Narrative:
I'm sure you're all looking at my workout today and saying wtf. I am too. Zecher Squats are no joke!
I seriously have not been so exhausted, or humbled, after any exercise EVER. I don't know if I was having a rough morning or if those things just really kicked the sh*t out of me. I'm thinking it's the latter. If you don't believe me, try them. I double dare you. F*ck that, you gotta take the Physical Challenge!
(Yeah, I totally went there; and used totally in a sentence.)
Anyway, since I felt like I was going to throw up (I know, right?) and I knew it would have happened had I done walking lunges, I decided to call it quits after those lifts.
Enough of the bad news. Now for the awesome. Sorry if you chuckleheads were expecting hot chicks today. It's good to know that I will no longer roam alone. :burnout:
Diet:
Had a cheat meal after cardio. Just keeping it honest. It was cold out and I didn't feel like cooking. Pizza time, just like a ninja turtle!
I think these pullups are playing havoc on my recovery. Either that or I'm trying to come down with something. Maybe a good night's sleep is all I need...I'll keep you all posted.

Narrative:
Mowed the lawn today. I did get some good sleep last night (9+ hours,) but I was still feeling kinda lethargic today. If this keeps up I may just do the 4 lifting days and say F- the cardio to help with recovery. Incline bench is still a bit of an embarassment, but I wanted to switch up from the past few weeks of dumbbells.
The only thing I have to report on the supplement side is that I'm still able to increase my pullups count consistently day after day. Before starting this log, and this pullup contest, I could hardly do any unassisted pullups at all, maybe 5 or 6 total.

Owie! Today sucked. My back is in tatters, I feel like my pecs are about to split apart after weighted dips, and I'm dead tired. It was a pretty f*cking awesome workout! I just hope I'm able to move tomorrow morning. I think that after this log is over I'm going to give myself a week to recover, no lifting (except for maybe pullups,) and no supplements except for the basics.

I'm alive! So yeah, I went in to total cocoon mode this weekend and returned recharged, refreshed, and ready for round 2. How's that for alliteration?!
I've come to the conclusion that at this point in time I'll be unable to continue CopyCat's pull up contest. http://anabolicminds.com/forum/workout-logs/119255-100-day-pull.html The lack of recovery that I was getting while doing those was destroying my lifting and my intensity. I've definitely gained a lot of respect for the brave souls who are continuing their quest to 100 pull ups.
Now for today. Tore into my legs today. Zercher squats certainly turn heads. I decided to go up in weight this week and lower the rep count. It helped me work on control as well as appeased the ego a little bit (I know I should leave him at the door, but 135lb last week? COME ON!)
I went a little higher on SLDL than the last couple weeks too, I was feeling good and fresh today. 275 stiff legged felt great, I had to stop at 3 because grip was slipping. I switched to a mixed grip and did another 3 reps.
Walking lunges felt good today. Looking back I should have done one more weighted set, oh well. No worries, it was good to actually hit them this week.

Narrative:
Today was back to dumbbells for chest. I would have gone heavier on my last set but I didn't have a spotter with and I didn't want to take a lot of time recovering between sets.
I took Codygen and Cre02 a little late but I don't think that really hampered my workout. I had a SICK pump going in my chest on the cables. My veins always stick on on bicep day.
I'm planning on a cardio and ab day tomorrow.

Narrative:
I shouldn't have done DL and SLDL in the same week. I feel like if I hadn't done those stiff legged DLs on Monday that I would have been able to do a few more sets at higher weight Friday. As it is Saturday right now, all I can say is that the diet yesterday and thursday was relatively clean.
Thursday I talked with a Marine Corps recruiter. The Gunny called the local OSS and had me talk with them. The OSO is supposed to give me a call next week to setup an interview just to meet me and answer a bunch of questions I have since I'm still decided between departments. A certain {Fe} around these parts is biased towards Army however Thursday the Army recruiter was out of the office. Since I'm still months away from making a decision there's no worries. There are sure to be a slew of acronyms appearing on these pages in the coming future.
Narrative:
I appologize for the lack of updates here lately. Thursday was my day off so I went to the recruiters office, mowed the lawn, washed my truck, and ran some errands. Friday I had to lift before work (closed at 9:30) and since I had to be up at 6:00 this morning I didn't have time to update last night.
Now that that's out of the way: Ok, standing bradford SUCKS! I've never felt so useless before in my life! On the other hand, I was feeling strong as sh*t during Military.
This evening I finally had a cheat meal that I'd been hankering. Stir-fry. It was primarily chicken, beef, and broccoli so it wasn't 'really dirty' but I did have drink for once in a blue moon; Glenfiddich 18 year, neat. You put ice in that or mix it with something, you're ruining good scotch.
So I digress. Rest of the day was good, sugars (from fruit/milk) kept in the A.M., complex carbs in the afternoon/post workout. Protein and fat throughout the day. Just downed a miceller casein/milk protein isolate mix (All The Whey) with some fish oil and will probably be heading to bed in the next hour or so.
I'll take some pictures in the morning as well as update my weight. I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary since I first started posting pictures, I'll be interested in seeing what a year of actually having a grasp on what I'm doing will look like.
If my day count is correct I've only got 11 days left of Cordygen and Cre-02.
Tomorrow I think I'll do some sprints outside to change up the cardio a little bit. I've been really satisfied with these two products so far. They're products you don't really 'feel working' but you certainly notice a difference in your capabilities. I don't feel stimmed out of my mind or a perpetual pump that makes me want to show off my swole to the ladies; what I do feel is the ability to crank out my scheduled reps and weights. Exceptions are self-inflicted, such as trying new lifts (Zercher squats, bradford press, etc.) which I still feel have been successful in their execution and their benefit to my progress. On standard lifts (squats, bench, military, sldl, rows) I am able to complete my sets, crank out those last reps, and push myself past what I feel should be my limit.

------------
Weighed in at 199 this morning. Could have been lower but I did get crazy with some stir fry last night, 2 big bowls of beef, chicken, and broccoli. Also since I'm not going calorie deficient more than maybe 200 or so on off days. I'm not expecting myself to really shed any weight fast. Going for the recomp, slow and steady.
Here's what my pictures looked like. It's a little blurry, and I did just wake up so I was all sorts of soft. I didn't really feel like flexing or pretty-ing up for you guys:
Narrative:
My shins hurt pretty bad today after yesterday's sprints. This Friday I'm planning on going to a running shoe store so that I can get my feet/stride measured so that I can get the right kind of running shoes for my body. It'd probably be a good idea to grab a pair of cross trainers too. Thank goodness I got a tax refund.
I also need to get a 2x6 plank for Zercher squats. Those things were pinching a nerve in my arm today to the point that I had to switch to front squats. Those things weren't much better. I need to work on my form. So I ALSO threw in a set of regular squats to complete my squat confusion. It felt really good though, sets of different squats @ different weights. I may continue something like that for weeks here on.
Diet was good today. To give you an idea the 'worst' thing I ate today was a VPX Zero Impact bar. I'm still mad at VPX for taking out the Miceller Casein and CLA from their bar formula, but they still taste so good and are actually a healthier bar choice.

Well brave the squalls
And bust your balls

To go on a pillaging spree
Well cut off your ears
And break your toes
And make you drink our pee
And if you sail into our waters
You best hear this decree
Well take your boat
Set your ass afloat
Somalian pirates we
With a yo ho ho (yo ho ho)
And a tricky lah-tee do (tricky lah-tee do)
Well shoot you in the face with glee
Then well cut off your cock
And feed it to a croc

My front delts were already sore at f*ck today. I blame it on weighted dips yesterday. I'm either going to have to lay up on those, do them earlier in the week, or do them on the same day as shoulders. Decisions, decisions. I'm tired, peace out.
