as for striations, they will be there when i'm done (i'm waterlogged right now blah), but - i'm bringing a different look than what i usually do, due to my approach..off the top, remember this was only a 3-week cutting phase, and to eliminate some more fat i would have to be in longer
second, i still could've come in more ripped with a bit different dietary approach, but i wanted to hold majority if not all of muscle (or even grow!) during this period..i didn't get below maintenance until rather recently, and even @2350 that's not terribly far below maintenance
and i did no cardio (sprints couple times this week, maybe tomorrow)
keeping fats low & carbs up, will give me a different look
and as i said earlier, tennis will shred me up well anyway (i'm playing saturday first time of yr!) :woohoo:

I am moderately disturbed by the fact that PF sees Snags unclothed body as some sort of buffet or finger food... Snags you will be happy to know that your nekked body does not make me want to eat. YOu might want to tell PF that his chances are better if he shows up with a nice mustard...

black pepper/cayenne pepper/onion powder/salt-free garlic & herb are my go-to friends right now
still - freakin turkey breast needs salt to be palatable

Is competing in your near or not so near future or are you experimenting with protocols/different approaches for the hell of it? I've seen the knowledge you've bestowed upon others, as far as nutrition and timing goes, just made me wonder if you were going to get on stage again.

yep, just trying to nail my final approach, and set up a plan for a show protocol
plan is still to compete this year, if i can swing it..now or never
i know variables change based upon a lot of factors, but if i can isolate a few things in my mind i'll feel better



weight ~195.7 upon rising on this final day, before i roll the bones
calves are tighter than hell, not in a good way - may preclude me from any type of running if they don't loosen up, would suck cuz i'm really looking forward to tennis tomorrow
 
Hope those calves loosen up for you. Man I need to find a tennis buddy... that or racket ball it is so much fun. I just found out one of the gyms I can go to has a RB Court so I can play again. I just need to find someone to play against. That and a ton of practice it has been years since I played.

never cared for rb myself, just doesn't hold the attraction of tennis, for me..plus i like playing outdoors, playing on indoor courts just isn't the same

We have some courts that were just built at my neighbohood community center. I used to love tennis. I may try and talk my son or wife into getting in a game or so a week. Like you said there is something nice about being outside, but I still love RB. The dynamics of it and using all of the walls and everything just just makes it a blast for me.

i played several weeks ago 'indoors'....finally made it outdoors last week. tried playing out doors today but the wind was nutz, amazing how easy the pro's make playing in gusting winds look!!!!

ps don't get wrong-footed and snap an ankle!!!

appreciate all the feedback you guys..been a fun ride, learned a few things along the way
didn't finish quite as well as i had anticipated - but that in itself was a learning process
also the high quality cam fizzled out, but my son was here to use his ipod, so that helped
did not get tennis in today, too damn windy (30mph gusts up here bigt), was prolly smart thing to avoid anyway since calves were still fairly tight, could've been an injury waiting to happen

as i sit here tonight i'm actually looking a bit better than earlier (go figure)..a nice chinese buffet did me pretty righteous :D

will have a full and final review coming soon on all products used thruout this run
i've appreciated the support and feedback during the course of this log, and the camaraderie and keeping things light and laughable at times..hopefully, you've been entertained and maybe picked up a few things that can help you as well
