The "Bad Boy" Image

Does it bother any of you that so many women seem to fall for the "bad boy" image that so many guys try to flaunt? - Growing up in Chicago, I've seen more $hit than these people could comprehend, and I'd rip them to f*cking pieces if i needed to. Why are women so easily fooled into thinking these guys are actually bad asses? Oh, they've got tattoos, wear their Hurely hat sideways, and go fast on their crotch-rocket. What the feck? They would piss their pants if I put them in some of the situations I've found myself in on the Southside.

I know I'm not the only one here with this thought process.

"I'm so bad, I'm so bad, I should be in detention!"

Know what you mean. I find that young/dumb girls want the bad boy to rebel against their parents. Then after many years of unsatisfying sex, they come looking for guys like us. LOL

I see this **** all the time. It's one of the cons of living in a college town. They're also the same guys that do 15+ sets of bench and curls. The only time I've gotten into a fight outside was with one these "hard asses" last year. He thought he was the sit because he was about 215 or so while I was 175 at the time. An armbar and few punches later, he rethought his position and invited my friends and me up for beer. It was an odd night.

Why would you want to be with someone who wants that type of guy? unless of course you're just pissed cause a hot girl wants to be with somebody else which means you're being pissy and shallow at the same time :)

Who said anything about wanting to be with them? - Once again, I'm just pointing out foolish behavior in females.

That's another thing. Most of the time, these kinds of girls are so immature and egocentric that I wouldn't want to date them at all. I usually just laugh at them and go on with my day.

IC if you are ever where rodja lives or by me let me know... I'll hook you up with loads of these girls. I can't stand them for more than 15 minutes most of the time.

Well, everyone is attracted to someone and if you think they're foolish in their ways and you don't want to be with foolish women then why complain?

Just keep seeing these same themed threads popping up lately pointing out the issues with women, their actions and their choices... There are enough women out there that anyone can find someone with their same values, wants and desires in life and relationships. Find those and consider all of the women that have problems as bonus cause few things in life provide obvious red flags.

I give them something that keeps them from talking, so it works out fine. OK, no I don't but it's funny anyway.

yeah I feel you...but they are usually the good lookin ones (on the outside atleast), but not worth the headaches imo...I also do the same as rodja...just keep it moving!

Man i know what you mean all the time i see people try to act like there bigger then you stronger then you just because they go to the gym when they dont even know i could rip them in half. Just the fact of how they act like there better then everyone else and dont need to abide by others rules.

LOL @ Ed Hardy.. Thats who makes those prints ROFL! On a serious note though, just search for the brand name, and also the licensees.. Trendy, corporate, money bag, mind pgrogramming "YOU WILL WEAR THIS AND GIRLS WILL LOVE YOU".. nothing hardcore or cool about it.
Get some d i c k ies instead :)

hahahahha is that whats tough these days?

A few years ago before I remarried I was in a weird spot....I looked like a "bad boy" but when the girls got to know me they decided I was too nice.

Go figure.

Your assuming that the women are attracted to them because of the 'bad boy' image. It is more likely they are attracted to them for other reasons. I suggest you look into what triggers attraction mechanisms for women if you want an answer. Although it seems from your post you have just decided you don't like a certain 'type' of person and feel like having a go at them. Personally it doesn't bother me because I can out play and out game a lot of guys regardless of what tshirt they wear or how 'tough' they think they are.

Not quite... When I used to lifeguard, I would have plenty random a-ss hotties throw me their numbers looking for a "good time" per say.. Now, get this, I didnt have to spit game, or even make a pass at them. I had my shirt off and my eyes are piercing.. I was tan as hell and pumped all the time; as I would come out of the gym and head straight to the pool I was lifeguarding at. I have a fast car, brand new and people always assume I have an hardass attitude, until they get to know me... The point is, "most" girls are shallow and yes, they love the "bad boy" persona...

Do you also scream at your mother: "Mom, where is my PROOOOTEEEIN!?" "****ing skanks."

This is precisely it: while one cannot discount cultural factors entirely - that is, "wealth," "status," "power," and so on that are invariably tied up with certain manners of dress, speech, mannerisms and the like - the attraction to the "bad boy" is most likely rooted in something deeper altogether. It is not the case that "Property X" and "manner of dress p" possess some innate, inexplicable quality that attracts females to them. Rather, these possessions, or more appropriately put, the ability to obtain these possessions, is a representation of the biological status of the male: males who are able to obtain these things clearly seem able to provide, protect and secure the livelihood of potential mates - they are mere reflections of a deeper status and ability. It just so, that in this instance, these 'things' happen to be consumed up within something you find culturally and socially distasteful.

The fact remains that the manner of dress, in itself, remains entirely contingent - which is to say, secondary, changing, and unnecessary. Women across generations are invariably attracted to similar males, despite the alterations in dress, speech and mannerisms, because all these things represent this deeper, and indeed more necessary, biological factor to attraction. Again, that certain culturally-annoying symbols become attached to this biological mechanism over time is highly irrelevant. I would also say that there is no "type of girl," in the sense that phrase is being used here, that is attracted to this "type of guy."
