Tell Us What You Would Like to See From SNS & CEL (2022 Edition)

A mushroom blend using the fruiting body could mean less dosage needed, therefore requiring less cap space

I agree and its a good thought.

From a business standpoint, there are pros and cons to that - the pro being less capsule space used; the con being that 99% of people don't know the difference so they would view the lower dosage as underdosing the product even if its a better form.

Could either put it under the CognatiQ name or just generic name.

On my end, I don't dislike the ingredient but I'm also not overly excited about it either. Imo the benefit of a brand using Neurofactor is/was more about the name recognition of having Neurofactor in the product; and without being able to use the name, that appeal is gone. Ingredient wise, there are just a lot of other ingredients in the nootropic family that I prefer personally.

We may use it in something but if so, I definitely view it as a supporting ingredient more than an all-star one if that makes sense.

I think it’s unique given its measurable impact on BDNF. Blueberry extract is another that I’m familiar with that also enhances cognition through this pathway

Thank you for the suggestions. You've given me something to read up on too.

I thought about a Galantamine and we may do one at some point. I have a cool formula for a lucid dreaming product that I may include it in as well.

The Serine idea and the other two, I'll look into those. I had never thought about those before so I'm curious.
Awesome, curious to see what you think!

As a side note, seems like the crowd responded with some great participation here that drove this thread to page 5 quite quickly (although, tbh, Steve himself was probably 1/2 of the posts.. lol)

Did I miss a product release thread? ;-)

No you didn't, because as you pointed out, I was probably half the posts myself answering questions haha.

But I did say we'd release a new one when it hit page 5 so I'll do that tomorrow most likely :)

Oh, and another one when it hits page 8 ;)

We are looking at doing a capsule version of Focus XT. But its probably realistically a Q1 of next year product.

I'm honestly not a huge fan of the formula you posted; so if you like that, I think you'll love the ingredient panel I have in mind for one,
What I mostly enjoy about it is the low caffeine content. It makes it much easier to stack with pre workouts and whatever else caffeine one might get during the day.

But id love to hear your breakdown of the product im using. Always up for learning more!

I keep thinking more and more about these Gut Health Supplements and are very interested in them.

A capsule version of Focus XT caffeine free would be great. Then I could stack it with Vaso Force Rush, my absolute favorite capsule booster. I usually prefer capsules to powder and don't mind gulping down 10 or more at a time.

We make Focus XT in both a caffeine and caffeine free form and the caffeine version isn't super heavy on caffeine.

For a capsule form, I've been debating if I want to do a caffeine version and a caffeine free version or if I want to go with just a caffeine free versions bc people get caffeine from so many different sources, its always an easy addition.

I keep thinking more and more about these Gut Health Supplements and are very interested in them.

We are definitely going to be doing a very comprehensive one. There will be a LOT of branded ingredients in it so there's just some behind the scenes things that make it a pretty complicated product; but I'm hoping for a late Q4 or early Q1 of next year release.

We may also do more than one product in this category as well. I'm definitely considering doing a single ingredient Tributyrin.

Agreed. That would be a great stack. I like taking Focus XT Caffeine Free now with VasoForce Rush.

I'm really glad that you like VasoForce Rush so much. It's a great product and I'm really surprised it doesn't get talked about more on here.

I believe it was mentioned before but have you considered a standalone Divanil supplement or even a high grade nettle root extract.I understand you guys use it in M-Test but there isn’t really much of standalone supplements of that kind on the market.

Would Divanil or Nettle Root help with Libido ?

You have no idea this thread is like supplements fantasy porn where these super exciting ideas and with someone can make some of them true .

that being said
Gut health /microbiome
Is super important the more and more I read about it it’s tied to everything from the research they have found from effects on anxiety to endocrine effects to skin health just about direct impact on every thing in our bodies super fascinating man… so hopefully q4 when it launches should actually be a priority due to increase popularity ( I’m sure a lot of competition out there ) I wouldn’t dare to buy from what’s out there just can’t trust them !!

I had considered it at one point but a problem from a marketing standpoint is that most people don't understand the difference and would be comparing it to a 6.00 bottle of the regular herb. It's something that I'm still open to doing; and I do have on my list to do some articles on the subject explaining the differences and trying to increase consumer awareness of the differences.

Btw... for people that may see me mentioning articles, I used to write a lot but I used to wind up incorporating the info into the comprehensive write ups that I do or giving the articles to other people or sites to publish and me not wanting any acknowledgement. I know that sounds crazy in today's world where most people want credit for everything and their face on everything or name associated with everything, but I've always been a private person that steered away from things like that. I've had so many requests to do explanatory articles on a lot of subjects that when/if I can ever get caught up or figure out how to clone myself  I'm going to either do or contribute articles to some type of supplement blog site or something.

Would Divanil or Nettle Root help with Libido ?

Nettle is one of those herbs that has different constituents that do different things. Regular Nettle wouldn't contribute much, if anything, to libido but the type that we use in M-Test would. It's a contributing ingredient in M-Test for sure and goes along great with the other ingredients in there.

@sns8778
Any chance to have CEL whole lineup at DPS nutrition?

DPS always has the opportunity to buy anything from us and carry it and they normally do. Are there any particular products that you'd like to see for sale there that they don't carry?

I am totally loving that first line - supplement fantasy porn haha.

I love it - I wish there was a way to include that in next years thread title for this thread lol. I'm not sure if we could do that or if that's too non-PC now days but I absolutely love it haha.

Gut Health I agree is tied into a lot of different things much more than many people know.

There is definitely a lot of competition in that category and unfortunately, a lot of it is from the marketing companies that throw together the cheapest possible formula and market the crap out of it while having great margins. To do one the right way is definitely not cheap; so its always been a question of what people are willing to pay for a quality one.

I have 3 concepts for products that are in the works (actually 4, but one is so unique that I can't discuss it and give the idea away):
  • Tributyrin - single ingredient highly dosed Tributyrin
  • Gut Health - comprehensive formula - the formula is pretty much complete. I need to think of a finalized name for it. I thought about Gut Support XT or Gut Health XT but not sure yet.
  • A product that contains a prebiotic, probiotic, postbiotic, and parabiotic all in the same product.
I'm definitely open to other ideas as well.

Gut support xt sounds good !!!
Never heard of Tributyrin?
Prebiotic pro post etc idea sounds great !!!
Yes cost always plays huge factor
Only adding a comprehensive 3 ingredients is good if that means price wont be high maybe ?
Haha I’m glad u love the fantasy comment
That’s what it feels like it being in this thread !!

Well just to mix and match products from both lines ya know ?
plus their prices are the best !!!!
maybe that’s an idea to have cross websites shopping to build stacks ( could increase sales ppl add cel and sns orders same time )

Tributyrin is a postbiotic supplement. It's a great ingredient for gut health but the current ones on the market have a couple of holdbacks - the raw material smells unpleasant and the % of Tributyrin per dosage. The one we'll be launching will be better on both of those issues.

And thank you, that's the name I'm leaning towards. It will have a lot more than 3 ingredients - I want this to be the absolute best gut health product on the market; but may also do some simpler formulas later on if I see the price is too high for some people. BUT this formula will be so solid that taking a half dose of it would still be better than most other products.

And yes, I loved the comment haha :)

DPS does carry most of our products; that's why I asked if there were ones that you wanted to see them carry that they maybe didn't.

It's not possible for us to do cross website shopping with the SNS and CEL websites because they aren't connected in any way. They are completely separate websites and completely separate companies. Here on AM, they get discussed a lot of times interchangeably for convenience, but business wise they are completely separate - separate companies, separate finances, separate websites, etc. And market wide, I'd say that probably less than 5% of customer realize that there is any correlation between them at all. So, that's an idea that I wish I could do for people's convenience but there's no way to on that.

I think u said that before my bad . And they do carry a lot but not all.
And it’s not big difference what’s not available I was just make general comment
Like the apigenin etc newer products would be nice if they have it there.

We are set after that !!!

I mentioned in the post above that we already have liver support covered with Liver Assist XT.

We also already offer - Blood Pressure Support XT in the heart/cardiovascular category and in addition to that we will be releasing Cardiovascular Support XT by the end of the year and Cholesterol Support XT either by end of year or beginning of next year.

Gut Support XT is in the works.

Kidney Assist XT - labels have been printed for awhile and its in the production lineup.

I'm really excited about expanding the Health Series. My vision for that is creating the best product for specific categories and offering them at cost effective prices that people can afford. I'm also very interested in doing products for gout and fibromyalgia in the Health Series as well.

I appreciate the suggestions. Anytime you have something you want available at DPS, let me know and I'll mention it to them. I want them to stock all of the products and me being able to tell them that people are asking will help.

They have already ordered Api-Plex and should have it listed soon.

Come on guys. I want to release another new product but I said I wasn't going to until this reaches page 8 I believe. And that involves getting there without all the posts being my replies haha :ROFLMAO:

The regular Nettle root can still be good, but only for prostate which I’ve had great experience with although I’ve never experienced any test boost effects from it. That’s why I’ve always been interested in a premium high Divanil extract.

and good on you Steve, your character truly shines through your brands and help you offer here :)

You are doing phenomenal job bro
And awesome I’m glad they picking up api !!!!
And yes I know about liver assist ! I was just listing the organ support supps that should have everything completed
And oh yeah the prostate support maybe

I may just have to pick up some M-Test !

I know you guys offer Olive Leaf extract in a couple products, but would love a solo product. I’ve used it daily for years now. Even better if it could be standardized not only for oleuropein, but also hydroxytyrosol

I'm bumping for page 8 lol. My run next week will be

Recomp 20
Tta
Mitoburn
Optimize t
Neuro aet

This is for recomp and will run for 8 weeks. Going to run this into an mtest, optimize t, and either inhibit e or virtus.
I was going through old blood work and was surprised I had it drawn while on mtest. Numbers were pretty good compared to another old draw.

I forgot to mention Prostate Support XT - the formula is already done for that and the labels are being worked on right now. I'm not sure if it'll make it out by the end of the year or not but if it doesn't it should early next year.

It's funny that you mention that bc we've had the labels done and printed for one for seriously over a year. It just hasn't been a huge priority and keeps getting bumped back by other things. I need to get it released at some point bc we already have money tied up in it.

@sns8778
Also for weight loss line up
Is there any effective supps available that can directly impact these 2 hormones in a potent way
Adiponectin
leptin
?

Leptin:
Please forgive me on this one for not being able to say more but its interesting that you asked about this because that's a subject I've researched a lot in the past and I'm working on an idea with someone I know that's brilliant on the subject (not a supplement industry person). I'm not sure if a product will result from it bc the ideas we have are pretty expensive to make, but we're working on it. I don't want to release more on the ingredients right now bc I don't want anyone to try to take our ideas on this one. Normally I'm not secretive about stuff I'm working on but since it involves someone else, I want to be respectful of their research and ideas.

Adiponectin:
The supplements that work the best for this imo aren't things you would commonly think of as working for it:

Raspberry Ketones:
I love Raspberry Ketones and think that they are one of the most underrated fat loss ingredients on the market. A lot of people don't know the full story on the history of Raspberry Ketones in the industry and just associate them with being one of the many ingredients that Dr. Oz promoted - and bc of the connection to Dr. Oz many casual supplement consumers bought them with a misconception of them and how they worked; and many people here on AM turned on them as they do anything that Dr. Oz seemed to mention. A lot of that mentality was a buck the trend type of thought process - and while many of the ingredients he mentioned weren't as great as he made them seem, many were really really good if the person taking them had the proper understanding of them and proper expectations.

Another issue was that in the rush of companies to jump on the hype, a lot of the products sold that claimed to be Raspberry Ketones were subpar quality raw materials.

A lot of people probably don't know or don't remember but SNS was the first company to my knowledge to ever do a single ingredient Raspberry Ketones. We had already released RK-125 and RK-500 Xtreme before the 2010 studies that really got people talking about Raspberry Ketones. And they were very popular and very well liked and continue to be by a lot of people that have used them. But a lot of people just lump them in with hype type products now days bc of the Dr. Oz connection. But what that really was is that people heard him say they were good and they thought that meant they could sit on the couch and change nothing and lose weight - and that's not what he said, but it was the crowd he was saying it to if that make sense.

How does this relate to Adiponectin? A 2010 study showed that Raspberry Ketones increased both the expression of and secretion of Adiponectin and real world feedback would definitely seem to support it with our RK-125 and RK-500 Xtreme products as they really do suppress appetite in a lot of people. I love them and add them to any fat loss stack I do generally.

Curcumin:
Curcumin has been shown to increase Adiponectin levels (and Leptin levels). The key is being able to get curcumin into the bloodstream effectively to do so because of the absorption issues related to it. We tackle this issue with our upcoming Elite Curcumin product which will include 3 different clinically researched branded forms of Curcumin all in one product. It's a truly exciting product with applications for joint health, inflammation, cardiovascular health, fat loss, and so much more.

I love supplements, love the science, and love helping people - but overall I'm not an excitable person so I get happy to launch new things but rarely get like actually super super excited about one. Elite Curcumin is one that I am super excited about. I've already been using it for 2 months and I can tell a very big difference in inflammation with it with my injuries. I hope to be launching that one in the next couple weeks.

Thanks for sharing that M-Test has positive benefits on your bloodwork in the past. It has for mine as well - very good improvements in free testosterone levels and LH levels especially in my case.

Optimize-T + M-Test + Inhibit-E is an awesome stack.

Your above stack sounds awesome. I think that you're going to love that and experience great results from it. I look forward to hearing your feedback.

That’s sound exciting and I love it too
I tried so many supps that I lost faith in the hype and bullshjt!t
For the most part not a single supp I tried from sns tht didn’t deliver what’s promised !!! Only one is going to give it away is the sleep support just since I can’t handle melatonin it destroys my sleep.
Once Dps start carrying api plex will scoop some since I see it helps with sleep too .
I just can’t believe a single ingredient like apigenin have so many benefits

Will definitely be buying the elite curcumin product. Huge fan of curcumin in general, and would love to see the SNS version

All of these targeted health products are great. Something for everyone out there.

Definitely interested in anything that could help even the tiniest bit with the daily symptoms of nerve type conditions. Having small and large fiber neuropathy can make many days a challenge. Especially getting workouts in. I imagine that could be wrapped in to the fibromyalgia type product as the conditions can be similar(ish).

What if you take the route Animal did? Basically their caffeine/stim pill in the pack was separate and a different color (red), so you could easily decide on any given day if you wanted/needed it or not.

I appreciate the suggestion. That's a very good idea but with the target market for Focus XT, I think we need to go with a simple approach.
We've decided that there will be both a regular version (with stims) and a stimulant free version of the capsules.

(And also bc with Focus XT caps since the market for the product is so many different types of people, going with Veg caps is important and the only options for Veg caps are clear and white; no color options).

I have thought about packs for some CEL products and had looked into it in the past. The issue with the packs is that it increases the cost to make the products, MOQ sizes, container sizes, etc. Animal can pull that off because they're an absolutely huge company and also because they are typically cost conscious in how they formulate their products.

Thank you for the kind words.

As a company, SNS and CEL both probably suffer from the reverse - in that we don't overhype or heavily promote the products enough. I love the science, I love helping people, and I want the products that we release to really make a difference in people's lives. But I suck at marketing and that is a big detriment to the company because we make a lot of great products but not nearly enough people know about us.

Sleep Assist XT is a great product but of course if you don't respond well to Melatonin then its not a good choice for you. From a formulation and sales standpoint, Melatonin is by far the best selling sleep ingredient so not including it would have been very detrimental to sales bc most people will automatically not buy a sleep product without it in there.

That leads to my next part though in that now that we have the Melatonin sleep product covered, we do plan on doing a different type of sleep and relaxation product in the future that will be Melatonin free. The name will most likely be Sleep Support XT unless I can come up with something more clever.

DPS should have Api-Plex listed soon.

Apigenin is a really cool ingredient and it definitely has a lot of potential uses. Keep in mind, going back to the I don't overhype part, no one is saying that its the absolute best ingredient for some of the things that it does - but its awesome that it does support so many different things; and there's tons of legit research to back a lot of it up. Very fascinating ingredient.

As for Apigenin and sleep, I think its important to note that from my experience and opinion that it helps improve sleep quality but doesn't actually make a person sleepy. As in its not going to ruin your day to take a dose earlier in the day. I hope that makes sense.

In my folder of ideas to work on and formulations in progress, I have a starter sheet for ingredients related to nerve conditions. I wanted to let you know that I am taking the idea very seriously and looking into it.

I do think that it could have some crossover with the Fibromyalgia product. That's a good observation on your end and something I have in my notes as for the nerve health product - for the potential crossover.

For nerve pain and neuropathy, you may want to check out moderate to high dose Borage oil. I haven't checked the research itself but I have an autoimmune condition and have gone to specialists at both UVA and Duke and both places suggested Borage oil so I thought that was interesting that high level specialists at two different facilities hundreds of miles apart recommended it.

I wanted to also say that I'm sorry that you suffer from that. As someone with an autoimmune condition, I know that pain related things can make life itself a challenge and that most people can't begin to understand what its like if they don't have something like that. I know that the nerve issues are different than my autoimmune one, I'm just speaking from the effects they can both have on quality of life.

A possible stack that I would be interested to see how it would help you - and I'm not confident enough to say that it would help with nerve pain bc there just isn't enough research, so it would be complete theory on my end - but would be the upcoming Elite Curcumin stacked with the upcoming Muscle Addiction Recovery Fix product.

I've recently started stacking those 2 together and I can tell a huge difference. In my situation, with the accident, I'm healing from broken bones and a huge amount of tissue and nerve damage where the bone went through the calf muscle. I started them to help with inflammation and to help with the muscle soreness that's coming from physical therapy and learning how to walk again but I've been very surprised that the nerve related pain I've had to deal with in the side of my leg from where the bone came through has subsided quite a bit since stacking them.

Does Melatonin need cycled, or can you take it everyday ?
