Good advice guys!!
Yesterday's workout:
Got in a whole uppper body workout, but most of the time was spent try8ing to improve my bench. I've noticed my sticking point is at the bottom of the rep, so I went and racked some weight, chest level, and practiced pushing it off my chest, guess you could call it "Positives" in stead of "Negatives". That really seems to be my sticking point, mid way and lock-out are fine. So, with that said, that's what I'm going to work on. I do get quite a bit of shoulder pain when I go down that low, regardless of grip width, always have, and moreso in my right one, pretty much around the front delt. Anyways, Had a serious pump going on there, felt great!! A couple guys there said I was going about it right, if that's where I'm sticking waht do you guys think?
From there, moved onto my routine. Not much to report there, really thrashed my front delts from prior, so didn't hit the number I was looking for on shoulder press, but came close. On a good note, I was able to toss around some 70lbers for Pinwheel curls, managed 10 of them. I used some body english on the last 3, but just wanted to get to 10 real bad. Threw in some weighted dips, something I need to start doing. I the past, I avoided these because they gave me grief in my shoulders, they still do, but not as bad, so we'll see. My guess is now that I'm lighter than then by 50+ lbs, lol, and a bit more built up to take some of strain off the joints, that could be why it doesn't bother me as much. I was able to add a 45lb plate and knock out 10, then added a few more. Other than that, nut much to report except even with low reps and low volume, it's still impossible NOT to get a pump with Hemo, that's guarandamnteed.
