TITLE:
Citadel would buy Robinhood if regulators crack down on this one money-maker: Interactive Brokers founder
Government is doing what they can to protect the market overall, which means its protecting citadel and other large hedgefunds. So Citadel probably won't get in trouble. Citadel is going to have to pay up, but the government is putting things in order to ensure their survival, and the survival of the market. A managed squeeze.if citadel buys RH only bc govt can crack down on RH .. isnt this a slap on the face and basically saying govt/sec wont do anything to citadel ?
Yeah, have no confidence in that. Only a fraction of the people signed up for the AMC Investor Connect, like a very small fraction, and it's real easy to do. So my assumption is only a all fraction will vote.Try to make sure you get your AMC vote in today, mostly so they can get a better retail investor count. Today is the last day.

I thought so too, but I thought that number was not accurate, and many others thought so.I dunno, last time they were able to account for 80% of the shareholders being retail. If I understood everything correct that was based off of vote but maybe Im wrong?

I understand AA as CEO doesn't want to stir the pot to jeopardize AMC, or his standing with the company by "defending a squeeze".If I remember correctly alot of international traders werent even included, so the number may have been more.
Who knows if they are telling the truth, I never saw the audit. Maybe retail investor owns 180% LMFAO and they didnt want to set a nuke off???
Woooo congratulations! I'm settled in my new home in Texas, and it's a great blessing.Alright guys...we just put an offer on our next house we're moving to...I need some strong AMC action the next few days!!!
Thanks. Housing market is up there so I need amc to do something for those closing costs lol.Woooo congratulations! I'm settled in my new home in Texas, and it's a great blessing.
Look into grants if your realtor has not already. There are many things available to help with closing costs.Thanks. Housing market is up there so I need amc to do something for those closing costs lol.
Didn't even know about the armed forces housing fund! Problem is, almost no chance we'll qualify. Not done researching yet though. Regardless, I still want amc to squeeze now lol.Look into grants if your realtor has not already. There are many things available to help with closing costs.
Yeah, now would be nice. It's inevitable, and will be here before we know it. The days have been flying by.Didn't even know about the armed forces housing fund! Problem is, almost no chance we'll qualify. Not done researching yet though. Regardless, I still want amc to squeeze now lol.
Robinhood just went public as an IPO. Dropping like a stone... LOL
Apparently apes don't forgive or forget
Except apes aren't selling at 300. That's laughable.

AA said he would be on the offensive, so what the heck is this about making the share count private..

I think it's pretty obvious at this point that retail owns over 100 percent of the shares. Imagine the uproar if that was public. Is it private to protect market integrity? Most likely. The fact that it's hidden confirms my feelings. Either way, I think everyone's reaction will continue to buy more synthetics and hold.Thats my concern for sure, we had this share count last time but I didnt actually see anything, not even an excel file...some audit papers? Anything other than a tweet?
Im wondering what the legalities would be on Mr. Popcorn if he has some crazy count, put it out, and then he gets hit with market manipulation? Probably not, but maybe....this was planned anyways I think the right thing to do is to have this public instead of behind closed doors. Or maybe, SEC warned them not to do it? I dont think we will ever know.
It's saying 265 million voted. Average shares per person is 100, not 1 share. AMC is going to squeeze.265 million votes right? Not 265 million voters? So 265 million votes would be 265 million shares. So if you take a market cap of about $20 billion currently divided by 265 million shares that should be $75 per share which we clearly aren't there. If this math is correct this is the first time I have ever actually seen a "fake price".
Also, are you Kenny G?! The Kenny G?!265 million votes right? Not 265 million voters? So 265 million votes would be 265 million shares. Plus, how many Owners didn't even vote? I know I didn't get a chance to vote... more to add to the math.
We all know by now that there has been more shares purchased than are legally available.Ok based on AA's tweet I was right that 256 million is a share count of votes BUT I was wrong that the number doesn't include people who didn't vote which who knows how many those are above the 513 million legal shares.
Right, but how many more and how does AMC get those shares off the market? The stock will run with more excitement again, then with FOMO buying, but for the squeeze to happen I think they need to get the synthetic shares fixed. We all know by now that there has been more shares purchased than are legally available.
Those shares will be taken care of when the hedgefunds are forced to cover their positions, and buy them back.Right, but how many more and how does AMC get those shares off the market? That makes sense. Those shares will be taken care of when the hedgefunds are forced to cover their positions, and buy them back.
I jumped on the AMC wagon in May so I don't have the same amount of research. It can squeeze even based on my math so I'm not saying it won't, that's the only reason I'm invested. I just want honest info which I think both sides are throwing out lies at this point.
How I read that screenshot is you have votes for, against, and non votes. The non votes would count anyone that didn't vote. I would assume you get 1 vote per share otherwise I have the same say as Blackrock. So if that's the case it's 256 million shares. Again I could be missing something, but even if you assume I'm right the share price should be at least double what it is currently.
