THEE Sprinter Stack

MrFlorida619

New member
Quick background on me I am collegiate d1 sprinter. I am in the 10.5 range and desperately want to get faster and go below 21.00 in the 200. Over the past 2 years I have been using gnc's pro performance creatine. I can see moderate gains in it in overall strength and energy, but I am trying to take it to another level. Im 6'2 and my current body weight is 188 lbs. During the season I was running at 205 lbs but since I am just getting off injury I lost a lot of weight because I stopped training and taking creatine. I'm happy I lost this weight because I felt I was a little on the heavier side and Ideally would like to run at 185 in the spring (although i am significantly weaker right now but thats expected). The downside to the creatine i noticed is it puts alot of water weight on me.

Anyway I am looking for the ultimate (NCAA LEGAL) stack to help me out. I have been doing alot of research into the matter and RPM and DRIVE seem to be a common theme I have been reading about. So I was wondering what you guys think? I am looking at combining creatine, beta alanine, RPM, & drive.... how do you guys feel about this? Keep in mind I am really try in stay the 185-190 range as far as body weight. Ive met with a nutritionist for dieting to help with my diet so I havent ignored this aspect.

also i am of course tryna maximize my exploviness, stength, force i put in the ground, energy, my drive and focus when working out, etc...

Neovar, RPM & Drive will treat you well

As far as compliance, you would have to check with your specific athletic organization and see if any of the ingredients are prohibited.

That said how is your training structured? Any resistance sprinting such as sprinting with a weight sled? Are you using lifts that utilize the triple extension? Doing unilateral leg work?

I'd strongly suggest giving Invalid Link Removed a try, although seemingly marketed more towards body building, this form of enterically coated L-Carnosine along with the general formula has been the singular most effective supp I have taken in regards to running or sprinting. I'm not a "runner" or "sprinter" by any means, but certainly helped me get from "total suckage" to "Gettin the Job Done"

Key Ingredients:

Carnosine: Protected by a special bio-coating, Carnosine super-saturates muscle tissue to decrease hydrogen ion build up, enhance pH buffering, and reduce acidity for improved muscular endurance and athletic performance. It is not only many times more effective than Beta-Analine, it works without any of Beta-Analine’s skin tingling side effects.

Creapure® Creatine Monohydrate: Creapure® is manufactured in Germany, not China like some of the other cheaper creatines on the market, and is guaranteed to be the purest, safest, and most effective Creatine on the World market today.

Disodium ATP (Adenosine-5'-triphosphate, disodium salt): Disodium ATP elevates the body’s most important fuel source, ATP, while simultaneously increasing delivery of oxygen, glucose, and nutrients to hard working and recovering muscles.

Theobromine: A potent methylxanthine, theobromine is a potent vasodilator that greatly assists with improved blood flow and oxygen uptake. It helps you get deeper breaths and breath easier.

You can try it for Free by participating in our Forum Contests or on Invalid Link Removed :)

A Ultra Reps + RPM + Drive would make a pretty nice stack for you as well

Again you would have to check with your specific athletic organization

Disregard the pimping, as an athlete myself here's a good stack totally NCAA legal.

SNS MCC
SNS Beta-Alanine

The caps are pretty convenient and it lasts longer than you think. You can also dose about 2g of creatine and avoid the extra water weight for a bit, keep in mind it's all intramuscular not subcataneous and it shouldn't be more than 5 lbs but as an athlete I also know that can be the difference between first and second even if its all in your head. The beta alanine might serve some purpose for training but not sure about the actual training, apparently it acts as a weak neurotransmitter so don't take it pre workout as it may impact your performance. Any time during the day is fine though.

I would just start there for now since it's pretty simple. Give that a few weeks as both need to saturate and if you want to expand further then do it, but honestly thats going to make a huge difference already. Maybe some BCAAs or a more complicated intra workout like Purple Wraath, which iirc, has cit mal which should boast a nice performance boost itself and is also NCAA legal.

Keep it simple bud

What about a Cordyceps product?

Last I saw there was some speculation on cordyceps effectiveness. If I had to branch out I'd go LCLT, ALCAR and maybe nitrates but imo its best to keep it simple when you first begin with supplements as an NCAA athlete.

Yeah I do resistance work once or twice a weak... Sleds, hills, rope pulls, etc... And as far as weight room alot of power cleans, squats, single leg squats, leg press, etc. Also a decent amount of plyo work consisting of bounding, box jumps, sand jumps.

As a sprinter there is a big emphasis on explosiveness and power.

I come from a track background- I actually formulated Drive and RPM as NCAA/USATF-compliant products(most of my beta testers were our board reps and the track team at UNCC) that help with motivation, increasing lean body mass, and recovery necessary for HARD training. They will help you quite a bit; the Neovar/IGF-2 stack will really help out with recovery as well- you guys are right in the middle of fall conditioning right now (my LEAST favorite time of the year). I am training with a couple D-1 guys right now doing the same type of stuff- I am just starting to get my drive and transition phase back right now- they are still kicking my ass, but I am starting to catch up. Being 35 sucks sometimes- your turnover isn't nearly as good.....

Would supplement with beta alanine, nitrates, creatine, possibly agmatine (expensive), malic acid, and/or Cordygen.

Maybe also Citrulline if it's not in ultra reps...haven't seen label.
MST Cordygen is a look to bro. Stack with drive and woohoo

See the only thign with Ultra reps it seems like its for body builders..... I really am not tryna become massive/bulky, I really want to stay as lean as possible.

I haven't personally tried ultra reps yet but the product looks very solid! Just because it is marketed in a bodybuilding crowd doesn't mean that is the only application. There really isn't ingredient in there that IA necessarily gonna make you "massive or huge". It appears to be more of an athletic product designed for long intense training session which can be used for anything from weightlifting to BJJ sparing to your running.

You're not going to get swole over night bro dawg, no legal supplement is going to make you big without you busting/eating your ass off to become big.

lactic acid is not your enemy

x2..

the goal of an athlete such as yourself is to build your lactic acid threshold. To address the issue of lactic acid accumulation, you must train anaerobically, this will result in increasing your work capacity which will help you perform better in a high lactate environment. The further you push the lactic acid threshold (LAT) in training, the more efficient you will become performing with high levels of lactate. If you dont already start adding in intervals, complexes and circuits to your training.
