Dont understand why Xtend still doing BCAAs when everyone has moved onto EAAS and bcaas proven to hardly do anything alone

I fully agree, but xtend is the BCAA money maker

And the common folk will buy it

It is strange how other companies have shifted though and x tend haven’t even released a EAA x tend option yet

If it continues to sell, and sell very well there would be no need to change what the consumers continue to repurchase. From a business standpoint, it does not make sense to alter the top-selling amino acid product on the market.

If you want an EAA option there are plenty of other companies who you can buy from. Nobody is forcing you to buy or support Xtend if your focus is different.

We also can not find enough studies on eaa over bcaa.

That "Maui Twist" sounds really good !!

the concept of vegan protein sounds great if you are a vegan...to me as a meat eater it sounds silly.

that sounds just as silly, lol.
Lol, when you try to thrive off of veggies when you only have one stomach suited to break down meat efficiently, and over time you begin to fall apart, you kinda stop "veganning". And breaking it to your vegan friends is the hardest news they will ever hear.

I can't wrap my head around not eating meat, but since I do eat meat why in the world would I want vegan protein? seems they are playing to a very limited audience, imo.

Their expanding their Audience Actually cause they already have their Proteins made from Whole Foods

so all their protein is plant based?
No only their Vegan Protein. MRE, and MRE light are made from Milk, Egg, Chicken, Salmon, Beef Proteins. And Isotope is made from 100% Whey Isolate, and Lactose Free, and Ration is a Hydrolysate & Concentrate Blend

so, I go back to original comment...with all the options available only a limited audience would be interest in vegan protein.

no biggie, it's just something I personally have no interest in.

Not everyone will. But, it is selling right now. I know some people have picked it up and they are doing 1 scoop MRE lite and 1 scoop Vegan? Getting Plant and Whole Food Proteins. To, each their own I guess

exactly, I aint pissed at them for making it or at anyone for buying it, just not for me!!!

Vegan proteins are not creamy and smooth

For sure. I think they generally taste pretty bad, but like you said, not for us.

For vegans who may struggle to get their protein in, this is a great option.

Due to the ingredient make up vegan proteins they have a very chalky aftertaste. Every company has a hard time masking that property of a vegan ingredient profile. Granted there is not much you can do about it, but that is just how it is what it is.

There is a larger market then most people think for Vegan protein powders. PES Vegan sells very well, Ghost just launched Pancake Batter Vegan which sold out in 5-6 hours. While the majority who can handle whey/dairy/casein may not look into a vegan protein powder there are countless others who will. Since Redcon1 can market very well they will sell a ton of units that I can guarantee.

Well, marketing is the name of the supplement game :)

That's a strange looking nutritional panel. Whats up with the **? If there are truly 30g Protein calories would be 120 minimum.

you also cant have "58 calories" in a serving account to the FDA, it has to be rounded.

the numbers on the label also look like they were added in via microsoft paint so I doubt its legit

$15 a jar. no thanks.

Right. Seems like someone could just use PB2 for half the price if they wanted flavor with a big calorie drop.

Or here’s a novel concept: just don’t eat as much nut butter if you can’t spare the calories.

But that’s really none of my business...

The stars refer to an equivalency trial (referenced near the bottom of the can).

That's misleading labelling if ive ever seen it before.

So it's not actually 30g.

Pretty sure you can't do that lol
