But that's my point. There is a deep amount of happiness in being ignorant and not knowing why macros matter.

As soon as you incorporate the idea that macros add up and you have a limited budget...you have just ruined eating for the rest of life in some part...because you always have a "budget" in mind. Freedom of feeding yourself purely what you enjoy guided by general health ideas and hunger is gone.

Pros: The buttery lovechild of a county fair, a bakery, and a snack cake aisle. Wanting (and planning) to pour this crème onto a Belgian waffle. Frozen custard cylinders. Winning my town fair’s pie-eating contest in high school.

What was once a chewy, doughnutty shell was now crispy, oily, and buttery sweet—like the shell of a cannoli or the wrapper on a dessert egg roll.** But the oil didn’t leak into the fluffy, warm, and golden sponge cake inside. This created a tasty puff pastry blanket around the cream center instead of the oily mess you might find in other deep fried treats.

And can we talk about my Deep Fried Twinkies’ crème filling? Because it was fantastic. It tasted just like the creamy vanilla innards of a normal Twinkie, except half-liquefied. It had the flavor of whipped cream mixed with doughnut glaze and the viscosity of runny maple syrup.

This review is short and simple because Salt and Straw kept a basic concept and executed it well. With an over the top sea salt vanilla ice cream they implemented dense in house caramel swirls. For those who enjoy caramel this will be a hit. There is nothing that really sticks out besides high quality ice cream and thick swirls.

Country Style’s NEW Cinnamon Toast Crunch Doughnut.

But overall, Country Style’s Cinnamon Toast Crunch Doughnut was a great experience. It inspires me to make them again at home fresh, by cutting a donut and using my own sweetened cream cheese and cereal.

OK...pumpkin spice cheerios. 8/10 - like my flavored cheerios the main taste is the oats. There is a very nice pumpkin spice flavor and they even use real pumpkin puree. IMO the flavor old be stronger...and ways sweeter haha, butmif you are f of most flavored cheerios and you like pumpkin spice these will be hit, no artificial crap here
 
Kellogs pumpkin spice crunch 9/10 - these are awesome. The crunchyness is something I love. Does not get soggy fast. A bit sweeter the the cheerios but a nice pumpkin spice flavor.....these are a definite hit

Light, thin, yet rich buttery flavor possessing profiteroles that are filled with whipped cream, then "glued" together with more cream. The layer of caramel glaze and shaved almonds add the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch. On the bottom, there was a final layer of flaky puffed pastry.

Pumpkin spice hostess cupcakes 9.5/10 - to put it simply I loved these. The cake was moist, the filling was great am the I on top was perfectly sweet and a nice texture contrast from he cake and the filling. The pumpkin spice flavor was spot on as well.

I didn't remember hostess cakes being so moist and delicious so I bought the og cakes for reference...ya those sucked, dry and weak flavors....so if you aren't a fan of the originals but or a basic white girl and love your pumpkin, these will not dissapoint

Waiting for this! I don't hunt but to my buddies I'm the butcher. I can skin and fillet a deer in just over an hour. I get about 4 or 5 deers every fall from them and before winters over they're gone.

I was planing on getting both cereals regardless. Now I have to get the cupcakes too. I dislike those cupcakes in general because they are usually dry. I have to get them no due to your review.

In before my credit card company calls me and asks if I lost my card. They will probably say, we think you lost your card because we see all these white girl purchases.
 
I'm going to have to grab the crunch now.

I picked up the pumpkin mini wheats, but have not opened yet. I think they were out last year too, however I didn't check reviews.

A few months ago I recall picking up the tastykake version of the swirly cupcakes near the checkout section where they have the single serving packets and found it to be "very good" for a non-bakery item; much better than the original hostess one. Good enough to buy again...if for some reason I couldn't go to real bakeries.

Will try to think about it to make sure I have the brands right tho...

Haha right... I had the pumpkin ones and was like, these are never this good...that's why I had to get the og, and I was right, they were dry and sucked
I didn't check the ingredients but maybe they use pumpkin puree for the extra moistness

Deep Fried Twinkies

Short and sweet review here.
Outside tastes like a funnel cake you would get at a fair. Very soft and moist outer shell that has a tasty cake flavor. You get nice hints of buttery and greasy flavors that compliment the funnel cake with an added touch of sweetness. The filling is exactly as you would expect very rich and creamy. Similar to a cream filled donut but a bit hot out of the oven.

Easily a 9/10 and would highly suggest

Finally tried the cinnamon sugar chips ahoy thins booterscotch mnms, and Swedish fish Oreos last night.

CS chips ahoy- amazing texture. Super crunchy, light and airy. VERY sweet and the perfect balance of cinn and sugar. Thought these were gonna be snicker doodle but they were less cinn and more white choc and sugar. Easy 9/10

Swedish fish Oreos- as many have said, smell is EXACTLY like a bag of fish. Taste of the creme is fairly mild. Eaten solo, it's great (didn't taste medicinal at all to me like I had heard) but light. With the whole cookie it's overpowered by chocolate. Perfect balance is take off half the shell and eat separately. If you like Swedish fish and choc, they're worth the pick up. 7/10

Booterscotch mnms- they're spot on white chocolate and butterscotch. Exactly what they sound like. If you took a werthers and ate a piece of white choc with it it's the same. Very good and another perfect white choc mmm. 9/10. Top 3-5 lim ed mmm flavor for me.

I thinkntje booterscotch are my #1 the strawberry shortcake and Candy corn...,the that back...,smores are above candy corn....notice a trend.....more white chocolate!!

White chocolate flavors have been better than any regular to me.

Candy corn is still my no 1, still debating boo/shortcake as 2. Smores as 3/4

One of my fav sleeper flavors tho was the cherry chocolate ones. They were exactly like a choc covered cherry. Simple but well done.

Was talking to Junkbanter about these.. he enjoyed them, but said they are not his favorite. The name sure is enticing, but I have high hopes for them.

Here’s the interesting thing though. Cinnamon Donut Chips Ahoy! taste so much like powdered cinnamon donuts that I struggle to grasp their utility. They’re very one-dimensional, and I can’t say that I prefer them over their donut alternative. Even the textures feel redundant… soft, chewy, doughy. The only difference is that these cookies are a thick chew instead of a fluffy chew. I enjoyed the five I ate during the review, but I don’t need to eat these ever again. I’m not saying I won’t or that I didn’t just eat a sixth, but I don’t need to.
