soo..since i obviously preach importance of diet (not only preach it, but practice it daily), thought maybe it was time to show my rough construct of daily eating..not often do i show a "protocol" anymore - simply because i tweak things quite often (intentionally), just as i do my training etc
i don't want to get caught up in a "well you said you do this, and now you're doing that" type of wasteful conversation

but for now, on my 4000cal diet, generally speaking..something like this:

meal #1: breakfast, comes in ~650-750cals
pre/postWO nutrition (shake): 700-900cals
meal #2: postWO meal, ~450cals
meal #3: 475-550cals
meal #4: 350-425cals
meal #5: 550-700cals
meal #6: most always a shake, ~350-550cals

so you can see, there is built in play, and easy maneuverability
on nonworkout days, of course the pre/post shake goes away..i may (or may not) add cals in at other feedings to partially make up for the missing cals, generally it is a simple matter to just eliminate the cals altogether, as they are not needed in a non-energy expending day..also, since some of these cals surrounding workout are simple (ie dextrose) or simple-compound (ie brown rice syrup), i don't need to consume them if not training

this has been my basic working platform for much of this log..today, i begin the dive into lower cals for a couple days (part of my plan as well), so again simple elimination of the nonpreferred cal sources (ie shakes surrounding training) can easily be eliminated -- whether i am training or not

2/17 MAX PUMP update: off-day from training
nothing really new to add, effects still going strong..only thing to add is today, taking upon empty stomach @rising, no stomach effects - however, did get a splitting headache not long afterwards, and it remains in force currently (getting ready to take some advil right now)
this is a first, and obviously not even sure if related to supp at all, simply offering an observation

later in day: also i got some itchyness going on, and skin flushing around neck/shoulder region..was not first i have noticed this, but by far the most profuse (which is why i hadn't said anything previously, as this phenomenon was pretty minute and limited in occurrence, and i wanted to be sure before i attributed to MP)

2/18 MAX PUMP update:
so no killer headache today, and so far no itching or flushing..this is pleasant, perhaps was just blip?
as for workout today tho: oh let's just make it simple and say: straight 5's across the board
nuff said ;)

also: thought i would drop a lil hint here.. :saroll:

i think it's time to move into extended stay at lower caloric intake/moderated macros, for now
of course this could change (always, change), but really think now is time to make my move
i can correct later if need be..
would like to thank EBF inc for sending me some Recompadrol, will use this as a weapon in my arsenal..been awhile since i used gda's, but always had great success with them in past efforts
we're gonna see how sliced snags can get natty, before i call on some Finaflex hormonal help down the road....

really wishing i had more MAX PUMP to aid me tho
last dose coming up tomorrow

Yeah I will be sad when MAX PUMP is running out also. Right now I have a while to go lucky me I was salivating looking at you all with it now I got mine late you all will be salivating that I have mine.

Just throwing this out there, you can catch it and put it in your pocket, or you can kindly disregard it, but I'm willing to log anything you are willing to send my way. PXB is the jam so far.

Also, my dumb ass just found this log because I don't know my way around with a computer. The phone app kinda limits some things.

You're a big dude. That is all.

LOL is all good troopster..welcome aboard :wavey:
glad you are njoying the PX Black!

MAX PUMP final review

1) Vascularity/Pump (1-5) was more impressed by pump effects, than by vascularity..seeing Al get roadmapped out in our promo thread really made me dream of having the same happen..alas, i'm not really a vascular dude, and always have to be pretty lean before ropes start appearing
that said - vascularity was increased certainly - just not as pronounced or noticeable as the pump aspect
solid 4.5 rating

2) Muscle Endurance/Stamina (1-5) this category simply was ungawdly..endurance went up markedly, and i noticed some sessions i just could not get tired..strength was typically almost as good by end of training, as it was when i started (as silly as that may sound)
total 5 rating

3) Muscle Strength (1-5) during this period i am not really training for strength per se, but rather more of a bodybuilding approach (higher reps/lighter yet still substantial weight etc)..that is not to say i didn't have mometns where i busted out some weights -- couple squat days i pushed the envelope, and was blown away by where my strength levels were at..also, i tie in overall strength (ie - strength at completion of training vs. strength at beginning) in this category, so it kind of mirrors the category above in that aspect, for me
5 rating

4) Overall Physical Performance (1-5) honestly - had mostly ups, no complaints..only one bad day that i can think of off top of my head
strong 4.5 rating

5) Overall Opinion of Product (1-5)... How much do you like this product???
in a nutshell - i am in love
would be purrfekt, were it not for a few isolated instances of upset stomach (they were brief, passed quickly) and one isolated day where i itched like crazy and had blotches of red all over (face was so red, looked like i was gonna have a heart attack LOL)
since we've run betas, some testers have added their own findings of betaine nitrate, and all the thorough and extensive testing it has undergone in different capacities..that in mind, let me say that i notice some of these effects, being:
*nitrogen retention, seeming to make my high-protein diet all the better
*improved anaerobic/aerobic performance capabilities/bloodflow improvement, which translated into unending stamina + increased power output
and yes (cover your eyes, o sensitive ppl) - i did notice improved bloodflow to certain, ahh, bodyparts that are not exactly targeted in the weight room :D
so again: all things considered, phenomenal product indeed..were it not for the minor and brief issues, this would score perfectly
FINAL OVERALL RATING: 4.5

Finaflex, you guys have done it again :hammer:

Looking at your new pic there, I got to thinking "he looks like he's on" and now I read your review and there it is.... increase in Protein synthesis this is one of the key reasons we gain mass using anabolic s... think what this means for PCT and bridging between cycles. Keeps the fuggin ball rolling.

i look like i'm "on" eh DW? :D
gee, i haven't heard that one before  (and long before i ever thought about using anabolics)

is a good point to discuss tho: i will always tell you, i am a product of my consistency..sure, i may have decent genetics (i'n no freak tho), and perhaps on the side of meso as you say, but the unqualified biggest key for me is what i do day-in/day-out..
my hi-frequency training plays a big part as well..this shows, if i take couple days off from training; or, couple days eating like shyte
the genetic part helps, when i can look like shyte tho, and within a short period of instituting my daily regimen (controlled on all points), look fairly decent again..big thing is: after continued consistency to a certain extent (looking better), when something like a MAX PUMP can be dropped into play on top of everything else, yes it can make a dramatic difference in my appearance

things are in a good spot, at the current time
next run of anabolics gonna be the best yet ;)

Very important points made there. Another person who has proven that consistency makes a huge difference is RickRock13, that guy stays lean and looks great all of the time now. Counts everything weighs everything and all that jazz. Someone else who have been very consistent this year and it is showing in his physique is our very own DW. Doug has really kept himself on target all year and he looks better now than he did for his last show.

PS I am proof that inconsistency and relaxed dieting will make you backslide away from all grandeur... I am not fat by any means but I am softer looking and not as defined after just a couple months of falling off the dietary wagon.

Unfortunately this has been me as of late as well. The consistency also favors really being able to see the effects that supplements add into the mix as well.

ahh yes, good additions there chris
i'm not too familiar with RR, other than couple threads and of course his avi - dude looks great for sure
when you can maintain that look - that to me is what it is all about
and yes, DW seems to be putting it all together, applying those consistent approaches thruout his off-season for the first time this year..
it shows! :cool2:

as for you - well yes you had some extenuating circumstances if i am not mistaken? but, there is still massive muscle yet to be uncovered on your frame man, more than what one would guess..you are very solidly built
not gonna take long to start showing, and gonna come fast when you make your move ;)

Thanks guys I am honored ..by doing this though I have made it so much easier on myself, no big swings necessary, no hard dieting just small adjustments over time.

random news of day:
so baseball kicks off today, well spring training anyway..
first spring game of the year has my two favorite teams facing each other, Tigers vs Braves
could this be a possible world series match-up? detroit much more likely than atlanta i guess (or so says vegas oddsmakers), and braves will have a tough enough time winning their own division (washington is stacked!)
wild card format makes everything a crapshoot these days...

but: you heard it here first, the two teams playing first game of yr will be the last two standing end of season
(tigers over atlanta in 7 in WS)

:D

Thanks and no doubt! Yeah I have / had extenuating circumstances. Low testosterone and also an injury that between the two my motivation just cratered and I stopped eating right. I have started eating much better and am improving slowly but stil competing with the low testosterone. It is gonna be crazy starting Monday when I add the 1-Alpha and 550XD, finally having some type of anabolic hormones in my system I predict my muscle explode back to there previous size while that fat just melts off. Ideally I will see myself 208-210 in the 8-10% range at the end of the 2 months. Maybe a little lighter. As you said I have a ton of muscle that once uncovered will make me look huge.

okay..so i awoke pretty damn pleased with the image looking back at me in mirror this morning..
weight ~201.3 as i adjust to the "restricted" cal intake and macro tweaks, carb rotation still in play

PX Black is still humming along righteously - and still only taking 2 daily of these

guess i should list the supplement arsenal i'm rolling with att:
PX Black (2 daily)
BCAA+SAA (preWO/postWO/as needed)
Ignite2 (preWO)
Cell Shock (postWO)
Crea-Trona (on nonWO days, or when i abstain from Cell Shock for macro/micro reasons)
Recompadrol (4-5x daily, 1 cap pre-meal w/ 20g+ carbs)
ALC+CLA (2 caps, 3x daily w/ meals)
G8 for sleep (1 scoop before bed, 5on/2off rotation)

of course the basic essentials like fish oil/multivitamin/extra D3

and of course as well i just finished up Max Pump, and also recently came off PureTest

my cupboard looks like a Finaflex warehouse lol :cool2:

random news of the weekend:

despite flu shot effectiveness for those aged 65+ this season estimated @ a dismal 9%, the CDC is still advising all those over 6 months of age to get one..

if you are staying in a hotel and notice decreased water pressure, perhaps the cause is a dead body in the facility water tank..news out of Los Angeles reported guests at the Cecil Hotel complained of poor water pressure, and upon investigation maintenance workers found the body of a 21y/o canadian tourist wedged in the water tank atop the building..

drew peterson - you acted outraged and surprised at your sentencing hearing this week, adamant that you did not kill "that woman"
apparently you didn't take the lessons of bill clinton to heart, of the body language and verbage used to deny, that conversely indicate you did indeed do something horrible to that woman.. :nono:

enjoy your w/e guyz :)

tough to build a forum from the ground up!

took 8 days off from lifting, needed a small respite while i attended to other things
so i get back into it 2 days ago, start off with legs..aaaaand the snow promptly pounds us with ~10.5" of heavy wet stuff that i have to shovel the following day (yesterday), has my legs & back just screaming when i'm done..days like that make me want to go buy a snow blower :sigh:

also: picked up some nifty little bread from pepperidge farms, a swirled rye & pump
not necessarily a rye fan, but i do enjoy the flav occasionally, and this stuff is actually pretty decent

I have had that one before it is good. I like Pepperidge Farms out of the store bought normal brands. The site is coming along as you said we just need a few more people in there to discuss things and get a few more logs going on.
