The New Product Release Thread

Saw intro pricing is $34.99 for grass fed whey isolate which isnt bad at all

Need to see more feedback but a lot of people claimed it tastes exactly as fruit loops
It smells like them a lot. In water, not so much but that could've been my taste buds not responding. They do taste somewhat similar in oats, will try with yogurt and almond milk soon

I think the sweet tea Bangs will be a hit. From my experience, some companies nail the sweet tea/iced tea flavoring and some do not.

Not a huge mocha guy, but their Grandmas Cookie was awesome, based on that, I would expect this to be great as well for those that like a mocha flavor.

also label is effing sick

What is the deal with 500mg Hericium? Otherwise I like it also
It has a lot of benefits. It's neuroprotective, reduces lactic acid etc.
500mg is low but should be slightly noticeable when used often. Should be 2+ grams to have acute effects but that would be expensive.

I know, I take 3-4g a day. Not sure what 500mg would do.

I would think only a little bit over long term.
1g of good extract has nice immediate benefits for me but 500mg powder I think won't be noticeable.
But still a nice addition.
I got some EU grown Hericium, and I really like this stuff. I guess 500mg is better than nothing, but still not sure whether it is not rather a gimmick at this dosage

Mind letting me know which one/where from you got it, PM is fine too.

I'm in EU.

I’ve got so many tubs of protein laying around man, so this’ll be the first Ghost I’m missing out on. I bet this would taste like coffee cake in oats though... damn that sounds good.

In oats, now you have me thinking

C4 Carbonated Energy Drinks

Taste

Blue Raspberry Bombsicle – This is my favorite of the two flavors. Blue Raspberry is a flagship flavor for C4 and this is just another great addition to their line in the energy drinks. The blue raspberry is dense and gives you a feel of eating cotton candy at a fair. There is a slight tart of raspberry in the aftertaste that is increased due to the carbonation. While Blue Raspberry is an overpopulated flavor on the market Cellucor always finds a way to pull it off correctly.

Twisted Limeade – If you have ever had the cherry limeade flavors of Cellucor in the C4 series you know how good their limeade is. The limeade is pure, nothing artificial about it, and the carbonation helps enhance the overall flavor. What I really like about this is you get a small hint of lemonade similar to a Cherry Blade Lemonade Bang. While the carbonation is not as strong as Bang the flavor is extremely refreshing and nice to sip on. I really liked this flavor and there is the perfect amount of carbonation to not be too strong and give some people digestion issues (which I have seen with Bang).

Formula

Invalid Link Removed

The formula carries over vitamin B6 and B12 which is found in both Bang and Hyde Power Potion. There is also a performance energy blend of 6.7g that contains:

- Betaine (Performance)

- Cirtulilne (Pump, prevent lactic acid build up)

- Beta-Alanine (Performance/Endurance)

If you want to nitpick and look at the correct doses of each ingredient you would need 3.2g BA, 6-8g Citrulline Malate, and 3.2g Betaine (12-14g total) . In essence you are getting about a halved dose of each if you want to look at the scientific and studied dosages of those ingredients.

Cost

$24.99/Case of 12 which is around $2. Stop into any convenience store and most people pay that per energy drink. With a first time purchase I got a 20% off coupon for my next purchase of C4 Energy Drinks which makes them around $21 a case and under $1.80 a can. Very affordable and comparable to Hyde Power Potion and Bang in price when found on sale.

Comparison

So here is the big one most people want to know. How does it stack up vs Bang and hyde Power potion.

Let us first understand what each one has and what differs.

Bang à Stronger Carbonation, BCAA, Creatine, COQ10, B12, B6, Taurine, 300mg Caffeine

Hyde à Less Carbonation, Sweeter Taste, 350mg Caffeine, LCLT (recovery), Citrulline (Pump), Teacrine & Choline (Nootropics)

Cellucor Energy Drink à Moderate Carbonation, Very good and bold taste, Blend of Beta-Alanine (Endurance), Betaine (Performance), Citrulline (Pump/ Prevent Lactic Acid Build Up)

For those looking for the strongest energy and focus —> Hyde

If you favor straight flavor —> Bang

If you favor Performance and a good tasting product —> C4 Energy Drinks

I haven't tried the hyde drink yet, but it looks like it would be the one I would prefer!!!

Performax Labs has announced that like a lot of other supplement companies we’ve seen recently, it will be launching an amino with a blend of both BCAAs and EAAs. The product is going to be called EAAmino Max although, in true Performax style there will be more to the supplement than just aminos.

We don’t yet know the doses of anything in Performax Labs EAAmino Max, only that it will feature a full spectrum of BCAAs and EAAs. As mentioned there will be other ingredients in the mix, with the overall combination designed to help increase performance and endurance as well as improve recovery and hydration.

Fans of Performax Labs can actually look forward to getting their hands EAAmino Max very soon. The brand plans on having the amino product out and available somewhere in the middle of May, which is only a few weeks away. It is due to launch in two 25 serving flavors with Peach and Lemon Ice Tea.

This will be a solid addition to our line.

I like peach flavor!

Both launch flavors are unique in that there are not too many products out there in those flavors. The flavors will be perfect for June when summer rolls around.

This. No one seems to be able to dose it properly. IIRC, human studies used 2-3g/day.

I’ve seen 2-3g used for non-acute benefits. Do you have any research showing 500mg used daily is effective?

Agree with this. I’ve personally tried several different brands of lions mane with different extraction processes and never saw ANY benefits unless I used at LEAST 2+ grams. This was also dosing consistently over 4 months.

IMO the rest of the product looks great but they should’ve just left out this if they were going to go so weak on it. The only benefit at this amount is going to be an increase in price :)

Exactly. It’s still a solid formula without it, arguably just as solid of a formula haha.

No that's just what I've read but not sure where. I think research was with 3g.
But 500mg would really be just a very little effect and I'd imagine needs a month of daily use.

I’m pretty sure there were two human studies, one at 2g and one at 3g. One of them used cookies if I recall.

But if it requires daily use, and a month of it, then what’s it doing in a pre-workout? The same argument is often made regarding beta alanine, but some people do enjoy the acute tingling, so it’s arguable that it does “something.” I’m not sure what acute use of 500mg here would do.

Again, it’s a solid profile overall, just this is one questionable inclusion IMO.

Well, it has a wide range of benefits and I see no problem of it being there. If we make underdosing a problem then we'd be left with only a quarter of current preworkouts. Or less.
