Narrative: Cold. Numb. Feeling good. A few months ago I bought a new belt. It's for a 32" Waist and has 5 holes in it. I started on hole 1. Today I'm at hole 4. Yeah, I'm kinda slimming out in the waist. That's a good thing and a bad thing. Good because hey, I'm losing weight. Bad because I'm also not deadlifting anymore and I'm sure that's playing in to it at least a little bit. That's my story for today.

Legs: Shorts, not thermal, that super thin either. Black
Socks: moisture whicking, white.
Shoes: Asics Gel Fortitiude 3, white w/ blue trim.

I had a runny noise for maybe an hour today. No big deal.
I haven't run into a situation where I'm having trouble breathing. I credit the PIT that IMFL has me doing. :)

I never really got a that "good workout" feeling today. Opening with BB Incline seemed to really drain me more than normal. So much for tuna and seeds for preworkout. Need carbs. I guess when I put it in to perspective I don't feel so bad, but I know I could have been more explosive had I had some carbs.

Try fish oil for fats, I don't even think about carbs, I think I actually have more energy taking lots of these+basic stim than with carbs.

Was able to get the whole workout in, in 60 minutes. I was happy about that. The depleted pushups at the end were laughable. I couldn't believe how exhausted my chest/tris were after today's lift. That being said, I guess it was a successful lift. :)

Narrative:
Today was the first day in...I don't even know how long, that I did a shoulder day. I think the hardest thing for me has been doing the same weight, or in most cases less weight, than I was doing X months ago.

Yes, I weigh less and I should be happy with these numbers. But it's all f*cking mental. I used to do Xlbs and now I can only do Ylbs. Frustrating.

My run time today was a minute slower than my last run. I attribute that to 2-a-days + only ~120 carbs today (pre and post shoulder workout,) and doing legs yesterday. Either way I know why it suffered a little, so I'm not disappointed. I am sore as sh*t though. I started off slow due to legs yesterday. I came out of the box feeling like I was gonna cramp up all to hell. Luckily I pre-gamed my run with some BCAAs and magnesium so I knew cramping wasn't in the game plan. All I had to do was keep the wheels turning. I didn't really get a good stride going until the last 2/5 of the run.

Oh yeah, shaved my head. Grabbed a Schick and went to town on it. I did a good job too if I do say so myself. I'm a shower shaver so I didn't have a mirror, I didn't cut myself, and I didn't leave any patches. :)

numbers are just numbers man. what you're puttin up is still awesome. you pointed out that you're droppin a few pounds so its expected that some weights aren't gonna be as high. and you're right, it's all mental. as soon as someone plants a seed of doubt in their mind, its all over -- don't get me wrong, i'm not saying you did, but you're absolutely right, it's all mental. keep up the hard work, buddy.

Went wide on the benching today since I destroyed my tri's yesterday. I figured that a combination of depleted tris and wide grip would help to maximize pec activation today. Humble pie? Yes have some. On the bright side, I've already hit all 5 muscle groups this week. So tomorrow and Saturday are just running. Thank goodness.

My Hypertest came in today too. I Will probably start that up with the new week (Sunday.) So that will probably bring this log to a close, since I'm already going to have to wait until May anyway. Might as well start fresh.
