Shaddow vs. T-Roid & P-Plex

Have you taken a few days off of training, shaddow? I would suggest resting the next three to four days, and note if your sleep improves toward the end of your rest schedule. You may find an "unwinding" of the CNS is necessary. (I will not become overly technical with the reasons why here.)

No rest for the weary. I understand that it would probably be helpful, but I am unfortunately far too stubborn to take any time off from training (especially while still ON) unless I'm sick or injured.

Besides, I've got a PR to go for on DB bench presses tomorrow. I got 110x6 in November. I think it's time for a new PR.

I'll take a few days off in June.

I went into the gym and did some heavy ab work tonight. Decline bench db-on-the-chest sit-ups @ 50, 75, & 100#. And I hit the Ab Coaster (have I mentioned how much I love that thing?) with 40, 80, and 120#. I was shocked to hit so many clean reps @ 120#. My abs are ****ing beat to hell right now.

I'm gonna get to bed early tonight. I'm exhausted again, stocked up on diphenhydramine, and about to lay down with the gf for a nice long "cardio" session. ;) Have a good night, AM. :wave2:

To each his own brother. I just think it would be a good idea to get what you need out of the cycle, and not have to cut it short.

Right. I understand. And I know that you're smarter than me and have valid reasons for what you say. And you bring up good points. But I'm at the point right now where I'm ready to end this. I don't feel like I'm cutting myself short. If anything, I feel like I've been overdoing it. I gained a pound a week for the first 2 weeks. That's money. But then I started to get sick. I've only gotten sick once before on cycle, on an attempted 3 week M1T run, and that 3rd week was miserable. I stuck through it, but got no real added benefit from it.

Like I said, I've never wanted to come off a cycle so bad in my entire life. I am ready for this to end.

If I were to do it again (and I think I will in the fall or early winter), I will attempt a 2-on-2-off 2-on-2-off protocol.

2 more days after today and then I will happily be entering PCT.

Mullet, a question if I may: Would you recommend I add Prime to my PCT, or should I save it for after PCT. I was already planning to take PCT Assist & DTH starting Monday. I have a bottle of Prime and a bottle of AP on hand that I was planning to add into the mix somewhere. Prime definitely boosted my appetite which could probably use a little assistance, but I was thinking about running Prime & AP after PCT to see if I could keep the gains coming. I've already decided I won't be cutting this summer. Any thoughts on that?

I would not say I am necessarily more intelligent than you, particularly in the knowledge of your body. I am coming off terse lately, but it is because I am tired. What I meant to say was this: "I just feel that taking a break may allow you to ameliorate some of the symptoms you are experiencing, both allowing you to extend a cycle under better conditions, as well as retain a higher proportion of weight post-cycle".

Hmm, if it is not too cost prohibitive you could run it in and subsequently through P.C.T.,

Oh, and FYI, I slept 11 hours last night. :woohoo: Woke up a bit groggy, and down in weight a little, but I feel well rested. Now for that PR attempt later tonight...

Oh, no. You're definitely more intelligent than me, and I appreciate it every time you post in my threads because it's good to hear what you have to say and I respect your thoughts and perspective. And I do truly understand what you're saying, but what I'm saying is "I'm done". I don't wanna be on anymore. It was fun while it lasted, but I'm throwing in the towel. I've had enough.

Unfortunately cost really is an issue for me at the moment, otherwise I would have run AP throughout my cycle and PCT. I'm pretty much limited to the supplements I have on hand, which includes one bottle of Prime and one bottle of AP. So, if you had to choose: PCT or PPCT?

Did you dose the IC magic sleepy pills?

I did. I was already exhausted, took 75mg diphenhydramine, had a couple nice long "cardio" sessions with the gf to help tire me further, woke up when the gf left for work, dosed some G, went back to sleep, and finally got up at noon. :woohoo:

Ha, I stared at that for a little while...Post Post Cycle Therapy? :) - I think you should run it in BOTH! You don't need much AP; that stuff lasts for a good while. All you need is one capsule with a heavy CHO meal, so I'd say maybe use it just on workout days; 2x/day max. It will help fill those muscle bellies up and aid in holding on to the weight.

G? Should I know what that is?

be safe man. PCT is probably the best thing for you. you've come a long way from this cycle - so nothing to be ashamed about - just your body telling you its that time.

Yeah, Post Post Cycle Therapy. LOL.

I just remembered I'm actually running ALA (contained in my AX Perfect Cycle) also as part of my ancillaries, and I'm actually upping my dosage during PCT. I've been taking that before my heavy carb meals. I realize it's not quite as effective as AP, but I think I'll stick with that for the time being, then do AP during PPCT. :D

Yeah, I'm not ashamed at all. I'm actually looking forward to this PCT. LOL.

PCT can be great when you have the right products...The best PCT I ever had was coming off of a 14 week Test Prop and Tren Ace cycle. Hahah. I had everything...Torem, AIs, Test boosters, and plethoras of other stuff. I was in PCT for like 6-8 weeks and loved every day.

Speaking of PCT, my PCT will now be further assisted by LG's T-911. So starting Monday I will be running:

Hawthorn @ 1200mg
B-complex @ 2 caps
Anabolic Xtreme Perfect Cycle @ 6 tablets
C-1000 (Vitamin C) @ 4g
Policosanol @ 20mg
Vitex @ 900mg
Saw Palmetto @ 320mg
Creatine @ 10g + Dextrose @ 50g
P.C.T Assist @ 4 caps
Diesel Test Hardcore @ 4 tablets
T-911 @ 3 tabs (when it gets here)
Tamoxifen (Nolva) @ 40/30/20/10

I've always wanted to try Perfect Cycle, but the one time I used 6-bromo I got gyno rebound. It could have been a coincidence from something else, but it sucked, and I've never used it since...I've never heard anyone else say anything negative about it.

It was Designer Supplements' Rebound Reloaded.

Hope you like that T911. I'll be joining you in PCTland pretty soon, although mine is much more subtle...

Nolva: 20/10/10
T911: 3 tabs/day

lol

Perfect Cycle is (2 caps):

1000mg NAC
600mg milk thistle
200mg ALA

There's no 6-Bromo in it.

PR City!!!

Day 29: Friday, April 24
Weight: 202.8 (+14.4) :frustrate

Workout #13 - A1

Flat db press: 2 warm-ups @ 50x18, 75x12
Working set with rest-pauses: 110x9 +2 +(2 fully assisted) - PR

Up from 100# for 7 reps last time around, and a new PR smashing my old PR of 110x6. **** YEAH!!!! :head: I had to get a spot on my last rest-pause and dude assisted me a bit too much, but it's probably better that way cuz that second rest-pause hurt bad and I might've lost an arm (or two) trying it on my own.

DB shoulder press: 2 warm-ups @ 25x18, 45x12
Working set with rest-pauses: 70x9 +FAIL +FAIL + (1 minute rest) +7

My PR for shoulder presses is 80x6, but there is just no way I'm gonna get close to that immediately after hitting a PR on a chest exercise. No way in hell. When I hit that PR I was actually doing shoulders 3-4 days after my chest day. I actually tried starting out with 75's today, but couldn't get them over my head. LOL. Then I couldn't handle the rest pauses, failing twice. Decided to rest a minute and bang out one more set @ 70# and just move on. That's good enough for me for now.

Dips: 2 warm-ups @ 30# assist x20, BWx18
Working set with rest-pauses: +40#x13 (Oops, I forget the rest-pauses)

**** YES!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY. I haven't been able to do weighted dips in ages, and I crushed it today (by my standards). I know that's not a lot of weight compared to what some guys are doing, but that's great for me. My shoulders were hurting a bit after this, but that should be expected after a PR on db bench presses and my heavy failed shoulder presses, then hitting dips which always hurt me anyways.

Wide-grip lat pulldowns: 2 warm ups @ 90x18, 120x12
Working set with rest-pauses: 180x8 +4 +2 (3 assisted)

Straps @ 180, up 20# from last time, and another PR. Got an assist on my last rest-pause and banged out 2 reps and a 3rd assisted rep. :head:

DB rows: 2 warm-ups @ 50x18, 80x12
Working set: 120x10 - PR

What's that? Another PR? ****ING HELL YES!!! If I wasn't so freaking exhausted by this point I'm pretty sure I could've done 15 reps. Hell, I probably could've banged out 6 reps @ 140# if I wasn't so tired.

Notes:

What a ****ing workout. Holy ****. I felt like a monster in the gym today. 3 PR's!!!! I seriously feel HUGE. I'm hurting bad right now. Tired, sore, and beat up. My shoulders are hating me right now. Time to get ready for some sushi cheating tonight. :food:

I don't know if my wrists could handle 110lbs on DB Press. They've been wobbly recently.

My wrists feel fine on db presses. They actually move around a bit on barbell presses though. It's weird. I can push 110# db's 9 times, but I'd be shocked if I could move 225 on the barbell. When I was incline pressing 195 the other day my wrists were moving around a bit. I've just always sucked at the bb press for some reason. But those dumbbells, man, they just feel right in my hands.

Excellent work on the three new PR's! How are your joints feeling thus far?

My joints feel great! My shoulders hurt a little after the rest pauses on those db presses, and then the failed shoulder presses and dips aggravated it a bit more, but nothing too serious. I feel good today. Definitely not feeling any pain like I used to get when doing high volume workouts.

Way to fukkin crush those DB Incline Presses shaddow!!! :smashfreakB: :chairshot: U Da Mayne!! :notworthy:

That PCT looks uber thorough. Sound as a pound.
You'll absolutely freakin' love the T-911. Best PCT product I have EVER used!!

Amazing work Shadow sir! :box:

I'm gonna be optimistic and say that it's probably just really badly bruised since I don't think there's even any bones there, but if I didn't know any better I'd say I broke something in my left hand. Right between my thumb and my index finger in that webbed part it is swollen big time and bulging out. I don't think I'll be able to lift tomorrow. DB curls and reverse-grip curls. HA! Yeah right. FML. :frustrate

I'm gonna go ice this **** and pray for the best. I'm pretty sure it's just bruised, but it's definitely not pretty.

Take a pic bro

Was this out of nowhere? How did this happen?

My dumbass was running up the stairs in the dark with my hands full and I tripped on a step and came down on my hand funny.

Take a pic bro

You can kinda see how it's all swollen over my thumb. A better pic would be a comparison side view of both hands, but I obviously can't take a picture of both of my hands. If I turn my hand sideways it's about twice as thick as my right hand.

I'm surprised it's not purple cuz last night it looked like it was starting to turn purple and there were little red dots all over. I put ice on it and wrapped it and slept with it elevated. I woke up this morning and there was no bruising, it's just really swollen.

I'm pretty sure it's nothing serious, but it hurts like a bitch. I couldn't bend my thumb at all yesterday, but I've got most of my movement back today. It hurts to make a fist, but it's much more painful to open my hand and bend my thumb back.

I guess Mullet wins. I can't come off these hormones today with an injury cuz I'm afraid I'll lose too much strength. I'm pretty sure I'll be fine in a few days with some rest once the swelling goes down. Not much else I can do right now but keep icing it and hope for the best. So I guess I'm gonna have to open up those extra T-Roid & P-Plex bottles I was saving for later and keep this going a bit longer...

It does look pretty swollen :(

You're fine man. I can almost promise you that's not a break. I do think you have a pretty fair sprain though... I'd suggest what these guys are throwing around, as well as some hot soaks in epsom salts, and also some rub downs with Tiger Linment followed by wrapping in plastic wrap. That should get your swelling down. Ice as well inbetween.

You put the balm on? Who told you to put the balm on? I didn't tell you to put the balm on. Why'd you put the balm on? You haven't even been to see the doctor. If you're gonna put a balm on, let a doctor put a balm on.

lol nice reference IC
