SNAGged and TORN..No More! (The Saga Continues)

Hah, yah with my strict diet I am staying away from dairy now.

Myofusion does not get very slushy but really smooth almost creamy even with just water. When I finished my prep I'll try it with 1% or skim milk...

Skim all the way.

Can you guys explain to me what's wrong with just a little skim milk daily? :thinking:

I'm talking like 12 to 16 ounces total. Is it the small amount of carbs in it? I know there's NO fat in skim milk.
 
nothing wrong with it TG..doesn't work for me, but not to say it wouldn't work for you.
do I see any negatives with that amount? not at all.
the carbs in milk are lactose, a form of sugar.

aside from being lactose intolerant, i just personally see no use for drinking milk.
that doesn't make it detrimental.

Nothing at all, I am just being very extreme and dairy tends to make me hold water under my skin. I am going to be using mostly hydrolysed protein starting sunday .. won't be making pudding or Ice Cream out of this shyte lol. I am using MAP from Primodial Performance and the taste is better than regular plain hydrolysate but still pretty bitter.

I really wish they could make hydrolysates taste better. It's the best and quickest acting protein there is. Just tastes like cardboard......or worse.:puke:

lil different meal here awhile ago.
wife made her famous stuffed peppers..mmmm man these are tasty! :yup:
she stuffed 3 peppers, using total of 8oz 90% ground sirloin, 1 cup brown rice, and 1 can cream of mushroom soup.
so, macros per pepper boil down like this the way I figure:
2.7oz sirloin
1/3 cup brown rice
1/3 can mushroom soup

350cals, 38g carbs/19g protein/13g fat

so I added 1 scoop ProComplex on the side for another 130cals/30g protein.

cals were a tad bit more than I want to consume at this feeding, but not horrible or anything by any means..will slim down my next shake a bit to adjust.

lol..actually, there was some miscommunication (on my part).

the Pink hadn't arrived to the company when they shipped my pack, so it'll be coming seperately.
I had just assumed it would be included with the other products that I received today..
guess you know what they say of the word assume, eh.. :o

I steamrolled thru the session, back/arms, furiously quick pace..dropped down to 45sec rest between some exercises, everything was clicking, mental focus locked and loaded.
seen some significant body comp changes this week, eliminating some water and tightening up. I really think this next week is going to be rapid-fire change, I feel I'm on the cusp of one of them 'changes every day' modes.
weight at 196 this morning.

I wonder if it could be the PLCar, it is supposed to heighten sensitivity of the androgen receptors making you feel something so fast.

Didn't Jacob put out that they might be extending the production of TNA??? Would love some more of the stuff... sadly, mine is all gone. Got the 3 bottles of Prime ready for the next supp cycle though

Agreed, but Jacob and the USP boys seem to be one of the best companies out there. They know what we want, and would say that 99.9% of the time they deliver. LG and AI are not a step behind!!
 
Not sure why they cancelled their runs, but I know when we have to stop supplying a bulk at NutraPlanet due to low demand it's really hard. I'd love to have all the things people want at NP, but it isn't feasible :(

If NP would start selling bulk Avena Sativa powder it would keep me from ordering from another company. I end up getting the rest of my bulk powders there even though NP carries the other ones I'm buying. I don't want to make 2 shipping charges.

blitzed the chest today..man I was really feeling unstoppable thruout training. faster pace, higher reps, supersets..busted out the Perfect Pushup to finish things off.

have made a decision - this will be my final month with weights, before I take a 4-6 week break. gonna be extreeeeeemly hard to stay outta the weight room, but I'm going to lighten the load a bit, not push myself as hard thru the summer.
will focus on tennis first and then baseball, and probably increase the pick-up basketball games during that time.

so, with that in mind, am focusing on finishing out this month strong, focused, and dialed in on the diet. I will get the most out of each and every training session remaining.

the Pink will be run when I have it, for the rest of the month. I have no plans to run it beyond that, unless Jacob wants me to.
 
Wow no weights for 4-6 weeks huh? That would be oh so hard for me to do.Hope everything goes well in these last days.

I couldn't do that personally. I'm an iron addict......no kidding. There's a huge mental aspect involved with me working out with weights. It's not just for health, fitness, or even enjoyment. It's deeper than that. This is part of my psyche. It is who I am and what I do. Has been since I was 19 years old. I've strayed away from the weights a couple of times during that long span and I was miserable every time.
I need to lift weights for a more psychological/therpeutical reason. It controls my stress and bi-polarism/OCD disorder.
Gotta have my maniacal meds.........the iron!!!

I can lighten up for short periods in what we've come to term as "cruise cycles" for a week or 2, but cannot fathom a total refraining from lifting.

Just my OCD opinion.......:439:

I love the iron but I enjoy my planned time off as well. I plan on taking 2 weeks after my contest. I do spend some time during off days looking forward to when I start up again.
 
yeah TG - I am right there with you, believe me.
the act of lifting itself provides some serious psychological relief/releases for me..like I said, this is not going to be easy.
but, I feel it will actually benefit me in the long run (if I can pull it off.. :shhh:)

I usually eat these too, but not right now in my current diet. I make them slightly different when they're for me, but this is what the wife likes:

vanilla MuscleMilk protein (4 scoops to make this batch)
oats (1.5 cups)
honey (3 TBS)
natty PB (4 TBS)
3oz water

mix thoroughly. throw 'em in the fridge when done.

couple of 'em on the side there w/o raisins for the kids.

man I'll be glad when I can eat these things again.. :yumyum:

Snag - you have a low carb recipe that you like? Those look mighty tasty and I would like to have something like that in the evening for a before bed snack if I can get the carbs to a minimum.

lower carbs are a bit more to my liking too, esp the honey (unless I snack on a few of these postWO).
just adjust the ingredient portions. drop down to .5 - 1 TBS honey, .5 - 1 cup oats, and use a different protein like Beverly Muscle Provider or even Myofusion if you want, like 3 scoops..lotsa ways to play with this.
you could even drop the honey altogether, use .5 cup oats, and throw in some coconut oil, changes the profile to higher fat-based feeding.

Sweet idea Snag. I have my own protein blend from true protein that I will use and have EVCO as well; I am sure that 5 grams of CHO before bed or whatever it works out to be won't be a big deal. Going to see about making some of these this week, thanks for your recipe ideas.

I had to point that one out. I see a lot of guys around here using CHO abbreviation for carbohydrates, when that really is short for cholesterol to me. ;)
I know - the whole thing comes from the chemical make-up of carbs - it means Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen.
I still don't like it. :rasp:

So you are just making dough type balls and keeping them in the fridge Chef Snagalicious? They are not actually cooked correct. I have made some fun things like that with peanut butter and protein powder. Made a peanut butter fudge type thing with oats a little while back that was to die for.
