ive began to notice a lot of the supplemets that are in a powder form (ex: aminos, protein powder, no2, etc) do not contain the number of servings as listed by the companies.
i started noticing this when i thought i was going through my protein powders pretty fast. so i started counting how many servings i got per item. every time i used that item i would make a tally mark on the side. i would also date it when i started using the product. so say protein powder. say it has 60 servings. i know for a fact i use it daily at 2 level scoops a day. that should last me 30 days. unfortunately i started noticing a lot of supplements were failing to give me correct serving amounts.
the following supplements i noticed were coming up short on servings:
-scivation xtend
-dymatize elite whey
-dymatize 12 hour elite whey
these 3 are my everyday supplements. i use them religiously. my judgments are not souly made on just ONE container from each, but 3 containers. i noticed a 90 serving xtend was only giving me roughly 72 level scoops. dymatize elite whey roughly 55 level scoops. and the dymatize 12 hour whey was roughly 51-52 level coops.
you probably never pay attention or notice it, but next time you order something just pay attention to it. you may be surprised your getting cut short by supplement companies. you may not think its a big deal, but when supplements are $.50-1.00 a serving, that adds up!
***i would like to hear your thoughts on this subject. if it has happened to you, or you have noticed the same thing occurring please speak up. thanks***
