a lil pic of dinner tonight..on a stir-fry kick. :p

10oz shredded chicken breast
2 cups broccoli stir-sry
1 TBS EVOO
4oz salad w. tomatoes

that was really a ton of food, left me full as hell. :food:
will have a small shake (@235cals) as last snack before bed.

I will be watching this very closely. I am thinking of the pink magic right up till stage day as I told you in my PM but it will be good to see what it does for you and how I can best utilize it before I make a final decision.

a pic of the family feast tonight..
not exactly the best way to kick off day #1 of the shredding, but not all bad either.

very rarely do I eat the same foods as my fam, but felt like busting out something we could all eat.

I intended to make breaded chicken breast balls (using French's French Fried Onions as the breading), but I had 2 cracked eggs instead of one, decided to throw the diced chicken pieces into the two eggs and top w/ the French's..turned out all right.
wife wanted some zucchini and yellow squash, so I fried them boys up in 1 TBS EVOO and draped it with 2 cloves garlic, 1/2 cup mozarella cheese, some basil and parmesan cheese.

not a bad meal. :yumyum:

2 scoops protein powder (used Monster Milk)
just enough water to make thick consistency, stir till evenly blended
put in freezer for 30min

yum.

new to this site....awesome thread by the way. Have a question, in all of your meals you have posted and the other comments of diet, I do not see any metion of "quinoa"; do you not include this in your diet for a paticular reason? thx

carrying a lil excess water on me from couple things over the w/e (and probably those freaking french fried onions last night :o), but that'll disappear shortly..on a mission to shred things up now, weight @198 upon rising..let's see what I can accomplish by the end of March.

this was a semi-clean bulk (at times anyway), just emphasis on recomping size at same bodyweight.
long gone are the days I balloon up in a bulking phase. hate that feeling.
then gotta work like a dog to trim back down..uh uh, not for me friend. :nono:

It's a clean bulk but I'm still softer than I like to be.
 
showing some of what I think is some of the finest protein blend in existence..picked up the Beverly Super Pak multivite too, and threw a couple PowerPB in there I picked up from my GNC today.
the supp shelf is all set - let's get some shredding going on! :aargh:

suffice it to say, hi-quality blend with hi-quality ingredients. this has been my favorite protein for yrs now..just can't buy it all the time. but when it comes crunch time, I always find myself procuring me some Beverly for protein/MRP needs.
aside from USP (different kinds of companies/products) these guys have 'the other half' of my natty supplement needs.

(altho, I hear rumors USP is coming out with a tremendous protein powder in the near future!) :shhh:

Ive heard rumors...and if they are true, just about my whole supplementation will be USP. Food, training, sleep, and USP labs...what a thought
 
well I haven't eaten regular pudding since the '90s, so all I can tell you is it's tasty to me! ;)

Used 2 scoops of myofusion last night, it was awesome and some of it froze and it tasted like Ice Cream!! I am going to let it all freeze tonight hehe!!

careful not to get too much water in there - you leave it in o/n with too much, it'll be an ice cube come morning! :biglaugh:

I think an hour or so should just about do it. I shook it up and let it sit shaking occaisionaly before I put it in the freezer. Really let the protein disolve and thicken. Low carb protein ice cream, wow the possibilities.. would be pretty fugg'n expensive to make though.

Damn skippy...hippie!! I hate bulking. And at 247lbs. it just isn't necessary. Everything is recomp or cutting from here on out.

Bulking was never a problem for me. I feel so sorry for true hardgainers. I gained 30 fairly lean pounds the first 3 months I started weight-training at the age of 19. My Dad said, "It looks like you found what works (weight-lifting) for you. Keep it up."

Cutting is a different scenario altogether. I must be extremely disciplined to get lean and shredded. But it's a work in progress.

That line of thinking is so on the money for guys like you and me. I don't know how many times I would go into the off season thinking I had to bulk only to get too fuggin fat!! Recomp has saved me and given me a second chance, along with some damn fine herbal products!!
 
I agree, I got a little mass crazy on my last one. Now I am looking to cut up. Once there i am staying lean and will accept 2-4 lbs muscle gain over a period of months without fat gain. I was a lot happier with my physique until I tried to clean bulk and didn't keep as clean. I just gain weight too easily... My body wants to carry that extra fat. UGGHHH!!! I wanna be, I wanna be like Snags! Yeah don't wanna be like Mike he is too skinny. LOL

Don't discount the ice cream idea, I had this last night and it was quite awsome. I just let it sit in the freezer for 2 hours. I used water so it was not quite as creamy as real ice cream but with skim milk I bet it would be even better.

Plain ol' Vanilla Protein, skim milk, and just a tiny dash of extra vanilla flavoring for good measure.
Let it sit in the freezer until it was super-slushy not frozen hard like a brick.

Hah, yah with my strict diet I am staying away from dairy now.

Myofusion does not get very slushy but really smooth almost creamy even with just water. When I finished my prep I'll try it with 1% or skim milk...
