Pleasant surprise seeing that released!
It might be something you need to keep an eye out for at some stageSame here I just ordered the twin pack. I seen it stacks well with Metabolic Xtreme in the description, what is Metabolic Xtreme?
That was an untrue rumor started by another company. What really happened is around the time they stated that, the raw material price for TTA went up by over 50% so they were just giving a reason for them stopping using it. There were never any gov't letters or anything like that on TTA.If I'm not mistaken the rumor was pressure from the pharmaceutical companies who were also looking into TTA. That might also mean it could very well be a noncompliant ingredient. I'm not really familiar enough though.
Unfortunately, no idea. They sometimes aren't very responsive to wanting to bring in new single ingredient items. They normally say that single ingredients don't sell well, etc. But then from our end, we always get asked when they will bring things in or why they don't. I really wish they would stock more of the products to give them a chance, even if they just ordered in small quantities.Any idea if powermyself in the uk will be picking up Paradoxine?
Good eye haha.Same here I just ordered the twin pack. I seen it stacks well with Metabolic Xtreme in the description, what is Metabolic Xtreme?
TBD haha... theres always a nugget in the descriptions of the newer products it seems!Same here I just ordered the twin pack. I seen it stacks well with Metabolic Xtreme in the description, what is Metabolic Xtreme?
I’ve posted this before, but I wonder if Apigenin is best utilized as a standardized percentage of a different herb, such as chamomile (ie 600mg chamomile standardized for 1.2% Apigenin). Flavonoids can have low bioavailability, so I wonder if consuming it in its natural form as much as possible would be more beneficial. Maybe that in tandem with AstraGin or something of the sorts. Why do I suggest Apigenin with an absorption enhancer...

Focus XT has a nice dose of LuteinI'm still here wanting a top tier eye health supplement
@Jiigzz this was my pitch for a nootropic/eye health product.Kemin also manufactures FloraGlo Lutein and ZeaONE Zeaxanthin. Lutein and Zeaxanthin are commonly utilized for vision health, but also have some research supporting cognition. You’re the expert in sourcing, but a capsule formula of the below would be great for cognition and vision health (and I would assume you could capture some supply chain efficiencies by sourcing all three from one supplier - if the price is right):
900mg Neumentix
10mg Lutein
2mg Zeaxanthin
This study used 10mg Lutein and 2mg Zeaxanthin: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5707718/#idm140504334900656title
Just throwing some ideas out.
It's hard to sell more of something you don't stock. Story of my life right now, lol.Unfortunately, no idea. They sometimes aren't very responsive to wanting to bring in new single ingredient items. I would encourage anyone that wants them to to please ask them. The more inquiries they get, the more likely they will be to bring it in.
It sure does. Steve and I discussed Lutein a bit when he was developing a new formula for Focus XT and I believe it takes it to a whole new level. Benefits for eye health and cognition.Focus XT has a nice dose of Lutein
I like it. I haven't heard of Neumentix before. This seems like it could be a great addition to a focus supplement as well.@Jiigzz this was my pitch for a nootropic/eye health product.
I think Swanson may be the only to put it in a solo capsule product. Could potentially be a solid choice for a capsule nootropic product since the dosage is 900mg. Bit more info below:I like it. im about to place a large order for BAIBA but want to make sure SNS isn’t about to release a product soon. You guys seem to have more acceptable dose-to-price points in comparison to others. For me, 500mg twice daily is the sweet spot.We had a thread last year that produced a lot of suggestions. Some we were already able to offer and some are in various stages of production.
I wanted to start a fresh thread to get some ideas to see what people would like to see from SNS and Competitive Edge Labs in 2020.
Feel free to suggest single ingredient and/or combination ideas.
Thanks and I look forward to seeing everyone's ideas.
Apigenin 300mg
BioPerine 10mg
Per capsule.
I've thought about an Apigenin before but not sure if there is enough demand for one solo or not. I'm open to it if enough people want it.Why do I suggest Apigenin with an absorption enhancer...

I have a tentative formula for it. It's been awhile since I've looked at it so I need to look at it again and possibly update it. I definitely want to do it, we just have so many new things lined up and the Covid situation just put everything behind.I'm still here wanting a top tier eye health supplement
The eye health product is one that I definitely want to do; but it isn't traditionally a strong selling category so we just have to time it right to make sense. It's one I want to do to really help people, but I don't expect it to sell that great no matter how good of a product it is. Which is something I've never understood - that category of supplements having such weak sales bc eye health is something I would consider so important. It sure does. Steve and I discussed Lutein a bit when he was developing a new formula for Focus XT and I believe it takes it to a whole new level. Benefits for eye health and cognition.
I always have lutein and zeaxanthin on hand, but I think we can take it up a notch. The problem is this type of supplement isn't necessarily one you 'feel'.
Thanks for asking. We don't have any immediate plans of making one and haven't really been asked to. It's something I would definitely be open to if enough people were interested. L stereoisomer BAIBA appears to be the most beneficial for fat loss. This is available as “MitoBurn” from some company. I’ve found 500mg twice daily is the most effective doses. 1g BID is crazy thermogenic but not really cost effective. Things that appear to synergize with it include 6-paradol and EGCG.Thanks for asking. We don't have any immediate plans of making one and haven't really been asked to. FYI just saw Steve’s post in a different thread that there will bePlans for SNS/CEL Black Friday sales?
Yes, we will be offering some. I'll do my best to get them started and posted later on tonight.Plans for SNS/CEL Black Friday sales?
Thank you for the information. I'll definitely look into this.L stereoisomer BAIBA appears to be the most beneficial for fat loss. This is available as “MitoBurn” from some company. I’d also be interested. Especially with the potential with synergy with ParodoxineThank you for the information. I'll definitely look into this.
We've had a couple of people ask for this before but I don't think anyone has asked us for the branded ingredient version.
Do you think that the branded ingredient version is necessarily better than the non?I’d also be interested. Especially with the potential with synergy with Parodoxine
From my limited research, if you went non branded, I think you’d want to confirm L-isomer (as opposed to D-isomer, I believe). That’s my initial understanding, but I mainly looked at the Mitoburn suppliers (NNB) website.Do you think that the branded ingredient version is necessarily better than the non?

Is this one of those solo ingredients with a huge cost discrepancy between branded and non-branded (such as Pycnogenol vs Pine Bark extract)?
should all be the same if you test it. I’d definitely try unbrandedDo you think that the branded ingredient version is necessarily better than the non?
We usually go the branded ingredient version if there is a reason to - like if its a certain type or standardization. Many times branded ingredient versions have studies to back them up; but then sometimes they're just fancy names put on something and marked up exponentially. In this case, I haven't looked into this ingredient yet enough to know which is why I wanted to ask anyone that may have. I appreciate the info and knowledge.should all be the same if you test it. I’d definitely try unbranded
The D stereoisomer is elevated at rest and is the same (quantity) for obese and non-obese people. The L stereoisomer is released from muscle and has direct effect on browning for WAT. Lean people have significantly higher levels of L-BAIBA in comparison to the obese. It also has other beneficial effects on bone. A 50/50 mixture would be 50% less effectiveWe usually go the branded ingredient version if there is a reason to - like if its a certain type or standardization. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll definitely look into it. One reason that some companies may be hesitant to release this as a single ingredient is because the company that distributes it doesn't allow the product name to be the ingredient name; so anyone looking for it by name still wouldn't find it by name. I hope that makes sense. But that can severely diminish sales of something on the single ingredient side. Basically, if we did an EnXtra single ingredient, we couldn't use EnXtra in the name anyway so I think that would hurt sales.I've been seeing companies over in the U.K. adding EnXtra to their PW formulas but unfortunately
here in the states only Inspired and another small co. have added the 300mg dosage to their pre's.
I haven't tried anything YET with this ingredient but from reading feedback so far on DVST8 Union
it looks like EnXtra is the ingredient that is supercharging the energy and stimulant ingredients in
this PW and the ones over in the U.K. so I've been searching all over the web looking for just the solo
ingredient EnXtra just to add to pre's that I have on hand but I haven't found any yet. This might be
something SNS might want to look into as a stand alone ingredient in 300mg caps to help give pre's
and other caffeine based supplements a boost without having to add more caffeine. Just and idea for
one of my favorite companies that do great stand alone products.

That explains it so you could actually source it from the co. which is a specific extract of gingerThank you for the suggestion. I'll definitely look into it. I'll check. Believe it or not, some branded ingredient companies don't even want their ingredients on the front of the label. Most are appreciative, but some are weird about it.Could you do the following on the label:
"Name of Product"
NOW WITH
EnXtra!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol
I'm going to look into it. I'm open to using it in things, just not sure how it would work out for a single ingredient. That explains it so you could actually source it from the co. which is a specific extract of ginger
called Alpinia Galanga and so far it looks like 300mg is the effective dosage and call it INTENSITY!
On another note one of my favorite supps from SNS arrived yesterday from DPS and my joints and
tendons will be content for A WHILE!

I've only recently became aware of Enxtra. I see various places sell the extract, root, plant, etc. Anybody know if those are effective or have experience trying those forms? That explains it so you could actually source it from the co. which is a specific extract of ginger

Is enXtra any good? I’ve had some other galangal extracts and they made me relaxed rather than stimmed up.I've only recently became aware of Enxtra. I see various places sell the extract, root, plant, etc. Anybody know if those are effective or have experience trying those forms?
It's NOT the Galangal Extract that you mentioned cause that one is used for health benefits and you canIs enXtra any good? I’ve had some other galangal extracts and they made me relaxed rather than stimmed up.
interesting. Thanks for the intelIt's NOT the Galangal Extract that you mentioned cause that one is used for health benefits and you can
find that all over. The one that works with caffeine and other stimulants is labeled EnXtra and it looks like
it's used in 150mg -300mg and it's a definitely a different extraction then common one seen on Amazon
and other stores. I even called the co. cause they have an office in NJ and asked if they could sell me some
but they said NO DICE only companies that are formulating can have access to their product but they
recommended contact Bulk Supplements and ask them to start carrying it and if enough people do that
then they might look into carrying it but they would need a lot of requests for it to consider it for their line
of bulk supplements.
I know I’m quoting a comment from March, but looks like TWK10 won’t be available for any brand to sell. For probiotics, I'd love to see the following:
TWK10 as mentioned earlier
Lactobacillus plantarum PS128
Bifidobacterium longum OLP-01
Bifidobacterium breve B3
All have interesting potential for muscle, recovery and endurance
