous of you getting to sleep like that. My long weekend was nothing but painting I had to come back to work to get some rest... Some G8 and passing out until I felt like getting up sounds amazing. I hope you get some amazing rest bro!

We'll I got 8 hours of sleep instead of 16 but it was an awesome 8 hours. G8 had me nice and fuzzy when I woke up so I didn't wanna get out of bed. Its shoulder time today. Gonna be mainly side and rear delts since my front delts are smoked from chest yesterday. I am reall enjoying the soreness from the heavy lifts. Havnt been sore like this in ages :) on a side note I might have to add in some cardio :( I can tell I'm going to add some chub if I don't due to the shorter workouts.

Oh yea that is a certainty, you could probably get away with adding in some tabatta training on the bike or something, or just 20 minutes of LISS at the end of your workouts.

Willl probaby go with LISS post workout. Its always done me right. Or maybe fasted cardio on on training days since the bike tears my knees up.

First cardio in about a year and a half went as expected. 7 minutes in bored to death. Went home :) a little better update coming in a few.

Super sets curl sets with weighted rope crunches and hanging knee raises to get the heart rate up some. Finished with a whopping seven minutes of LISS on the treadmill :p

Lol gonna have to figure something out that's for sure.

Do a boxer's workout for your cardio:

1) Inchworms
2) Heavy Bag (2 mins on 1 min rest, repeat for as many rounds as your heart rate allows)
3) Leg Lifts
4) Medicine Ball Drop Crunches
5) Jump Rope (2 mins on 1 min rest, repeat)

You will not be bored, heart rate will climb until you suck air and great for core and support muscles.

Try sprint work dude. Makes cardio go sooo much faster. I do 45sec-1 min walk/ 30-45 sec sprints.

You guys better fuggin brace yourself for menopause :(

Been there done that, got the T-shirt, was told I didn't deserve the t-shirt it was her that went through it. That I always make it about me, and would never be able to understand what it feels like to be that emotional or sweat in 50 degrees. To top all that off she couldn't find matching socks which makes her cry because she realized her kids are growing up and won't always be together under one roof.

My wife went through peri-menopause then had a hysterectomy so I have been on that roller coaster for years now.

woah, thats exactly like what my wife is like when pregnant. she was crying the other day because our three year old "doesn't look babyish anymore". lol, it's tough to take her seriously sometimes LOL!!! ;) but you have to sit and listen and tell her it's ok anyway, even if you just want to video tape it and show it to her when she's not hormonal and acting rational again. lol!!!

Lol when my wife was Preggo she cried at commercials on TV...like not even sad ones. And she still cries because our 2 yr old doesn't look like a baby anymore and she's not even knocked up lol

Hrrrrm. I must have gotten lucky. My wife hates kids (even our own) she doesn't cry at movies and she is pretty rational most of the time. I've got a real keeper :p

HA! thats so funny! and then there I am waiting for him to turn 5 or six so I can get him into sports and (eventually) lifting

I'm 90% sure the first time my son gets really hurt (stitches broken bones ect) the Drs are going to be more worried about my wife lol

So you really want to deal with "They are gonna hurt my baby!" ?

My son just turned 18... this past season she still wanted to hop the boards and go after the kid who delivered a dirty hit. I had to remind her he is a big boy and pay back's a b*tch.. lol

Right I am of the mentality if the bone isn't sticking out there really isn't a problem... Not really but I do try to take that mentality with my kids, they are so soft nowadays. When I was growing up you hid it, the last thing you wanted was for Mom to see you injured and make you stop playing. I mean we tried to walk everything off before ever even considering letting our parents know we were hurt. I remember on more than one occasion going into the garage and field dressing a cut with duct tape, or super gluing my skin back together.

On top of that my mother was a nurse so everything was a big to do. I ate asphalt pretty bad one year and she used a pumice stone on me to scrape all the dirt and rocks out of my skin. SCREW THAT! Don't tell Mom we are hurt!!!

Totally agree with you. From when my son was young right on up through hockey, I always told him don't lay on the ice. You lay on the ice if you can't get up...if not you crawl to the bench if you have to.
