Ara shouldn't promote healing at all. It actually does just the opposite and causes more inflammation...
 
Which promotes healing...

Prolonged inflammation reduces it. Its slightly more complex though with Ara though as it isnt for long periods.

Ara can definitely help the body shuttle more nutrients to the muscle and amplify the training effect by creating a greater inflammatory response but the effect will be present in the muscle group that is used in that session. On other days, resting it will shuttle the Ara elsewhere to allow healing.

You're right in the sense that inflammation is necessary for repair though

If it is systemic inflammation that occurs over a long period of time, then this is bad, however a cycle of Arachidonic acid will only increase localized inflammation of the muscle tissue where it is directed. This is known as localized inflammation and not systemic inflammation.

What are your thoughts on taking CLA with ArA? Does CLA "fight for metabolism" (as you put it) against ArA?

I will come back to this. I have never really looked into CLA as it never did pan out IIRC.

I am finalizing my upcoming ArA cycle. The first time I ran it, I stuck with OT as my multi. I want to optimize this run as much as possible so have some quick questions. First, this is not a question, but I am swtiching my multi to NOW Adam instead.

First question is I have been enjoying two cans of wild planet albacore tuna each week, 2 cans a week. If you are not familiar with that brand, here is their claim, each can Averages 3,350mg Omega 3 per can, including 2,200mg DHA/750mg EPA. Should I go ahead and replace this tuna with something else?

Second, what about Tilapia? It is low in fat so I'm thinking it is alright. Finally, what about salmon burgers once and a while, maybe once a week? Should I just stick to one of the three of these?

For optimising, Id keep the salmon and Tilapia and would drop the Tuna. Some omega 3 wouldn't hurt and I continue to eat Salmon (3x per week) on my runs with no issues. Especially if its just for 50 workout days.

Sounds good. I thought the tuna might have less omega 3 than the salmon. Guess not. Also, I only plan on having fish on the days I do not dose ArA.
 
Also, LCLT vs ALCAR? Which one is better? Sorry for the elementary questions, trying to get this right this time.

No question is silly my man.

Depends on what you want from the carnitine. For memory, go with ALCAR, for performance, go with LCLT.

I use AlCAR personally

1) Does Phos Acid (PA) itself help with ArA or is it the Soy Lechitin Granules that do? (as a substitute for GMS I believe)
2) Can I use Intra-MD still? (intra carbs) I know the original post says "you can use your intra drink" but I'm not sure if that's specifying intra carbs or intra BCAAs/EAAs.

PA itself doesn't work for emulsification purposes. You need the fats from SL or GMS.

You can still use intra-carbs and be fine.

I just got rhe mn insider stack. Its two bottles xfactor and 1 test factor. At 1.5 grams its only 30 workouts worth...

I would try and grab another bottle and run for 50 days. You don't want to cut yourself short, especially when ArA really kicks in (right around week 2-3).

Yes, starting at 1 gram would be a way to do it and work your way up in dosing.

It's good for any goal but I personally would go either recomp or bulk.

I'm probably in the minority but I always start at 1g then work my way up until I find an optimal dosage...I guess I think that my body is going to change enough between cycles to make a difference....but it doens't lol

1.5 always ends up being my sweet spot.

I've just finished first week of ArA stacking with Conqu3r/Vital1ty. Great first week. What should I expect around weeks 2-3? This is my first ArA run.

Muscle fullness/body comp changes, pumps, vascularity, strength and power increases.

Appetite may increase as well. Or you may be able to get a higher caloric intake while keeping fat gain down.

Its all good with me! Already experiencing some fullness this week so keep it coming. Thoughts on going up to 1.5 vs remaining at 1.0 per day? Also thinking about extending to 50 days vs 30 based on some previous reviews?

Def do 50 days. Personally I run ArA at 1.5 grams

I would start with XFA and finish with XF.
 
I am going to be taking Pa from sl two tablespoons preworkout, which yields 1.2 g Pa. How much gms would i need. Also in terms of gms, how much does 6 grams gms translate into hydromax?

You don't need GMS if using soy lecithin.

Dose PA daily. You can drop dose if you want on off days.

4x a week of ArA is fine dosing workout days only. Some dose on off days and lower the dose but most feedback is from workout days only.
 
Question here.

Been on ArA for about 1.5 weeks now, 7 workouts. Since the start, my bowel movements have slowed down. I would normally go 5 or 6 times a week. Now, about 3. I do not feel bloated or like I have to go, I wake up hungry in the morning. My question is does ArA have an effect on bowel movements? Maybe since I am at a very small surplus, what I am eating, my body is using?
