Snag gets FINAFLEXed on Road to Nationals

there you go, that's the ticket

WOW man, that dude looks great!
so much more mass there than I have, but I am appreciative of the comparison brother

Maybe more mass on Pavol, but the esthetical look is for me the same.

Both awesome

YOu are looking great man, curious have you ever played with angles of your forearm in your Side Chest & Biceps shot? Not like how far up or down you hold it, but turning it in or out a bit. Reason I ask is I was thinking about how you get the peaks to show more by rotating the arms back a bit more on the rear double biceps. The other day I applied that to my side biceps shot keeping the elbow in tight and rotating the arm so my forearm was out and an angled away from my body and all of the sudden my biceps looked twice as big in the shot. I am curious if you are not doing that if it would indeed make yours look even more massive which is ALWAYS a plus.

forever intuitive chris, dig it ;) yeah I was not set or into the pose yet fully when my boy snapped that pic - so i'm a bit chicken-winged there (NOT the way you want to do this)..typically that is my best pose, and I can get everything popping well exactly by technique you speak there..my hand placement was off as well, whether I was ready or not that still would have been issue
the rear double-bi, a lot of guys make the mistake of bringing their arms forward instead of leaning back, thinking they will lose the back-width appearance this way..if you have a diced back and hit it correctly like you say, not only will peak show more, but you'll shine with the christmas tree look too, as well as showing definition in delt heads..this is not a mass pose, and I do not have thick mass anyway, so I make the best of my good points
posing practice has begun btw! gonna perfect it this time around, no part of my game will be off for this

Looking fierce man. Crazy separartions. Going HAM in dis prep, & we haven't even got the trenbolone & epistane running! I mean, how vacular & hard can one get before they explode?

You can take that last sentence anyway you want, I suppose.

It's more the double side chest pose that makes the chest separate more, here's Marsh who has a great chest as well see how it separates. I can see yours doing the same and it may be a great pose for you.

Where do you prefer your hand placement? I can see how this could be your best pose though works very well with your lines. I agree when you lean back the christmas tree pops and your lower lats, and also erectors really pop quit a bit. People often forget the judges are looking at them from below and can lose a lot of viewable muscle by not catering to that fact.

mmm not a fan of that one, personally..i like to tilt shoulders as I twist a bit, makes you look bigger/wider to judges..pulling back on shoulders vs coming forward like he does, gives better view of package and not shrunken appearance..you also lose some bicep in that pose (tho yes I know it is not a bicep pose)
looks great on him, he sure was dry, looked good

hands close in to body, palms facing up
I just needed to flex my arm harder and bring in closer on that pic, finish the pose..told you I was not ready! :D
my son does not like my cam, at all lol

Yeah my wife and my daughter tend to jump the gun before I lock in the poses. My son on the other hand he knows to wait a moment and see that my motion has some to a rest, or waits for a nod or me to say "now"

we try the "now" thing..he is still trigger-happy fella
stupid delay between depression and actual flash complicates things further..
impatience he gets from his old man, I guess

What the hell is a trailer hitch when talking about a physique. That Conroe talk even confuses me and it is only an hour away. :)

I knew what you meant :)
well I didn't :p
surprised that ppl seem surprised that I have one! iirc, this year is my 25th anniversary of wearing one, got when I was 18..one of the things I hate about getting on stage: you have to remove it; after the spray tan for show and whatnot, putting that thing back in is not only a tender process (it ain't like your ear, hole closes very quickly if nothing is in it) but because of the spray tan I actually get a small infection from that stuff seeping in the crevices :sigh:

anyway, carb-up from last night did me sooooo righteous..best I have looked yet upon rising here today, very hard, legs notably different than last night, and veins off chains in my stomach and everywhere else for that matter
meal last night: ~175g carbs, ~850cals

changes going forward:
*have now dropped in the final approach of this gig, trenavar+epistane..I think things will be ginormously affected by this..phased out the 550XD and EpiV, switched over to hi-dose 1-Alpha (6 caps) and 1-Andro (4 caps) combo, using as my test base..will continue with the PCT Black before bed, the arimistane has really done me righteously, drying me out well

*diet will adjust down to ~45g fat daily, with slight increase in carbs to make up most of difference and meet cal threshold, as overall daily cal allotment will fall to 2450 now..meals will drop to 6x daily rather than 7x, and most all shakes (don't do many of these to begin with) will be eliminated and totally eliminated next week..i think i will continue for one more week on the 2x weekly carb-up meal protocol, and assess this again next saturday

*training will remain unchanged for 1 more week; then, will switch back to 3-day split and focus and full contractions, posing/flexing between sets, not going to failure, using push/pull supersets where I can, and continuing with cardio as has been

gave myself a lil taste of what is to come more & more as far as meat choices go, replacing my beef for turkey breast..one word comes to mind: dry, but at least salt is still high and can hit the hell out of it for awhile yet, makes it so much more palatable
breakfast this morning:
4oz 99% ground turkey breast
1 whole egg+2 egg whites
1 slice Ezekiel CR bread
not pictured, 1/3 scoop vanilla hydrolyzed isolate+1c blueberries
~425cals, 35g carbs, 7.5g fat

Lol his Evil Twin, will upload a pic of the mustache later to confirm.

And eh felt I could use some anonymity for a bit.

Vegeta got the best one liners.

Goku>>>>>>>>Vegeta.

Vegeta has the best character development. That's honestly why I appreciate his character the most, plus his motives for getting stronger are for the most part internal and selfish. I like that push yourself mentality

Piccolo has almost the exact same character development......

Yes we are. Its all the same show.

And you can't make comments about piccolos character development without counting the sister series he was introduced in.

I was talking about DBZ and the character who developed the most in that series. You brought up both piccolo and Dragonball. If we stick to the parameters the conversation is based on I think we can come to an agreement.

speaking of parameters - where in your conversation is snags, nationals, or food and working out?? :hitwithrock:

I don't have a fcking clue what the hell you guys are talking about

Everyone is changing their names.
yes since JB is not changing his, now waiting for
Hyde to become Jekyll
MrKleen to become JoeDirt
and DreamWeaver to become NightmareOnElmStreet

Well, Mr. Hyde IS the transformed version of Dr. Jekyll....felt it was appropriate when I dropped the natty card and stepped over the threshold, at the expense of whatever may come of it.

“I learned to recognise the thorough and primitive duality of man; I saw that, of the two natures that contended in the field of my consciousness, even if I could rightly be said to be either, it was only because I was radically both.”
― Robert Louis Stevenson, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

I'm your every day, nice average joe. And when I lift weights, it's often fun & lighthearted. But there is a serious drive & underlying purpose for it all, and in the heat of a long set or in the moment you take the bar for a max effort lift, everything else goes away & DOING is all that is relevant. I know you all know what I'm talking about here. When you're in it, for those few moments, that's it. And I feel that part of me is different than all the rest of me in a lot of ways.

As for piercings, haven't worn my earrings for 3 yrs...just put some back in and guaged them back to 8g in about 5 days. Now THAT has been uncomfy :) Little blood & pain builds character....right?

[allow me to be analytical, as these guys were earlier in their discussion]
that would seem to be apropos, but in reality the transformation of Jekyll to Hyde was continually reversible and dual-sided..
your comparison to natty/hormonally aided would not seem to quite fit ;)

ahh kidding man, I understand what you say..i tend to be beast in the training session myself - is why I train alone in my garage, as I tend to be a prick when I am interrupted during a session..(ain't nobody got time for that)

yeah I quite wearing mine many yrs ago, like early to mid 90s
can't even imagine myself with my diamond studs in anymore, both ears I had pierced of course..had my nipple pierced back in the day too (shhh quiet)
