Is small doses of ginger 4-6 hours before ara okay? I know it is a cox 2 inhibitor, but it is in a digestive enzyme blend that I use. The blend also incorporates a small amount of n-acetyl glucosamine (150mg). For that matter, should I even be taking digestive enzymes around ara? Sorry for the hair splitting question.

It is dosed with 1st and second meal. Salads that I top with salsa (lycopene). 3rd meal is 2-3hrs later and is just a whey isolate shake. ~1.5-2 hrs later I take my SL, Carnitine, and ara. (pretty sure insulin is low enough at this point... correct me if I'm wrong.). I will also dose the enzymes with my last meal ~6 hrs after the ara dose. Any input is appreciated.

You'll be fine with your set up.
 
To clarify, the 50 days off don't start until after the 50 days on is up. So if you work out 5 days a week, you don't count the other 2 days towards the off days.

you should only be dosing on workout days so it's not 50 consecutive days (could be 70 calendar days, 50 of which are workouts)

I just know there's someone that's gonna try to count the days they don't dose as "days off" and start another cycle after 2 weeks . Maybe my explanation wasn't the best but glad you knew what I meant.

Lol. So I have to wait 50 days after my last dose... Btw, what would happen if you didn't wait 50 days? Would the inflammation from the ArA extend beyond skeletal muscle tissue? What is the concern?

Nothing, most likely. But the safety data extends to 50 days at the dosages we have outlined on the bottle. We don't recommend longer because of this
 
how many times have you guys been running ARA ? also no side effects if I keep running it as long as I Have the recommended break between the cyclea?

I've run 4-5 cycles I believe and yes, with the break you will be fine. This allows the levels to return to normal.

A good read. Placebo showed no increase in LBM? Id say poor programming, lol.

Also mindful that statistically significant and magnitude of improvement are two vastly different things. Statisitcally significant does not imply a huge improvement.

Good results for Ara overall, but just a few observations

Ok.... gonna try to get this all in one list:

Cayenne, Cumin, Garlic, Onion, Any other spices that may inhibit Cox-2. Yay or nay? (will be dosing ~4 hrs away from ara, but I eat A LOT of cumin [3-4grams with veggies].

CLA: will it interfere if dosed away from ara? (Please don't flame. It was given to me)

Melatonin, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, etc: same question.

Fennel, Milk Thistle, Fenugreek: Same question.

Adaptogens (Ash, Ginseng): same

The whey that I use (Ultimate nutrition iso sensation) has a small amount of Pinitol and Ala. Once again dosing 2-5 hrs apart from ara dosage.

Finally, Evomuse Defuse and Brite. Any stacking complications?

I would dos your ara after your warmups since you're not going to be anywhere near a fasted state just 30-60 min after eating.

bcaa's/hmb are good to go

Will it kick in during the workout? I want to feel the effects otherwise I can skip the pre workout meal and eat more later

It works via saturation.

You may notice extra pump at first, but nothing too serious.

There's really no "feel" to ara. After a few weeks you may notice better pumps but other than that there's nothing to feel

When the standard dosing was 1-1-1-1, I used to sometimes take 2-3 pre workout and I definitely noticed a difference. Better pumps.
 
Anyone heard of ELEMENT NUTRACEUTICALS. They have ArA for sell at 350mg a pill, but it looks like the company is brand new.

The label is ambiguous. Does that mean 350mg of the oil per cap? Or 350mg of Ara Powder, yielding 5% of the active (meaning 17.5mg of Ara per cap).

Considering they can't even spell Arachidonic acid (on the back label ;) , i'd be skeptical that it is what you think it is.
 
I noticed the misspell on the back label as well. Looks like I'm going with xgels for my first run.

Personly, id ask them to clarify if that is 350mg of active (doubtful as it needs to be some form of carrier - kind of like an extract)
 
It's in caps, right? It's not worth ****. It's powder which means you need a way higher dose. Skip it.

Ah yeah, if its a cap, itl be a powder
 
Is any type of carnitine good enough as an emulsifier? I have unopened ALCAR powder but also an opened bottle of carnimax containing Propionyl L-Canitine HCL that I was wondering if I could use that too?

Is 4 to 4.5 hours long enough after my last meal. Or should I try and shoot for 8+. I really don't want to change my workout time from evening to early mornings, but I will for gainz!

4 hours is plenty. Alternatively you can take it after your first heavy set of a compound lift at the start of your workout. Has worked great for me through many cycles.

This is my favorite dosing scheme. Who the hell ever has an empty stomach?!
 
Is it an ok protocol to take ARA after first heavy set with carnitine then consume carbs shortly after with BCAAs? Will the carbs consumed after ARA be negative or they ok?

The idea behind taking ArA on empty stomach or at the start of a workout is all about preventing it from simply being stored as fat, thus wasting it's benefits in muscle tissue. Once you're in workout mode, fat storage is significantly down regulated. By the time you consume post workout carbs, the ArA should already be where it needs to be, so no concern. I personally wouldn't use intra workout carbs, but I doubt that would cause the ArA to be stored as fat either.

im talking about intra workout carbs and im leaning towards staying away while using ara
 
Why are there basically only two brands out there to offer it?

Just finished my 2 bottles of X-Gels. It was alright, but I am not sure I will reorder it. And yes, I followed all the instructions including Gms, Alcar and going up to 6 caps.

Results? Thinking of trying out ArA on my next gaining phase. A bit pricey though if you factor in Gms/alcar.

The latter 2 aren't necessary, they are just useful adjuncts. It can get pricey, but unfortunately it is the cheapest it is able to be. It costs us a little bit to produce, but the results can, and often do speak for themselves.

You can optimise your results by also limiting fish oil consumption and being more cognizant of dosing without the need for the other two things.
 
Probably overthinking but is it detrimental to eat peanut butter too close to ara dose? The pb has 320 mg omega-3 per serving.

Overthinking. Obviously for the "perfect" use, wait, but honestly it'll make so little difference it's not worth the thought

10 years ago people were making a big stink about seperating all their omega-3s from their ArA dose but these days people seem to think it's ok, just don't go crazy.

I would still say that separating the dosing of the two is recommended, just unnecessary to split them hours and hours apart.
 
hi guys im going to be ordering soon and just want to ask this to make sure its ok

finish work 6am last time eaten 2am take x gels, alphamax xt, LCLT, GMS and SL (what can i take the last two with, a no carb whey?)
during workout use bsn no xplode 3.0
then after workout i go sleep so when would i take my second lot of alphamax, or do i take alpha max after workout then the second lot after i wake up?

there are days i finish work then go sleep straight away then i wake up and go gym so im guessing i just move the alphamax

If you sleep right after your workout, just consider your preworkout dose to double as your pre-bed dose. It'd be pointless to do your second dose so close to the first. Take the other when you wake up
