Is there any effective supps available that can directly impact these 2 hormones in a potent way
Adiponectin
leptin
?
Leptin:
Please forgive me on this one for not being able to say more but its interesting that you asked about this because that's a subject I've researched a lot in the past and I'm working on an idea with someone I know that's brilliant on the subject (not a supplement industry person). I'm not sure if a product will result from it bc the ideas we have are pretty expensive to make, but we're working on it. I don't want to release more on the ingredients right now bc I don't want anyone to try to take our ideas on this one. Normally I'm not secretive about stuff I'm working on but since it involves someone else, I want to be respectful of their research and ideas.
Adiponectin:
The supplements that work the best for this imo aren't things you would commonly think of as working for it:
Raspberry Ketones:
I love Raspberry Ketones and think that they are one of the most underrated fat loss ingredients on the market. A lot of people don't know the full story on the history of Raspberry Ketones in the industry and just associate them with being one of the many ingredients that Dr. Oz promoted - and bc of the connection to Dr. Oz many casual supplement consumers bought them with a misconception of them and how they worked; and many people here on AM turned on them as they do anything that Dr. Oz seemed to mention. A lot of that mentality was a buck the trend type of thought process - and while many of the ingredients he mentioned weren't as great as he made them seem, many were really really good if the person taking them had the proper understanding of them and proper expectations.
Another issue was that in the rush of companies to jump on the hype, a lot of the products sold that claimed to be Raspberry Ketones were subpar quality raw materials.
A lot of people probably don't know or don't remember but SNS was the first company to my knowledge to ever do a single ingredient Raspberry Ketones. We had already released RK-125 and RK-500 Xtreme before the 2010 studies that really got people talking about Raspberry Ketones. And they were very popular and very well liked and continue to be by a lot of people that have used them. But a lot of people just lump them in with hype type products now days bc of the Dr. Oz connection. But what that really was is that people heard him say they were good and they thought that meant they could sit on the couch and change nothing and lose weight - and that's not what he said, but it was the crowd he was saying it to if that make sense.
How does this relate to Adiponectin? A 2010 study showed that Raspberry Ketones increased both the expression of and secretion of Adiponectin and real world feedback would definitely seem to support it with our RK-125 and RK-500 Xtreme products as they really do suppress appetite in a lot of people. I love them and add them to any fat loss stack I do generally.
Curcumin:
Curcumin has been shown to increase Adiponectin levels (and Leptin levels). The key is being able to get curcumin into the bloodstream effectively to do so because of the absorption issues related to it. We tackle this issue with our upcoming Elite Curcumin product which will include 3 different clinically researched branded forms of Curcumin all in one product. It's a truly exciting product with applications for joint health, inflammation, cardiovascular health, fat loss, and so much more.
I love supplements, love the science, and love helping people - but overall I'm not an excitable person so I get happy to launch new things but rarely get like actually super super excited about one. Elite Curcumin is one that I am super excited about. I've already been using it for 2 months and I can tell a very big difference in inflammation with it with my injuries. I hope to be launching that one in the next couple weeks.
