The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

I didnt want to go through 28 pages to find out, but is there any help/use using a joint compound while taking this? To help ease joint pain? Like MSM,chondroitin, and glucosamine?
Oh and hella nice write up too! Thanks for that!

Important question for me since I'm taking a cortisone shot this week (Friday). Is it ok to continue running ara? I can do a clean stop on Monday but with my progress I dnt really want stop on day 20.

I'll be getting the shot for a "weight lifter shoulder" problem. Thx in advance

Not to go off-topic, but is your shoulder problem due to benching and especially flat benching? I suffered shoulder problems for years due to touch-and-going on bench whereas my flexibility really only allows safely letting the bar down about an inch and a half from the chest. Needless to say, new form cured any shoulder trouble.

I'd personally go for the shot and not discontinue Ara to learn something about how my body responds to things. I'm not in a position to advise others though. Good luck

My shoulder is much better now. I just dnt use flat bench anymore. I still go all the way down using DBs. If I touch flat bench it does hurt so I'll get the shot but not use flat bench for another 3 months. By then I should not feel the pain anymore.

I also have a PT that's been helping me with my flexibility and shoulder mechanics and had cleared me to bench light but to be sure I'll just avoid it since I'm liking the dbs now.

Looks like a sweet profile but and eng. said, gotta make sure you're actually getting that 750mg of ara

I'd say if it's AraSyn brand ArA then it's gtg. Otherwise you don't know the % of ara and then are kinda SOL :/

This is from description:Everyone wants to get absolutely huge, so we're here to help. Using Arasyn® among other proven ingredients, you'll have a hard time keeping the muscle off.

Looks great then. What product is this?

And yah I thought about it some more and I should stick to my original plan and stop the ArA run for now. Thx

Sounds like a sound saving of a few doses :)

They inhibit prostaglandin synthesis at the level of phospholipase A2 as well as at the level of cyclooxygenase/PGE isomerase (COX-1 and COX-2),[21] the latter effect being much like that of NSAIDs, potentiating the anti-inflammatory effect.

Emphasis mine since it is Ara we are talking about.

That is likely 75mg ArA, coming from 750mg ArA 10% powder.

Its likely not a flexibility issue, but an issue with your grip

Since Ara is pro inflammatory would it not be advised for an athlete doing repetitive exercises day after day? I understand how this correlates to bodybuilding, breakdown of muscle, repair with days off due to a split routine. What about someone who does the same movements In most training sessions ie: olympic weightlifter? My main goal is to make sure that muscle recovers, DOMS would be very bad for me as it would affect my training the next 2 days. We typically do similar exercises at every session to increase effectiveness of those movements like most athletes. So would this be soe thing to stay away from because of the inflammation? That was my thought but maybe I am over analyzing the DOMS and the muscle soreness effects.

Increased DOMS from the ArA varies from user to user, I personally don't really notice much, if any, increase in it when using XGels...and iirc, I believe there have been some athletes on AM that train like you do that have had success using ArA, perhaps they will chime in with their experiences..

For someone who is only training 2 or 3 times a week, how shoud ArA be dosed? Still only do pre-wo? (is that enough)
Or should some be taken on off days to ensure proper saturation?

Take them all pre workout and I would dose an extra day as well. 4 times per week is good.

I would get at least 3 days worth of dosing in for ArA.

He may actually be best running a lower dosed protocol like 2 per day, or 1 per day with a large 6-8 cap preWO dose on those 2-3x a week he's hitting the gym.

I worked out and dosed 3 times per week.

I found the optimal dose for me to be 1.5g pre-wo, and I am on the lighter side (75kg @ 5'10"). What I mean by optimal is the lowest dose that I started noticing increased benefits such as muscle fullness/pump, endurance, and body comp changes in general (diet was spot on as well).

I NEVER felt huge amounts of DOMS or any joint pain, so I definitely could have increased the dose to 1.75/2g just to err on the safe side of getting an effective dose, but I was trying to make my bottle last : ) I think those issues are individual and will vary person to person.

OK, worth asking here now with the introduction of PES's High Volume: the new product has rutacarpine in it, which is purportedly a rather effective COX-2 inhibitor. Activity low enough to not meaningfully interfere with ArA, or a counterproductive stack?

In the real world context, I'm certain youll still reap the benefits of both products if stacking them.

Is there any other quality source of lodhra on the market besides ABE? Running x gels for 12 weeks, don't have enough ABE

Not positive of bulk supply but I think it is in Compound 20.

Is it even worth it to do ARA on workout days only?
What if I was to add ARA to only two of my workouts a week?? Is it worth it?

You may see results if you can tolerate 2g twice a week. (8caps) but I do believe it's best if u can dose 3-4 times at least. I know some suggest adding a dose to one off day as well .. So maybe 2g on workout days and 1.5g on off days fasted for as long as possible..

I did 1.5g 3x a week and had equivalent results to 1.5g 4-5 x a week to be completely honest so

IMO that is not enough to see a return on the supplement. Pre-workout 3-4 days per week.

Does it matter when you dose the carnitine while using ArA? Or can you just dose the carnitine any time during pre-workout?

Any will do. I prefer LCLT pre-workout personally though
