Invalid Link Removed beef carpaccio with Parmesan bowl and balsamic dressing

Invalid Link Removed a mix of South African specialties: ox liver, venison loins, beef fillet, lamb shank, and lamb sausage

All of it was awesome. Even the liver was really good (my first time having liver too)

"Vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate chip, double chocolate & sugar cookie dough"

Invalid Link Removed

After talking to Grace yesterday I found why these temper faster then some brands (S&S, Graeters etc) She does not use any stabilizers in her base. But the buttermilk fat content is still high at 18%. The Vanilla base is decent but again not top tier like S&S and Graeters which I find superior on the ice cream market.

Invalid Link Removed

Most people are use to regular cookie dough chunks or balls in Cookie Dough Flavors. This also includes double chocolate cookie dough and sugar cookie cookie dough. All 3 Cookie doughs are good, but the regular cookie dough dominates the amount of chocolate and sugar cookie dough you get in this experience. While all 3 mix-ins are delicious the vanilla bean base has to be upgraded in future flavors to get an A. The consistency of the mix-ins are plentiful as seen in the pictures. They are in large abundant chunks like Graeter's chocolate chips.

While food was stellar in taste, the portions are literally for the birds. 5 star restaurants friggin suck and I would trade quantity for quality any day. I literally starved for 3 days while I was in South Africa. Made me feel like a native haha

You tried archer farms from target yet? I just picked some up in an effort to replace my ben and Jerry's. They are half the price haha

Nah.. Mostly stick to Little G's, Ample Hills, Salt & Straw, Graeters etc....
I may give the new B&J's a crack but it is down the list of priorities for ice cream . especially because the quality is nothing to rave over.

March Salt & Straw will probably be my next order when they roll out the most request flavors that have been out over the last few years which will all be incredible pints and well worth the $

Taco Bell Naked Chicken Chalupa
* Take my review with a grain of salt, first time being to TB in 10 years.

Invalid Link Removed

Pro's:
- Outer shell is crispy, dense, and has a good chicken flavor to it
- Plenty of toppings (Cheese, Lettuce, and Tomato)
- Surpassed my expectations for taste coming, and not very greasy.

Cons:
- $2.99-$3.49 Per Chalupa may be steep for some for fastfood
- Was not a huge fan of the Avocado Ranch Dressing (not a big avocado fan in first place)
- Around 400 Kcals, Can easily eat a lot of them and not be filling.

Yes the pic shows the quantity would be a let down. Looked great though.

That would be too much money for something that like you said doesn't look too filling. Fast food is getting so damn expensive these days.

It comes in a 5$ box with 1 Naked Chicken Chalupa, 1 Nacho Cheese Hardshell, 1 reg hardshell, and medium drink. My wife and I tried it, like Bob mentioned pretty small. The chicken was seasoned well, and I actually like the avocado ranch myself.

The regular Chalupas are the GOAT though for Taco Bell food.

I actually tried the ranch which was probably 70/30 Ranch to Avocado in taste. Not bad, but I hate avocado. Wiped it off and put on some diablo sauce and it was $$$

The shell is very good, extra crunchy, and has a very dense taste to it. But for only getting 4-5 bites of it for 3.49$ on its own.. Pretty pricy, especially because I could of ate 6 of them and not even felt my stomach fill up haha.

100% agree. The 5$ box is only way to go. They are coming out with chicken nachos next.

I stay away from Taco Bell, I'm the guy that would order and eat 6 of them!! I Love Food !!

That 5 dollar box deal actually wouldn't be bad at all. In that case looks like I'll be trying it soon!

"lightly spiced banana custard ice cream that’s ‘all shook up’ with chunks of peanut butter bacon cookie dough & Then we swirl in a ribbon of marionberry jam"

The banana base was hard to pick up a strong banana flavor. It was very light and subtle.
Once you dig in the marionberry swirl starts to take over which is absolutely incredible.

Invalid Link Removed

The chunks of cookie dough are incredibly dense, have a great flavor, but the applewood smoked bacon and peanut butter are mere aftertastes. The elements of the elvis are combined, but they are all not very strong. I would of liked the banana and peanut butter to be stronger in flavor.

Invalid Link Removed

The swirl is the strongest flavor and largest aspect of this pint, then the cookie dough, the bacon, pb, and banana flavor are all subtle to combine to make an elvis sandwich. The bacon was very good, don't get me wrong, but I only had a few specks of it throughout the pint.

Chicken Monica is a combination of the following in a nice roaster.

- Chicken thighs
- Onion
- Water
- Potatoes
- Garlic
- Salt / Pepper
- Great Crumbs
- Olive Oil

Simmer for 3-4 hours, turning occasionally, adding a little water and crumbs now and again.
Crazy good.

Of course that T-Bone Steak looks insanely good too. We cooked out on the grill some steaks the other day, and
I didn't take pics. My god that cannot be beat. Love the smokey flavor of steak.

Picked up the new Shamrock Hostess cupcakes yesterday. First time I've ever seen them (LE run). Chocolate with mint filling. I know it's cheap, processed junk food, but Hostess did a great job on the caramel apple and pumpkin spice LE cupcakes back in the fall. Will report this weekend...
