Hawaiian Airlines is having some crazy deals on flights to Hawaii...B-diddy, you ready for some company?????

I say we boogie board on TG!(no Homo) That back is sick TG! I was going to comment on the size of those mitts for hands....can't imagine taking a punch from those. You going to expose the wheels too?

^^^^true that!

I wouldn't want to get hit with one of those fists...be like getting hit with a club! :icon16:

It's a sleek Thunder sighting!! Dig the leaned out TG!!
Great work brutha, you've put some hard effort in. Flat is just part of the process; see this thing thru!
Carb up time will come soon enough! ;)
And you do look younger man!

A plethora. I live right near the beach. I used to take my surfboard and bodyboard down to the beach and just hang out all day. I usually ended up bodyboarding more than surfing.

Interesting. I have heard that maybe once or twice in my life from people who could actually stand up on a surfboard. Most of the time people like bodyboarding because they can't figure out how to surf. Then again, I guess it's pretty hard to do an ARS on a surfboard.

I'll take my 9'4" out any day and paddle around all of you though.

I agree! I love surfing more personally. I do like the boogeyboards when ther is some huge gnarly shorebresk though, that can be fun.

Why bodyboard when you can longboard? Nothing beats the laidback smoothness of a long break on a nine-footer... it's instant nirvana...
Its all about taste I guess, b/c i hate longboarding(well i could never hate it, its better than most things). I just enjoy a shortboard so much more. Ther is so much more speed and its not like a big ass log. I love dropping in on steep on and then the bottom turn at the end drop. Nothing beats it besides, well you know!

Nice spread on the wings, TG. I can definitely tell that you leaned up; great job on the transformation.

As always, keep rockin', big man!

TG I am very impressed with how far you have come. Looking at some of your old pics compared to where you are now is amazing and inspirational. You are definately looking cut up and when you add that 10+lbs of lean mean muscle you will look even better.

I wish I had a V taper. THat would be so suhweet!!!!!

TG, your 30 on 30 off HIIT cardio - what is it that you are doing, cycling, sprints, rowing??
Cycling mate. I have a rowing machine, but I haven't used it for months. ha ha It's hard as Hel!! Time to break it out next week. My exer-cycle has the handles that move back and forth like you're skiing or something. I like that. Get some upper body involvement.

Shortboards are fine, and my choice of ride when it is 7-8' and pitching. But for the most part, the waves are going to be 3-4' and crumbly. In which case I will take my 9'4" out and paddle around all the shortboarders that are paddling like madmen. If it's big, then hell yea I ride a shortboard, it just is big enough maybe 10% of the time. If I lived on Oahu, things might be different.

I've increased calories signifcantly since snapping those photos day before yesterday. Only the good stuff. Lots more protein and healthy fats. Some extra carbs, but only the right ones.
It may be too little too late, for this is the last 5 days of this recomp. But I seem fuller and bigger already. It's like my body was starving for those extra calories. I cut them way too sharply at the beginning. And then 6 days into the recomp I caught a stomach virus from Hel. :firedevil:
I'm not making any excuses here, for there are none. I'm just saying......
Some things went wrong, some beyond my control and some within. This was my first recomp, so it was a learning process. Next one will surely be better.
So sweareth the God of Thunder!!! :raincloud::hammer:

Good Morning TG!
Guten Morgen mein schwester. :flirt:
Is everything alright in craderland this morning?
Besides being butt-ass cold!! :shocked::lol:

LOL yeah when you said you were sending snow my way I wasnt expecting the air that brought it to be so frigid!

All is well in my world. The bratlings are playing X-Box360 and eating Panera bread bagels;)

Matt is still asleep, go figure!

I'm totally tricep sore! And once the kids go to their dads later today I think I will hit the gym!

First recomp under your belt...knowledge gained! It's all good TG.

Thanks bro. You have to be the most supportive person on this entire board. Good things are coming your way for your help and support. You don't sow such seeds of kindness without reaping a wonderful harvest!!

Dropping fat has a pretty sharp learning curve. At least for me, there has always been a lot of trial and error, and I still have much to learn!

So you've figured out some of what works for you and what you won't be doing again. That's important.

Learning, adapting, and improving is the process for sure. Simple formula for growth - in all aspects of life.
Like I just did some learning here a minute ago -- I learned AZMIDLYF has a whacked new avi..

Snag, I wish I could put one up like yours but, that is a work in progress at the moment!!

Have you ever posted some pics here? At 6'0 and 215 you're not small. I'd like to see my #1 supporter!!

I will have something in my profile soon...

Everything is a learning curve TG, I think you have made a CRAZY transformation since I first was on the boards last april. Diet is definately the most difficult thing for me to master. The weights come easy, the supplements come easy, eating right is downright tough as hell for me.

I think the hardest part is getting lean then losing strength and size, then when you gain it back, you lose the lean-ness that you are used to seeing in the mirror. It can be quite the mindf*ck, at least for me. But as bodybuilders we have to look at the bigger picture. I stopped thinking about how I would look next week, I started thinking about how I will look in 3 months, then in 3 years. Our bodies grow slowly, as we are consistently watching them, but progress is consistent with those of us that are serious, whether we realize it or not. The fact that you may have made mistakes on this recomp are not a big deal, in fact they are a blessing, because you will be that much better the next time around. We learn from our mistakes, not our successes. Often our successes blind us. The sweet is never as sweet without knowing what the sour tastes like.

Incredible post there G-Money!! Very useful. And intensely inspirational. I understand completely. I'm not taking the changes I have experienced in the last 2 years for granted. I'm very pleased with losing 50+ lbs. of useless fat and replacing it with some new muscle even at my age.
I can see the difference every time I look in the mirror.
I will NOT go back to being big and fat!!!
