I would do one in the winter then. 12 weeks of good training is fairly optimal to ramp up, so start looking when you get toward the end of the busy season.

Signing up for a comp always lights an extra fire under your ass; every time in almost every session where I want to quit or shortcut something I remember that I’m training actively for a meet, and it pushes you to get those last reps and do that last set.

Agreed! When I was training for that comp I was bulletproof in training and recovery. This winter I’ll definitely see what I can come up with. Even if it requires a little road-trip.
 
Frickin’ 400 lbs paused and a Kadillac bar, that’s insane! You sure as hell should be competing — and winning!

If you can find something within about 4-5 hours, you’re doing fine. You should plan on a hotel the night before the meet almost always, unless it’s like 90 min or less, since you’ll have to weigh in 24 hours before the start.
 
Hey man plan it out, when things allow. I regret not at least doing a bench competition, when my bench was at it’s best when I was in my 30s.

Officially in cruise mode. Pinning sub q daily. Alternating days: 40 mg primo e, 50 mg sust.
Originally I was going to make a blend of the 2 in a sterile vial buuuut, just because there is an equal mix of each doesn’t mean you are drawing an equal mix every time. I find this method to be more precise.

Thanks! I was a bit tender going in to todays session. My body isn’t used to volume since doing conjugate methods the last few months. But it felt good. Time to build some clean mass all around. I’d like to be sitting around 240 lbs when bloodwork clears and I proceed to the next blast (not anytime soon lol).

I did give karbolyn it’s maiden voyage this morning. Just what the doctor ordered. Why have I not used this until now?!?! Thanks for the tip @Hyde
 
Once you train on a good carb powder, you won’t want to ever go back.
Ha, I used to use the Now waxy maize for my carbs pre, intra, and post. Man that stuff was bland, but Karbolyn is one of the really good ones that actually tastes good.👍

This is an instant staple. I don’t feel pregnant like when I pound a bowl of oatmeal or the like an hour before training and wanna take a nap between sets. Speaking of pregnant, I’m a bit concerned I may have knocked up the wife, on trest, test, tren. Wtf. I hope not. That’s the last thing I need right now lol.

Yeah we have a 7 yr old now. I’ll see what happens (or doesn’t lol) in the next few days. That kid would probably come out jacked, tan and puffing on a stogie if I pulled this off on trest 🤣

I always liked Karbolyn; very solid product. I just do even better on cyclic dextrin and there’s not much cost difference. But the less you use, more important that delay/flatter curve becomes because you don’t want to run out of glucose once you have spiked it until the work is done. Since my wife only uses 100 cals worth (25g), Karbolyn is superior.

If you want to raise the total carb load beyond say 50g , I would add another source - HBCD for top shelf performance, or fruit juice/fructose for budget caloric increase that does still seem to help. I add a cup of 100% juice blend (Oceanspray “Cranberry”) lately on lower days.

If someone has a pretty iron gut, either Gatorade powder solo or bulk dextrose at 25-50g mixed with some country time lemonade or similar fructose-based flavored powder product from Costco/Sam’s (20, maybe 30g worth) is a budget way to get a delicious decided boost.

As for kids, more often than not when guys have one while on, they’re girls

Yeah both my friends that had kids while on tren had girls. But! Doesn’t mean they can’t come out jacked, tan, and puffin on a cigar 🤣

Both those tren girls are above the top percentile for height and weight…. Gonna be beast mode in school sports.

I have never encountered anyone who has had a kid on trest. Either in real life or the inter webs. This is fukt if it’s real lol. But either way, if it is meant to be then it’s MENT to be!

Thanks for joining! Well this was my first time ever trying it. I downed it in 24 oz of water 10 mins before training with 2 kiwis to ice the cake. I always use Vasoblitz intra workout or a few minutes before. Perhaps someone else can chime in on Nutrabio though.

I know HBCD which is in Nutrabio's product is a pretty solid carb source.

I remember back in the day taking Sizeon Max which was a carb product among other things intra and had great results that way.

I think if you are going to drink it all prior, go with Karbolyn. If you will drink constantly through training, use Super Carb - Nutrabio is who I use for my HBCD.

And aside from drinking fructose, let it be understood that you can certainly just eat a serving of fruit prior instead! Dates, an apple, banana, cup of berries, orange, whatever. But if you don’t, a bit of fructose in powder or juice will spare what is stored in the liver initially. Fruit obviously is much more nutritious if total daily calories are being controlled.

I've been getting 6lb powder containers of glacier freeze Gatorade on Amazon for $12-$15 and it's been working great for me, 50g post weight lifting or 100g post plyometrics is only about a quarter a work out.

Exactly. When I was a mechanic, we would buy the cooler-size bags of Gatorade for a song for summer months. Salt a cup of that and good to go - it all comes back to the lifter’s digestion and the time they do or don’t have.
 
Going through your log you have a Kabuki Transformer bar, right? How do you like it? I'm considering picking up a blemished version. I have the Kabuki trap bar HD and like that bar a lot.

Yezzir! I’m a kabuki wh0re. Have OG transformer, Duffalo, and Kaddilac. I bought my kaddilac blemished and there is one tiny cosmetic scratch, can’t believe they marked it as blemish! I am absolutely in love with the transformer, you should 100% hop on the blemish sale. Mine is the original with fixed handles; but the new model you can remove handles apparently, I just choke up on mine anyways. You can do some really cool Good Morning variations with this bar as well if you set it up to resemble bulls horns. Your back will be smoked. Probably the most versatile bar in my quiver.
That HD trap bar is sweet! I’d love to have one someday. Just bought a GHD from repfitness and my next big purchase will be a rogue monster rack in the next few months.
 
Complaints on the original Transformer was the hassle with changing the squat settings. The newest version has a pop pin design which makes it much easier from the looks of it. One complaint I've seen is the pop pins rub up against your rack and or j-hooks causing them to get marked up. Other than that the bar looks sweet and love the different settings.

I'm really thinking of picking up a blemished version when it's available.

It’s a gem! I really don’t mind changing the squat settings, the design is bombproof.

I would have to pay for it beforehand which guarantees my spot at getting one when it's available.

The original one would annoy me though with always having to unscrew the portion that locks in the setting. I guess it's similar to the shoulder rok screw on which I have.

Oh dang they must have changed it. For my kaddilac I didn’t have to. But these times are a changin.
 
Gotcha. I just meant when I put my name on the blemish waitlist for the kaddilac I didn’t have to put money down. That was about a year ago I think though

Ah I got you. Yeah I emailed my contact with Kabuki and he sent me a quote for the blemished Transformer which came out to like $679.24.
