Slim Xtreme DISCONTINUED!

Anyone still taking SX?
I know AX have pulled the stuff, and even recommended people stop taking it. However what bugs me, is they have never said it was *dangerous* to take?
I'm sure people are still popping this, so it would REALLY be nice to have them clear up the matter NOW. They should know the long-term tests now.

There's plenty of sold bottles out there..

I have a feeling they have lawyers telling them to recall and just clam up. If they say it is dangerous out loud, they set themselves up for a lawsuit. That or they don't even know what the hell is in it. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and say their lawyers advised them against saying anything.

I wouldn't be surprised if you started posts disappearing cause they go on a deleting spree. Their forums mysteriously vanished.

Yeah but it's just so muddy..
This will take *some time* to completely go away, IF AX doesn't open their mouths. Internetz doesn't forget. I know many are still taking this, hell if you get them on ebay they're gone in 10-15 minutes usually. Some people care less about their health, and others would take it in good faith that it's probably "not so bad"..
I'm not aware of the legal consequences of someone taking a recalled (but not dangerous) OTC product (and no I'm not someone, but I haven't thrown it out yet...) and then getting ill effects after six months usage.
 
Almost everyone agrees that Slim Xtreme was one of the best appetite suppressant out there; however the sides that some people(including myself) were HORRIBLE! When I mentioned the problem I had with SX on another forum I was accused of being a liar and a scammer. Listen people-SLIM XTREME IS DANGEROUS-DO NOT TAKE IT! Who cares if you've lost 40 lbs in two months. Stop risking your health for vanity's sake! If you're wonder what my side was with this product: LIMB PARALYSIS(right arm/shoulder).

I've gone through 3 bottles, no sides. I'm NOT defending any one or any thing, just stating a fact.
 
I was gone for 3 weeks, but I see this thread is still going. Stupid question: Did AX ever make an official statement and/or comment regarding their situation?
 
I used two-thirds of one bottle(30 capsules). I took one capsule every other day. I also attended a fitness bootcamp class three days a week. The class was mostly cardio but included some weight training. I lost 10 lbs in about 6-7 weeks. I drank plenty of water. decent diet. Everything was going great until November 6: I was getting ready for class and noticed I couldn't fully extend my right arm nor could I lift my arm over my head. Now I know a lot of you will say there are number of things besides SX that could have caused this problem but I know that SX has something to do with this. I ceased taking SX immediately and have seen some improvement with my arm but it.s still not 100 %. I ordered SX the end of August before it was discontinued and before the recall. I now realize I should have stopped taken this the minute it was recalled but I assumed since I was getting the results I wanted without any ill effects it would be okay. Big mistake! It just amazes me how many people will continue to knowingly take something that is known to be toxic just to look good!

Did you get yourself check out to be sure it wasn't a minor stroke?
 
Sounds like muscle/tendon tear or even possible stroke issues due to heat stroke/exhaustion. Definitely doesn't sound like a result of SX.

You're attributing limb paralysis to SX?
 
Yes, Iam attributing the limb paralysis to SX. It has gotten a little better since I've ceased using the product, but it's still not back to normal. The surprising thing is that there's been very little to almost no pain. It's as if someone literally cut a string that was connected to my arm that won't allow me to fully extend or raise my right arm. Hopefully, it will continue to improve. To the person that emailed me, I didn't have enough posts to respond privately to your message.
 
camgirl, I posted a thread a couple of days ago. My whole body went numb a few times while i was taking SX. Scary feeling my doctor said it was a TIA.
 
Wow-that sounds scary! I haven't been to a doctor yet but a friend has recommended a low-income clinic that I should go to. I work at a county run recreation center but I only work part-time which means no insurance no paid time off. That's the main reason I haven't been to a doctor. However I realize in order to put my fears to rest and get a real diagnosis-I need to see a doctor. I will keep all of you posted.
 
Why would you spend so much on supplements and risk your health when your health is the difference between employment and unemployment, in your situation?
 
How can some one who's arm went NUMB, not go to the ER imediately? With a mild stroke, things will improve slowly. Go to the Doctor!!!!
 
Camgirl I'm with everybody else if possible go to the doctor. I know times (finances) are tough if you are still having numbness or tingling. I'm not flaming you or anything. In my case things are getting better I still lose my balance sometimes and my speech (tongue twisted) has improved a lot. I could not imagine having a major stroke, from just having a TIA things were pretty scary. Take care.
 
After reading posts in this thread I looked around on the net. It's amazing the rumors that go around. I've read this has meth, that it has adderal (sp) and that one of the sides from SX is that it even shrink your penis lol... So much is being spread its hard to find what really was going on as to why it was pulled for sure
 
did anyone else get a warning of recall notice from bb.com? it warned of possible liver damage from ph's that were considered steroids and told not to take them. but there was no notice of anything concerning slimx????????

I just stumbled on to this stuff.

This stuff is the real deal It looks like they found some legal pharmatical drug. an some good chemists to come up with some thing that works an is legal with out going to the Dr. an try to have prescribed an probably be denied.

I do have a question?

is one of the ingredients only one carbon chain off of one of the apparent ingredients in meth if so what dose that mean why don't more people do something like this to stay legal.
 
Im not backing this product, its wrong what they did but some of the stories here are a little far fetched and if this stuff really happened, you wouldnt be on hear talking about it. you would be suing and your lawyers would be telling you too say nothing. How do I know, my bro is a lawyer!

what's incredible is that i honestly believe the original stimx was much more potent that this current version of slimx. if slimx is tainted with something just short of or maybe is illegal, i wonder what the hell was in the original version? i felt just as much or more on 1 stimx as i did on 2 slimx. that stuff really was strong!!!

For hardcore punch, I'll agree with ya on that one whole-heartedly. I still have an original sample pack of that stuff!! In fact, saw it last night up on my drafting table next to a spool of leather lacing. (Don't ask, I'm crafty.) I still remember the effects of that stuff. Being on the shortlist to try a few things out when they're thought up, it's one of my major points of comparison for stims. Me likey da stimz. :head:

i see that t-ad agrees also. i wonder what all these people who think that slimx is so strong would have thought of stimx? i have tried almost every stim that has come out in the last 7-8 years- my favorite one being the old twinlab ripped fuel with ephedra-hot damn that was good stuff. the best one i have tried lately is vyper by professional supplements, i feel it is a stronger stim than slimx just doesn't last nearly as long-vyper is good for 4-6hours-slimx was good for 6-8.

They will respond to a post that talks about another product that compares to SX, but will not address the serious issue at hand with SX being spiked. Classy.

Why not just go with crystal meth? It's known to be excellent for cutting, and at least you can find out the ingredients.
