That arm bar is sick. I'm going to try to pull one of those off in competition if I get a chance.

I didn't lift yesterday. I had a fever and bad body aches.

I still have a slight fever but I hope going to BJJ will up my immune system to fight it off better.

I will update later tonight on BJJ training, nutrition, and overall sense of well being.

Here's a video of rolling with my girlfriend's brother last summer. (Just messing around, nothing serious)

I will video all of my competitions. Whether I do well or bad. I kind of want to tape all my trainings so I can watch film on myself so I can up my progress.

Day 30: Tuesday 11/18/08 BJJ

Today was a real productive day. By far the best day since my return to training. My knee didn't feel that bad and I was more mobile than I have been recently. WF gave me some very good energy and focus throughout training.

We worked a single leg take down when I got there. I didn't quite get the mechanics down and I feel I will have to drill it some more.

Next we worked some entrances to the omoplata. He showed us a new way of getting into position for omoplata. Then, he showed us the roll escape into guard for an on going drill. We did that for a while then we rolled.

I rolled 3 straight times today (10 minutes each roll). I first rolled with this white belt dude that had been getting the better of me since my return, partly due to his explosiveness and partly due to my rust. I was able to dominate him in positions today and also submitted him with an armbar. I felt good about my roll with him because I didn't use strength, power, or explosiveness but just 100% technique.

I then rolled with this purple belt dude who has been getting the better of me all along. Today was no different. Using 100% technique he was able to get full mount and armbar me each time. I am obviously missing a piece of the puzzle to his game. I am missing a window of opportunity that I am unaware of which is very frustrating, because I don't know how to fix it yet.

For my last roll, I rolled with a beginner no belt. I gave him my back and worked out of it to full mount. I gave him side control and worked out of it to full mount. Then I pretty much kept him in closed guard while allowing him to escape some omoplatas and triangle positions. He will be a quick learner.

The best part of that video is when your girlfriend "i'm assuming" says .. "Triangle Baby, Triangle". First it's awesome because she follows enough to know what the termanology is which is sweet for you. Second it's awesome because she follows it up with "Got that Sh!t" or something similar, haha

Your progress has been amazing by the way.

Haha, I was actually thinking that he would pick up on what she said. As I was preparing him, but he didn't. He doesn't train anything though. Yeah, that's my baby.

She follows along my sport and supports me. It helps for her to have an interest in it because it motivates me that much more. It's pretty cool to have your girl into your sport. She even wants to try it out, but due to scheduling issues she can't.

Thanks man, I really appreciate the comments. I can't wait to show you guys videos of competitions. Should be rather interesting.

Major DOMs from deadlifting btw. And, I LOVE it.

Will update later tonight. I rolled with my instructor.

Needless to say... he ATE MY FACE a lot.

Yo man lets get some pics up! Im sure youve made some great progress!
I'm already at 32, I think I'll just wait the full 40 to post pics. I haven't gained much weight though. I'm sort of ashamed.:run:

Day 32: Thursday 11/20/08 BJJ

Yet another good jiu-jitsu day. I just realized that I didn't feel any pain in my knee all day. However, I still have the psychological effects tied with the injury. But actual pain, I did not feel all day. The osteo-sport and fish oil have officially started working. This is only the second day of osteo-sport and my knee is already feeling sexy. This will no doubt become a staple of mine as it will be necessary if I want to walk by the time I become a black belt.

Anyway, we worked some more omoplatas today. We learned the variation that Hazlett used this last weekend, and four different ways to submit your opponent. Good stuff indeed.

The first roll I sat out so I could put on my knee protection thingy and there wasn't any more mat space. So my first roll I had with the little guy the yellow belt. I gave him my back numerous times along with all the other positions. I can honestly say he is progressing. More so with his level of intensity and aggression, which in turn makes his game better. I'm happy for him.

My next roll was with my instructor. I asked him for a roll, but today he ate my face like he hasn't eaten my face in a long time. The only good move I had was a triangle escape. However, I set myself for a triangle on the opposite side because of that. Lol. He pretty much tapped me with everything in the book on arm locks. This dude is a phenom man, but I also sucked it up very much. I've done better against him before. By the end I was just a body that couldn't move.

I dosed the WF 4-4 today, because my training is so late I didn't want to be a zombie all night. Maybe that is why I ran out of gas today, and not so much Tuesday? Who knows, I just know that WF in general just makes me feel good at lower dosages. And, at higher dosages I seem to have that coupled with a feeling of never ending energy. I don't mean like literal super energy. I mean like, it seems WF leaves me boundless in terms of how much volume to do. If I left the gym once I was physically exhausted while on WF, I would lose precious eating time and probably over train.

That was it today. Here's a video of my instructor:

Nah don't even worry about it....I got the jist of the fight from that clip. Impressive submission definitely. Very quick "shoot" as well.

"shoot" - I don't know the proper termanology in Judo...but when he leapt forward with his legs to wrap around his opponent. Since it's called a shoot when you do it with your arms in wrestling...I figured i'd call it that ;)

Cool vids man! And dont worry to much if you arent gaining. Prob having some recomp goin on! I recomped on cre02 pretty easily

Not that far off actually. But I don't think we call it anything around here other than "shoot your hips up." I call it awesomeness.

What Im saying is you prob are gaining lbm and loosing bodyfat. So you are gaining muscle just not fat. nahm sayin?

Truedat truedat. I kind of enjoy putting on some blubber in the winter though. Helps with the cold. And, when I cut the transformation experience is cool too.

Lmao, I seen that the other day. That is really funny. I wonder how many times in the history of that sport it has happened and how many brawls ensued. Good stuff.

I flew down to Los Angeles for my girlfriend's sisters wedding on Friday. However, Saturday morning I was up early looking for a gym and found a 24 hour fitness a block away! I wasn't excited for the 10 dollar one day workout charge, but oh well. I did get a pretty good workout in. My knee felt pretty good. No popping no weirdnessess just good pounding. I was able to put substantially more weight than last time on my widow makers. I'm going to have to keep an eye on myself with my form while I add weight.

I'm no longer feeling any pick me up from the White Flood. I think this was the first day that I felt that way. But, I still do get a good focus and nice concentration from it. I also still feel the BA working as far as my endurance goes, but no more tingles. I didn't think it would last this long, most supplements do not last that long for me. So WF gets a thumbs up in that department.

No nutritional data, but I did eat tremendously the whole weekend. I hope my numbers won't be wack come Friday.

Nice w/o bro! But just to let you know widowmakers is different from what you have listed. What widowmakers is - is you do 2-3 warm up sets with light weight (around 10-12 reps) and then you do a 20 rep set with the heaviest weight you can do. Rest pausing from around 11-13th rep. Great for leg growth! Youre looking great tho bro! Keep it up!

I thought widow makers were another term for ass to grass squats?

Thanks for correcting me, lol I was probably looking like an idiot. Good looking out man. :)

no you didnt look like an idiot but yeah keep doing ass to grass if thats what youre into! As am I! :D:D

I think it's my new favorite move. It's funny how you take what you read in magazines or what people tell you as a general rule. Like Volcom said, some people can do it, some can't. I happen to be flexible enough to do it. I just have to maintain good form when I start to really add weight. Should be good stuff though. I'm hungry as hell today, wtf.

I will be updating tonight with workout, nutrition, and BJJness.

Stay tuned, this is my last week of WF. :( Pictures should be up this weekend along with new weight number!

Lookn forward to it bud!

Some pretty good progress. I'm happy to progress in the military press. That's my target. Today I didn't work triceps because they got worked enough. In fact, my triceps died on me today. First time that has happened to me in literally years. Usually my triceps are very well conditioned to deal with all the weights or sets I throw at them in compound movements. Had they not died I would have done better in my last exercise. Oh well. No more tingles guys. :( I still had good focus in the gym though.

I had a nice pump in my biceps, but it wasn't insane. Just nice and solid.

I had a mini-vacation this whole week starting Thursday. My mom flew in from San Diego and my brother asked me to spend the weekend at his house, so I did. I ate like a monster this weekend, so we will see if it did anything to my weight.

I will be posting my final review and all that good stuff tonight.

Killer workouts bud! You did a great job with this log! Ive been impressed all the way through with your detailed post and your dedication to your workouts. You got some strong ass shoulders bro!:clap2: Lookn forward to the final review! Keep killn it bruther!

White Flood Log Final Review

Final Review

White Flood vs. RPM
My goal in this log, besides the obvious determination of WF's efficacy, was to compare these White Flood tablets to RPM. I had been told that White Flood powder had a better ingredient profile for bulking than RPM (which is also a great supplement in its own right).

After the duration of this log, I would say that I believe WF does have an edge on RPM in the bulking aspect (for me at least). I like that WF does not give you that stimmed out feeling of rage that RPM does. Instead I feel a more natural energy and boost in willingness to just keep on going. With RPM I felt like I needed to go 100 miles per hour, but I really only enjoyed it when I was doing circuits, supersetting, tri-setting, or any other high heart rate activity. I do not want that type of experience when bulking. With WF, I had the type of energy where, at the end of workouts I would think to myself, "I'm done already?" WF made me want to add more volume to my workouts because I could handle more volume while using WF. Not the case with RPM necessarily.

However, it must be noted that if you are working out first thing in the morning and you pop WF on an empty stomach, you might get a stimmed out rage type of experience, like I did.

Actual Experience Versus Product Claims
* Fast absorbing and fast acting
I would have to disagree. In my experience 45 minutes pre-workout was not enough. On an empty stomach, maybe. However, most of the time the sweet spot for me was about 60-90 minutes.

* Synergy, strength and stamina
I would agree. I did have nice strength gains from this supplement, but it was indirectly. To elaborate, the added volume of my workouts was directly by WF, but the strength gains were due to the added volume and stamina.

* Endurance and extreme pumps
I think endurance and stamina are the same thing. Either way, I agree about endurance, but not about the extreme pumps. I would be a liar if I said I didn't experience pumps. Very often I did. However, I didn't have EXTREME pumps consistently or even most of the times. I'd say it was a step above normal pumps that I'd get without WF, if anything.

Would I buy this supplement/Use it again
Yes, I definitely would use this supplement. Yes, I would definitely buy this supplement. Keep in mind that it gives you 40 servings which could last someone 3 months if they only took it on training days (training 3 times a week). That's not a bad deal for 40 bucks. I also enjoyed the focus that this supplement gave me, which I have never felt before. I felt like this helped me perform higher quality reps and feel the muscles working better.

I don't see any visual progress. But, at least I made some good hypertrophy strength gains. I will link my next log (Intra-Aid & Beta Ala9) in this thread once I start that log. I hope to get all my log buddies from this thread on the new one too as you guys help me with motivation and insight.

Awesome review. I actually see visual progress. You gained ~7lbs, your back looks wider too. Thank you for logging this bro, great job!

Thanks RR. And, thank you for the opportunity to try out this new product and log it. I genuinely hope my logging efforts were along the lines of what you were looking for.

Nah bro you bulked up! Back looks SICK!! Im jealous!! Nice work bro! :clap2: I really enjoyed this log! Whats next in your arsenal?

Running an Animal log Intra Aid and Beta Ala9. I will link you guys up here. Or hunt you down. :)
